Your welcome; did you get my PM by the way? My cohort by the way has the body of an adventuring athlete; strong and tough; with a good amount of coordination. She is as intelligent as Rirsa but is supernaturally observant; but likes her privacy... Of course she pays more attention to Rirsa than to anyone else, so that may have something to do with it.
DM Divinity wrote: Stats? Doesn't have to be totally finished, but I need a good idea of mechanical niche, and I need to see that you know how to fuse mechanical and flavor choices. I have a Mythweavers character sheet in 3.5 (a level higher; But It'll be a good base for converting); but it will take me a day or two to stat her out in Pathfinder. (Finding appropriate Archetypes for both her and her cohort might take a short while)
I am not certain if this is the forum- but it seems right... I recently lost a character that I enjoyed playing to bad luck and felt that I would celebrete what life he did have in a fictional world. This got me thinking of my subjected query; Do others honor the characters that they grow to enjoy in some way? If so; how? For me, I just keep my PC in a folder.

Yeah- it makes a fairly good case for a Stargate TTRPG IMHO... Edit: I've never had such problem in my home campaigns (I've never run a PFS game because my 20-pt buy games got a lot complaints simply because point-buy.)
I think it depends on the campaign; in my campaign world, Catfolk are prolific adventurers (they are fairly close to extinction- so they adventure to make themselves scarce. ) Though an adventuring Ogre or Gnoll needs called out on if you go by book assumptions. But adventurers are outliers by their very nature- so... to each their own; I say.

when I find others; its Rifts or homebrew (And most view Pathfinder as 3.x copy/ moneygrab)
When I DM I hate rolling 4d6 for stats; because I have to watch at least one player while at least three more pester me-- at an active gamestore, no less... point-buy is easier to confirm and is do-it-yourself. I hate when a player is more interested in a card game than my game... and runs off to play it; coming back four hours later like it was okay. I have never even played a adventure path before-- and I don't think I will. I dislike how gamers aren't prolific in my city; and I must take ranks in Craft(Gamer) to find some. On that note- Nobody plays Cleric or bards- dismissing them as "heal-bot"
EDIT: I dislike how many people dismiss Catfolk as either anime or heavily furred western creation so easily... mine are more like catfolk:Social Tigers::humans:monkies {sorry I haven't use that format since Middle School}
You know, I've never really run into that problem before, though I tend to study most groups carefully, and the groups I play with are usually quite mature, I suppose I am lucky so far, but how many people have actually seen a misogynistic (or even misanthropic!!) PC played out well? Edit: Perhaps some players think it would be interesting to play a character like that, and find out too late that they cannot handle it?
Ahh... small warriors, if all else fails, slice 'em where it 'urts! By the way; have considered a Rogue Archetype instead? There is more than one way to build a warrior, and with enough CON it is definitely possible etc(I actually had a Dwarf Rouge with a Warhammer in one of my parties, he teamed up with fighters and snuck the competition to its doom...) It could work in similar fashion... Just a suggestion,
Terquem wrote: This will not be a campaign, so the opportunity to recruit later won't be there. What character did you have in mind that would be perfect? I was thinking this... A hobgoblin Gunslinger who went rogue fron his tyrannical people and is trying to find s way to redeem them (he is chaotic good, ) he also has a lover who was assassinated by some of his kin. He misses her greatly, and may wish for her to return instead. He is level 8 right now, but the story is fairly solid.
Intriguing, too bad the wishes, backlash requires a PC c to still live, I actually have a character that would be perfect for this campaign... With only a little experience GMing; and agree with other suggestions, that the number of spots should be the highest you can handle, even if you accept, less than ideal numbers all you can always recruit more later.

Yeah, Mia's based on a switch hitter in an mmo that is no longer online, Master at arms... Hmm... Why don't I pick up Melee Training: Dex as well?(g if ph2 is still correct I would be adding my Dex mod to both my attack and Damage rolls? So that I could still fit the switch hitter role as envisioned?)
Talmonis wrote: If you're going to be slicing doors and terminals, you might want to consider a closer ranged blaster with heavy firepower, as you'll be up close in the action. A shotgun type, or repeater weapon perhaps. I think I remember seeing one somewhere. Scattergun (shotgun essentially-- I believe galaxy at War or Unknown Regions, it was the one with Zygerrians...) Don't know about the DEW equiv. but there is one-- Decksweeper, I believe it is called.

Hywel; your math is slightly off in the gameplay saction, an 8 is a -1 penalty, not a -2. just thought you should know. And I agree with Hywel; although Calas won't step in because he believes that the Orc is planning on doublecrossing them the moment he gets into a position of strength.
Kalgors "Boomslinger" Tesinarr
Alignment:
CG- Though kind, he hates governments becaude he believes they surpress creative individualism Appearence:
Male Hobgoblin standing at 6'0" (200 cm) and weighs about 220 lbs. (63.4 kg), he is covered in fire hardened scars. concept:
He is a Hobgoblin renegade on the run from the atrocities of his people. While running away he was captured by trolls and rescued by a group of adventurers, luckily, a paladin vouched for his continued survival. He then ventured with them for a time. He was a member of a Hobgoblin Special Forces Group... He ran away when he realized the creulty of his people. He loves people, especially ones that act with compassion in all they do. Even though he started with one group; he seems to have seperated from them for some reason. Aquaintances:
Herela Dersal- A promising student of Alchemy, she has provided many a life saving bullet for Boomslinger. Drelan Jiersayd- A young prince that Boomslinger's group rescued a few times; he still owes Boomslinger a favor. Erakur Vulsont- A Half-Orc outcast, jealous of Boomslingers acceptance. He is eager to show Boomslinger how accepting he can be. Secrets:
Boomslinger's last party met their end in a hobgoblin ambush, he slaughtered the assassins and buried his companions. He doesn't want people to know, or get hurt by his past, but fate keeps throwing him into saving the day. Unbeknownst to Boomslinger; the people responsible for his exile are actually using him as an unknowing scout, the plan to siphon his memories and use that intel to manipulate the political situation above. Goals:
It is Boomslinger's goal to change the way the surface views the lower dwelling races, he travels the realm; righting wrongs wherever he finds them. Every so often, Boomslinger thinks of his home, he doesn't desire vengence, but he wonders at night if his people are all evil, or if some can be redeemed. Signifigant events:
Boomslinger was tortured horribly when he initially rebelled against the practices of his kin, they delved into a ritual that cost him his vision, but it toughened his skin. The paladin that spared his life started a relationship with him, initially impressed by his resolve and dedication she found herself caring for him more and more. When his paladin lover died; Boomslinger lost himself in grief, and stopped travelling for a while. Repelling a recent assault by bandits in his quiet village home reminded him of his lost lover, and how she wouldn't want him moping around, he grabbed his gear and walked out of the quiet fiefdom of Kalnerayt and into the wild world beyond. How does he look?

Unfortunately, since all of Saga edition is WotC proprietary; there is no legal SRD for the system, but you might be able to find PDF's somewhere, if not, I'll help however I can. (I'm not completely sure if it is owned by WotC or not, but the basic premise is the same,- sorry if I seem rude, at all)
