I am following up with one player on the core 1-2. Looks like I have all people who have played standard (which is fully expected, it's why you offer core tables!). Since everyone is/was planning to step back and let someone who hasn't played before make all the decisions, I offered my services to make the worst possible decision for them at each decision point. Not sure they will take me up on it.

I received my scenario last night so I should be good to go now! :D

Just found out that all the low-level replacement characters are CORE.

I just had a spot open up, so I PMed the first person on the list to see if they wanted a low-level standard spot, even though they'd signed up for high-tier.

My Gameplay Thread

I have 6 reporting in now.

Went ahead and opened my table up to some pre-briefing RP and the like as well as PMed folks to make sure they know that things are active (and that the official start date is still October 6th)! :)

Mine have gone through introductions.

If any players have not reported by now, or if you have a vacancy for any reason, please look for replacements. If there's nobody on the waitlist, then you can make a recruitment post in Flaxseed.

I may potentially have a vacancy at my table; waiting to hear from the player to confirm for certain or not.

I probably won't be online at all tomorrow, and maybe not Tuesday either. If anybody needs to reach me during that time, try me on Google Hangouts. My account is scotch78@gmail.com

Looks like I will have at least one, maybe two vacancies at my Std 5-6 table.

One is the level 4 character, but he has pretty much no presence here - possibly just jumped on around signin time and has never been back.

The other is caps, who is usually pretty good, but I haven't seen a post from him in almost a week. But I can give him another couple of days.

Neither has responded to PM, and I have no other contact info.

Tomorrow I'm going to the next person on the list, and then I'll post it in Flaxseed if they don't want it.

Hold on my opening - the 4th level just PMd me, it is his first PbP, so I am going to work with him to make sure he is cool with what he is getting into.

Is there any reason a 4th level shouldn't play in a 5-6 table (other than the obvious danger factor?)

Nope, it's perfectly legal.

Sorry this is so late.

Apologies for lack of content since Friday. Biggest quarter ever at work, which meant ridiculous number of contracts going through last minute, so Friday through Monday was working all weekend. I didn't get to even check PbP for 4 days. Sorry I didn't give any notice or updates.

Looks like all of mine have now checked in!

10-11 is checked in and intros are done. I’m happy that the table does not seem to be murder hobo, which bodes well. On the down side most of the party seems to be support characters, which are great, but someone needs to be the one to do things.

Here is the current status, as I am aware of it:
Cwethan, Fuzzfoot, MichaelCullen and Silbeg's tables are fully reported and ready to go.

Baerlie and Dennis' tables have vacancies that need to be filled.

Ladile's table might have a vacancy.

I still need to know the status of Eddv, and Thrawn's tables. Have all six players reported? If not, please find a replacement ASAP, starting with the waitlist.

I have 4/6 checked in and sent PMs to the other 2, 1 of whom is our backup GM for this very special.

I got off to a late start though so this is more on me than them.

I'm glad you had room for him. I had two people respond one right after the other, and I was bummed to have to turn him away.

Currently, it looks like Baerlie, Cwethan, Dennis, Fuzzfoot, Ladile, MichaelCullen, and Silbeg have fully reported tables.

Eddv has one player that hasn't reported yet, and Thrawn's situation is unknown at the moment. We're close enough now, that I care far more about results than methods. Simply fill up your tables and get people to report as you see best, and I'll take the heat if people get upset.

Nightdeath and TMBTC, please update the calendar (see Gameplay or top of the campaign) when you pick up tables. Also, mark on the calendar any times that you will be unavailable.

One of my players just messaged me saying their character is still locked in a game that's taking longer than anticipated to finish. Looking at their game, I don't think it will be done this weekend. Any suggestions for how to handle this? The only solutions I came up with were:

1) Make a new character (it is a level 1-2 table), which is not ideal
or
2) Get a new player, which is also not great.

Anyone else have a suggestion?

I'm going to try and stay up, then start the special right after midnight (UTC -4).

It ended up not being needed due to a combination of getting home earlier than expected + slow posting at my table today, but giving a shout out to The Man Behind the Curtain for watching my table for me today and being willing to jump in if needed :)

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I've got an Aid Token available if someone's table could use it.

Has anyone else had issues with Paizo down more than a bit Friday and Saturday? I had at least one GM in an unrelated game mention it too, but I had a lot of issues. So far so good today, but posting was rough the past two days with lots of eaten posts in games.

@Cwethan: It's probably best just to pass the token as quickly as possible, rather than waiting for a request. It might be days before somebody says yes, and the token could have been passed twice more during that time.

@Thrawn: Yes, the site was down for a prolonged stretch.

There was an error in the success tracker, but it has been fixed now. We are currently at 3 successes.

@GM Cwaethan, while my table is probably doing fine, if you still have it, we'll get it used and passed on.
