I was wondering (basic level question) how are these online games played? I know it says by forum but I don't know exactly what that means. Is it like play by post, streaming or something else entirely. I'm looking for a game but there are no games near me and was interested in trying something online. Thanks for your help.

it is a play-by-post thing. Paizo offers some cool features on their boards, like die roller, comments etc. to make a play-by-post campaign possible.

The convention starts at midnight, June 3rd 00:00 PDT US, which is June 3rd 10:00 your time I think. Starting your game at 4 PM in GMT+3 is safe :)

Hm, just found out that full games are not listed in the LFG list. Just FYI.

Usually there's a GM boon and a Player boon, meaning two different boons. But not every player gets a boon, only if you roll natural 20 at the end of the game ;) At least it was handled like this for the PbP Gamedays. Provided there are enough tables registered for boon support. The GM boon may be applied to any character, the player boon as well afaik.

Ups, I deleted the Pseude-Session example you linked above, sorry! It was not possible to change the name of the game and I wanted to include the Scnario name and character level. I created a new one, but it seems it takes some time until it shows up in the list. Maybe you want to list another one? XD

Volunteering for a Tier 3-4 standard table. I'm really looking forward to this, our local community is too small to run multi-table events...

I've played D&D 3.5 (and I have old copies of the original game with chits), but I've never played either Pathfinder or Pathfinder Society.

Is it possible to start a Pathfinder Society character online, or will that just be very difficult?

When I see Tier 5-9 in the sign-up spreadsheet, I'm assuming that means level 5-9, and so there isn't any start-up game running. Is this correct?

Hi Dan,

it's not difficult to create a Pathfinder Society character. Go to your 'My Account' page, scroll down a bit and in the left column you should see a 'Pathfinder Society' area. Click on edit and you should be able to create a new PFS character.

And regarding the start-up games: I add new games whenever I have time to start one, there will be new level 1-5 games soon.

I have to swap my character if it's not a problem. Elenial was needed in another game where we had to swap GM/Player. The highest level I have available is 5. If it's a problem, I will bow out so somebody from the waiting list can join.
