I'm at a pretty high level, and got the wish spell.

I want to use wish to redo my initial point buy and my DM said I can if I can phrase it in a way that makes sense in character. I'm having trouble finding an in character way to phrase that. Any ideas?

I'm trying to stat out cities for a campaign setting I'm building for my home game and I need some help with something.

I want to make a dirt poor part of a city, so I need to describe income levels.

Long story short: In a Golarion like setting (follwing strict WBL etc) what is the typical annual income of a commoner (farmers, unskilled laborers, etc)? I need that as a benchmark for setting everyone else's wealth.

I'm allowing the Dreamscarred Press psionics book in a campaign. Due to the incredibly short list of psion spells I was thinking of just combining the psion and wizard list.

I have a system for converting between disciplines and schools and converting between displays and components.

The question I have is does this open up any can of worms I'm not seeing?

Does it imbalance either class to make it too powerful? I'm not seeing any reason it should, I just want some more eyes on it before I announce it to the party.

Setting up a macro and need to know for my attack. Does a creature with Grab and constrict with an amulet of mighty fists add his enhancement bonus to the grapple attempt and constrict damage?

Can;t find the RAW on this.

When a monster has an attack listed as "2 claws +5 (1d6+3)" does that mean they get a single attack at +5 that deals 1d6+3 damage, 2 claw attacks each at +5 that each deal 1d6+3 damage, or do they have 2 claw attacks and use normal 2 weapon fighting rules?

And can you point me to the RAW that has the answer cause I've been looking through the SRD and can't find it.

I'm going to be filling in for a couple months so my DM can take a break and figure out what we're going to do next, so I'm using my old homebrew setting and giving everybody wacky adventures while the DM takes a break.

I need to make 10 modules, and I need progressively stranger ideas for adventures. I can make the adventure myself, I just need an idea to start from. I just need 1 but I'm willing to kick one of the ones I have so far if I get a few I like.

Here's the ones I have so far:

1 goblins! (this is the noob cave. Just a normal goblin hunt)
2 fighting Kobolds from the future on a starship
3 Forest of Sea creatures
4 future and past being meshed together in strange ways. (dinosaur riding cowboys, anybody?)
5 underground tower that is 10 floors going up
6 invading a castle protected by gargoyles (the Disney kind of gargoyle)
7 a dungeon with 10 cubic rooms where gravity can be altered and puzzles based on this
8 ripoff of radical dreamers, complete with serge magil and kidd as enemies
9 some sort of dungeon where you have to change sizes to progress somehow...

And I need more. :P the weirder, the better!

Hi all.

I need some RP advice.

I'm playing in a campaign right now with a character who's coming up to the enemy that's been built up for her from the start. This is one of those situation where the danger is upped about 1000% so I've been thinking of other characters I can play if my current one dies.

As the title suggests, I was thinking a Kobold Paladin of Apsu. Character concept being that he's on a holy mission to teach the other races about his people in an effort to stop people from coming into their territory and slaughtering them all the time.

My DM will let me play anything if I can justify it. So I would like to know ways in which a lawful good kobold could contribute to (and be in good standing with) kobold society and survive until adulthood.

Any tips about Kobold Society in general above what's in the monster manual, and tips on how to play a low int, low wis kobold are welcome too.

Here's a thought experiment for friendly discussion. Which is the worse cross class: sorcerer/wizard, or cleric/oracle? And why?

As a secondary topic, how viable do you think a sorcerer/wizard/bard is and why?

Have fun.

How many items of negligible weight equal one pound. I heard somewhere that it's 10 but I can't find a rule that backs this up.

I need to know because I'm making a gun slinger as a backup character for pathfinder society in case my current one dies, and need to know how many paper alchemical cartridges I can carry.

I was trying my hand with the item creation guidelines, so I just picked a spell at random and ran with it. I ended up liking the result. Here is what I came up with. Tell me if you like it. Hope it didn't already exist.

Steel Scarf
Aura faint transmutation; CL 3rd

Slot Shield; Price 12,000 gp; Weight negligible.
Description
This ordinary looking scarf has been permenantly modified by the effect of a silk to steel spell. As a free action, the scarf can stiffen up and become hard as steel, functioning as a light shield, but granting a +2 shield bonus to ac with no armor check penalty or spell failure chance. This item can be further enchanted as a shield, but only grants any abilities it has as a shield in this form. (for the purposes of further enhancements, treat this item as a masterwork shield.)
It can also function as a mundane whip for one round as a free action. It can be further enchanted as a whip, but only grants any abilities it has as a whip in this form. (for the purposes of further enhancements, treat this item as a masterwork whip.)

Pricing:
Use-activated or continuous (continuous in this case)
Spell level x caster level x 2,000 gp
2x3(wizard level required to cast the spell)x2000=12000gp

This item as per creation formulas should have the cost 4 times as much since the spell is measured in rounds. I intentionally did not do that, because the item's power level really doesn't warrant that cost. 48000 is the same price as a shield with a +7 enhancement for cripes sake! This thing can just turn into a whip for a round at a time and turn into a scarf when you're not using it. It's not an uber item. ;)

A sap deals nonlethal damage. Anarchic makes the weapon deal an additional 2d6 damage to lawful creatures. Is this additional damage lethal or non-lethal in this case?

I have a character specialising in non lethal damage (including taking the merciful spell feat) and want to know if this weapon would also need the merciful ability or not. I can't find anything in the rules one way or the other.

Sorry if this has been asked before. I played 3.5 for years, and I'm starting a new game on Sunday. I've decided to take points in Profession (engineer) and knowledge (engineering). The thing is, I've never taken these skills or had anyone take these skills when I DMed.

What is the functional difference between the two skills (ie in what situations would you use one over the other)?

And what exactly is in the purview of engineering? I can't fined any rules that define what engineering actually is, in game terms.

If there's a 3.5 book with this in it you can point me to that would be great. I have an extensive 3.5 collection just haven't been able to find anything on my own in my 55 book collection.
