The Goblins hit with the missle looks up and runs toward the gnome who threw the bad ball at him. The other goblins grab food off of the cart and begin to eat.

Belor is up (standard action only)

Belor notices that the creature that Trin attacked is running toward her, so Belor grabs his bow and an arrow, notches it, and shoots the arrow at the vile thing.

Belor rolls to see if he hits the creature: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9

Belor rolls for damage (if the attack is successful): 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 2 = 9 (He gets a +2 bonus because it's a goblin.)

You would need to roll a knowledge check (local or nature)

You can't move and attack.

If you are attacking, roll the attack. For magic missile roll the damage.

Knowledge (Nature): 1d20 ⇒ 7

Belor's favored enemy is goblin. Would he already know if the creatures are goblins since that's his favored enemy type?

Belor waits for his turn before acting.

Belor grabs his bow and an arrow, takes a couple of steps, and shoots at the creature on the left.

If that's the creature that killed the dog, then he will shoot at the one on the far right. However, if he sees that Trin is in danger, he will shoot at anything that threatens her instead since he is last to act.

Does Belor or Trin know what kind of creatures they are?

Is Stjohn allowed to give me (Kendros) advice during combat about what my characters should do? There may be times when I overlook something, and I hope he can jump in and correct something I do (or don't do).

Strolls around the square and walks toward the cathedral. Notices a hooded man to her right. "Are you enjoying the festival?" Trin inquires with genuine interest. Being a gnome and having high charisma, I believe Trin will be a natural at meeting others.

"Yes, I am," I reply. I exchange pleasantries with the gnome and introduce myself. "I am Belor and am new to Sandpoint. What's your name?"

You find the Sheriff, a tall burly Shoanti man with a dark complexion. He tells you that he has enough deputies at this point and isn't hiring, but welcomes you to town and tells you that you may be able to find farm work nearby, but it's a fairly quiet town these days. He seems quite busy keeping an eye on the festival crowd and politely tries to get back to work observing the festival goers and watching for pick pockets.

"Thank you for your time, Sheriff."

Approaches the large church on the east side of the square. Notices an attractive gnome to his right also looking at the church.

Looks for Sheriff Hemlock to offer him his services as a ranger.

It is purely coincidence that the sheriff and I have the same first name. Ha!

Please pardon the brief postings of Belor and Trin. If I need to use a skill or make a roll, please be sure to let me know. I am feeling a little overwhelmed! :)
