Now we..." he looks around at the others as if waiting for something, giving it a moment or two before, "Okay, well, if there is nothing else down here to try and kill us I will try my luck upstairs where the spooky noise came from. Nothing could possibly go wrong up there, I am sure," he says with obvious sarcasm in his tone. If there is nothing else of interest down here, then Victor will go upstairs as he intended initially. I know there's a map around somewhere but I'm just too tired and too lazy to go looking for it. :p

"Okay, this is kind of sick, I must say." He takes the bookend - then throws the scarf in the fireplace - and goes to show the others what he's found. "Now, I have not yet burned the scarf but I found this. Looks like someone was killed with... this?" He looks at it, a bit confused. "I do not know, it does not make any sense how this thing could kill someone and why this would be in the fireplace." He shrugs. "I will leave this with you all while I go back and burn the scarf." He then moves to do just that.

As he places a hand over his face and drags his fingers over his eyes coming to a stop at the bridge of his nose, "I am glad that is over." He watches as Eponine gives her another vial and she manages to come to. Victor attempts to calm her as she wakes slightly in a panic. "You are okay, Nuri, you are okay. It is over now. Whatever 'it' was decided to 'give up' I guess. I do not know what started it or why it ended but it is over." He looks over at the scarf, "At least for now. Who knows if it will start again." Victor rises from his seat and offers a hand to help her up. "Let us not give it that opportunity, hm?"

No. This cannot be happening again. This cannot be... "NOOOOOOO! NOT AGAIN!" He frantically digs in his pack and removes both of his vials of healing - not even bothering to check for a pulse as he pours one after the other down her throat, hoping and praying history has not repeated itself. Potion of Clw's: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6

Are you insane?! We are suppose to simply lock the thing in here while it strangles Nuri to death?! That is no good, Miss Wren! No... good!" he yells as he again and again attempts to remove the indestructible clothing.

We can do nothing! What the <bleep> kind of scarf is this?!?! All we are going to do here is watch her die!" Victor makes another attempt to remove the scarf, knowing full well it is pointless and also knowing he has no other options. Will try and grab the scarf. I figured shooting it probably wasn't a good idea. ;) CMB(Grappling(I guess)): 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (2) + 9 = 11 Ugh. Shock and surprise. I'm also not sure how far Nuri is from Victor, so, if I have to move to get to her, I'm guessing since it's the surprise round all I can do is move. Which would work out well considering my crappy roll.

What do you - or any of you for that matter - suggest we do?" he simply asks. He then scans the house again, "I must confess, this place is a bit spooky looking. All of those dead creatures and whatever that thing is in the middle. It is hard to imagine anyone ever living here."

I would guess whoever or whatever is in here, that is where they are, tormenting another. I must do what I can to..." Victor fades off a moment before eventually shaking his head from his reverie. "I must go." Victor heads toward the stairway, a look of determination about him - a look that is rarely seen upon the flamboyant warrior.

I needed work, they were looking for those trained in range combat, I applied even though I was not trained and got the job. But they were not aware I was not trained." He winks. "That is pretty much it."

Seeing that he missed horribly, Victor continues to stare at the undead Belril through narrowed eyes, his serious demeanor unchanged. "Or... you could simply continue your current undeath way of life because to be honest, it fits you. Good luck, Belril. Until we meet again," he mumbles again under his breath. Victor stares for a moment longer before realizing that this is an actual battle and there is no time to be lost in some weird world of his. Immediately bringing himself back to reality, Cover your tracks! Cover your tracks! "Get him, people! Do not just stand there!" How are you able to see?" he asks suspiciously, his other hand just itching to draw an arrow.
