PNG?

I'm sorry that was in italian :D

I meant "NPC" :D

Anyway...

Ok for the "distortion in the system", but 3000gp? 5000? For an item that cast a single lvl 1 spell (CL1)?
To me it seems that while I was exaggerating on one side, you are exaggerating on the other side.

Anyway I solved that by asking to my GM to have the NPC cast that freaking spell (NPC caster level 3).

Pricing magic items is an art, not a science. Functionally one user really doesn't make more than 1 craft check per day, so this might as well be a permanent +5 bonus to any craft skill. So it should be priced as a +5 skill bonus item.

Maybe make a wand instead.

Can't make a wand, I need to give that item to a PNG with only crafting skill.

Hi, there's a discussion with my friends for creating a wondrous magic item that cast Crafter’s Fortune (1st level spell, CL1) once a day.

What's the cost of the item? As stated here Table-Estimating-Magic-Item-Gold-Piece-Values it's a Command Word item that has 1 charge per day.

So technically is (1 level spell x 1 caster level x 1800) / 5 = 360 gold.

Am I right?

It's a spell that give +5 luck to one single Craft roll.

Oh man, it's been a long wait, but I've finally broken ground on this class. Unlike my last guide, I want the community to be a bigger part of the creation of this guide, so I'm opening up discussion as early as the first words are written.

Hi N. Jolly, your guide is not available.

Could you share the previous full version even if not completed?

Thank you.

1. Yes. While the claw attacks are no longer natural attacks, they're still considered attacks that use claws and can benefit from Vicious Claws.

2. TL;DR: Figuring out attacks with one or more sets of claw blades isn't really any different than figuring out attacks with one or more short swords.

Once you're wearing claw blades, they are no longer natural attacks and no longer follow any of the natural attack rules--they work like any other manufactured weapon, and you can't use the natural claws of any hand that is being used to wield another weapon (in this case, the claw blades).

If you wear one set of claw blades for one hand, you can make your full iterative attacks with that hand and make one claw attack with your unbladed hand as a secondary attack (+15/+10/+5 with blades, +10 with natural claws).

If both hands are wearing claw blades, you'll just get the iterative attacks (+15/+10/+5), either all with one hand, all with the other hand, or any combination thereof. If you want more attacks with two sets of claw blades, see the Two-Weapon Fighting feat chain.

Perfect. Thank you for the plain and clear explanation.

Have a nice day sir :)

So, first question is "technically/RAW yes" and the second one is "yes but only if you use 1 claw blades in one "hand" for the 3 attacks and the other "hand" with natural claw for 1 secondary attack with -5 BAB"?

Hi all, I can't find a right answer for my question.

Catfolk with:
- Cat’s Claws racial trait
- Claw Blades item
- Vicious Claws rogue talent

Rules state:
- Vicious Claws (Ex): A catfolk with this talent uses d8s to roll sneak attack damage instead of d6s, but only when she uses her claws to make the sneak attack. A catfolk rogue must have the cat’s claws racial trait before taking this talent.
- Claw Blades: The blades grant the wearer a +1 enhancement bonus on claw attack rolls with that hand and change the weapon type from a natural weapon to a light slashing weapon. Catfolk with the cat’s claws racial trait are proficient with this weapon. The claw blades can be enhanced like a masterwork weapon for the normal costs. The listed cost of the item is for one set of five claws for one hand.

I don't see anywhere that the Rogue talent needs the Catfolk to use "natural" attack but only "her claws".
And the Claw Blades are always a claw attack that change the type from natural to light slashing weapon (both weapon and talent need only the Cat's Claw racial trait to be used).

So the first question is: can I use attack (and multiple attacks with BAB+6 and so on) with Claw Blades and threat all sneak attacks done with them as d8?

Next question: natural attacks can be secondary attacks. So at level 20 Rogue I can do 3 Claw Blades attacks with one hand with BAB +15/+10/+5 and 2 claw secondary attacks with BAB +10/+10? I think I'm missing something here...

Hi. During today's session I saw a nice thing with my 16th level sorceress.

I have Craft Wand feat. If I create a Wand of Glitter Dust with 12 rounds of duration (12th caster level) I have to pay:
2*12*375= 9.000gp

But I have Extended Spell metamagic feat. Creating the same Wand with that feat included and maintaining the same duration, I need the 6th caster level. So I have to pay:
3*6*375= 6.750gp

Am I wrong? Same duration, less cost.

And: the base DC is 5 + caster level. In the first example I have DC 17, in the second one I have DC 11.

Is that a cheat?

EDIT: the rules states that if the spell cast duration is more than 1 round, so the Wand activation will be.
And the question is also for wizards.

So even the Resist Energy spell that give 10 points, give the Endure Elements of the selected energy (fire = hot, cold = cold)?
And if I cast bot RE Fire and RE Cold I'm under full protection of the Endure Elements spell (as if I cast it on me)?

Hi, I'm new on the forum.

I have a question. If a creature have an Elemental Resistance (given by racial bonus, classes bonus, Resist Energy spell, etc) is automatically immune to all effect of that element (like the Endure Elements spell)?

For example: my Undine Sorcerer with Elemental Bloodline (Water) has now cold energy resistance 20 given by the bloodline. Am I protected from any cold effect (like low temperature) as I'm under effect of the Endure Element spell (only for cold environments)?

Thank you.
