Beatrice grew up in a wealthy noble home known for its reputable trading ship company. Now, Beatrice was always different and was deemed unladylike by her father as she had more of an interest in her family's tallships than her textbooks. This made her quite popular among the sailors and she was eventually taught how to sail (against her father's wishes, of course).
Beatrice also had a gift, a natural talent in dealing with and manipulating people and she used this to her advantage. Her abilities, paired with her association with the local sailors eventually led her to discover gambling. Her skills made her quite successful and she began seeking larger prize pools. While she is making a name for herself, it is not in the way that her father wanted. As a result, she is not very close to her family and usually spends long trips away from home.
Beatrice is very competitive and never turns down a challenge. She is kind-hearted and loyal to her friends, but suspicious of strangers and she will not shy away from manipulating people to get what she wants. While she loves to travel and meet new people, she only truly feels at home when she's at sea.
While Beatrice is in the public eye, she will usually be seen wearing her fitted blue dress. Despite the contention between her and her father, she also dons her family brooch. It is silver and shaped like a shearwater. She has platinum blonde hair, pulled into a loose wispy bun. She has high defined cheekbones with slim arched eyebrows. She has tanned skin from her days in the sun, with a button nose and plump rose-coloured lips. She has well-defined blue eyes.
