Am I missing something? How does Psychic modify a power?
it provides a Will based save instead of a refex or fort save a power would normally provide.
Updated rules, new classes, a random alien pc generator, new art and psi section.

Yes HWM will have a lot of support materials starting in July we will be putting out a weekly issue of materials, as well as NPCs, adventures, etc.
We will also have stuff in our e-zine, Game Geek in support of HWM.
As for it being different then other D20 stuff, well they are all based on the OGL, but HWM is meant to be fully compatible with Pathfinder.

Avalon Games is in the process of working on a Pathfinder compatible super hero system. Heroes Weak Masks will be fully compatible system with Pathfinder, so if you are even passably familiar with this great game, then HWM will be no effort at all to jump into.
Avalon has reached the stage where we are looking for input on the system and its rules. Basically we want to make this the best game possible and so we of course are looking for the best gamers to have a look, kick the tires and tell us what we need to do, change and improve on so that you get the game you want.
With that in mind Avalon is opening the system up for review and comments, play testing and tinkering.

Avalon Games August Preview
Hi everyone! Well it's the time of the month when we showcase what is coming out soon. This month we have a lot of great games, so hold on to your hat.
First up we have the next installment of Airship. This fun game has been very popular and well received. If you have yet to try it, jump in! You'll have a blast of a good time.
From there we have some new Arcana goodies with the next Journal. In this issue we explore the Deep Southern Grass Sea and the nasty ruins of the Necromancer Kings.
We are continuing our updates to older products this month with new editions of Space Armada, Conjurer and Alien Incursions. We also have a new conversion of Once Upon a Time to both the OpenD6 and Pathfinder systems.
New art this month includes Hollywood Horror and Counter sets. We also have the latest Clip Art Character and Clip Art Collection, so there's bunches of images for you to find and use.
No month would be complete without new Avalon Pathfinder content. We have new Adventures, Encounters, Treasure and Magic issues for you, so get your Pathfinder game on with these inexpensive and easy to use supplements.
Speaking of great stuff, a new issue of Game Geek is here as well. It has a new spaghetti western character and other great goodies. Each issue grows in readership, so it might be time for you to hop on the bandwagon.
We also have a new How to book coming out this month and the first release of Chaos Trip Studio’s Altered Earth.

Hi, everyone! Here we are starting the summer of 2011, and its going to be a hot one I think. So stay cool and play a good game is what I advise. To help out in that quest for comfort, Avalon has a ton of new games for you.
First up we have more war in the skies with the second expansion for Airships. Take your steam punk wars into the clouds and have a blast while you play this great game.

We have two new journals for Arcana this month, with plenty more in the pipeline. This month we are also excited to present the first City Resource, Githmorgian.
Plenty of new Pathfinder stuff from us this month. In addition to four new Avalon Pathfinder issues we also have a conversion of our popular Markets and Merchandise into a Pathfinder edition.
The update crew has been working overtime, and this month we have revised editions for four of our older Mini-Games. Robot Jocks, Kung-Fu U, Food Fight and Alien Incursion all all get a makeover with new covers, new layout and edited rules. Great games and they're all fresh, clean and shiny.
Our paper model line brings out two expansions for the Fantasy House and Manor this month with new roof and floor tile and more to come. We have new art as well including character clip art and Heraldry Shields.

Avalon Games here with all sorts of great games and gaming stuff for you.
June has a new How-To book coming out. Continuing in our examination of the traditional character classes we look at how to play a great cleric. This book and others in the series look at ways you can use a standard class to create a great character, and do it with some fun and flare.
Our next Mini-Games series, Airships is here as well. This little gem is based on the Landships rule set, so it can be played alongside Landships or all by itself. Take to the skies with this great series of steam punk battles.
Infinite Aliens 5 will be out later this month. Ten more alien races to play and shoot with your ray guns.
Avalon Pathfinder with a new adventure, encounter, magic and treasure will hit this month.
Well, this is June, of course, and that means a new issue of Infinite Horizons is here. Great sci-fi stuff and its all free. In this issue we have all sorts of great stuff: IF gaming, a paper model by Fantasy Cutouts, comics, some incredible fiction and oh so much more. This has been a popular e-zine so far and we hope to continue to release issues every three months. So help us out and do your part - spread the word and post in forums. Tell’m all about Infinite Horizons and our other free e-zine, Game Geek. (Which is also out this month with great gobs of gaming goodies.)

Last but never least, our first Avalon Model should be coming out this month when we release our Fantasy House series. The first product will include a free download of the basic house followed a little later in the month with a full-blown version of the model. I have to say it was a lot of work getting this ready, but it was well worth the time and labor - this paper model looks great.

We are planning to start work on the second edition to IF this fall when the head writer gets done with grad school. So now is a good time to talk about what issues you think needs to be addressed and what you would like to see in the next edition.
With that in mind we are thinking that the second edition will be smaller in size, and dropping a lot of the repeated game mechanics that you can find in the core Pathfinder rules. This will allow us to then paste the Pathfinder logo back on the front cover and increase the game's presence. We will also be doing some new art, and offer a tigher edited product.
What else do you think should be done with the game. What changes are needed, what do you want to see, what do you hate, what can Avalon do to make this the game you want to play.

Avalon Games has new stuff on the way…
First up we have the next installment for the Road Rage game system - more cars and cards to add to the fun. Road Rage has been very popular, so if you have not checked it out yet, do so - it’ll blow you away.
Arcana is rolling along, and we have Journals #21 and #22 for you with more in-depth information on the world and the places that make it magical.
Infinite Futures has some great stuff coming out in April as well. There are more aliens with Infinite Aliens 3, and new rules for bringing magic into the game with Infinite Mysteries. Wait! How about a new setting as well? Yep, we have Department 13 coming out this month. What if the Nazi’s won the war, but did so using foul magic and evil rites? Nazi zombies you can blow up! What more fun can you ask for than that?
Our How-To book this month is on how to run a business in a game setting. Not all of your adventures need to be in deep, dark dungeons.
For Avalon Pathfinder we have four new issues this month - new adventures, encounters, magic and treasure to make your games more fun. We also have lots of Pathfinder stuff in the next issue of Game Geek, which is free from now on. Yep, all that gaming goodness and now it’s all yours for free.
Art is becoming a big part of Avalon’s catalog and we have lots of new art this month - Dark Elves 2, new starship counters, the first Clip Art collection and the first four Clip Art Characters.

Well February is the month of love and we have a lot of gaming love for you.
First up is a new Mini-Game series, Road Rage. Ok, not a lot of love in the title, but it’s a great game of car battles and driving madness. You are sure to have a blast.
Next we have more Arcana, with a new Journal. We are moving into the Deep South for the next couple of journals, so get ready to wade through the Grass Sea and battle undead and barbarians like.
There's more how-to stuff this month with How to Use Romance in your Game - another great addition to this popular series of gaming books. There's also more Infinite Futures. The Aliens are here with the Infinite Aliens series - a great system for generating all sorts of aliens to play and use as NPCs. We also have the first setting book out this month with Heritage, a wonderful Hard Science setting by one of our favorite writers, David Caffee.

Happy New Years everyone, Avalon is here to help you celebrate 2011 and we have a ton of games and goodies to get you started.
First up we have the release of Infinite Futures. Yep Sci-Fi at its best with this Pathfinder compatible system. Very detailed and open ended enough to allow you to run just about any sort of Sci-Fi game you want, Infinite Futures is going to be a big one, so get on board the train and have a great ride. To make things even better, we will be having a sale on this core book for month with $2.00 off the cover price, so that even more reason to get into this great game.
Next we have a new game, Leviathans. Steam powered war using a great game engine that allows you to build any sort of steam tank you want. Kit bash to your hearts content and then see how your creation does on the battlefield. A great tabletop game, you are sure to have a blast with this system
Game Geek is going strong and 2011 will see new features and columns in this great gaming e-zine. Great Art, great gaming stuff and cool fiction. What more can you ask for.

How to create a great villain comes out this month as well. Continuing with the how to series of gaming, we look at how to generate and play a great villain. After all, a hero is measured by their villains. And no game is complete without a really memorable bad guy.
Avalon Pathfinder this year will have two new additions to the series. Avalon Treasure and Avalon magic. More Pathfinder then you can swallow in one big bite, but what a meal it makes.

The end of the year is coming and Avalon is going out with a blast this time around. First up we have another great How To Book. This time around we have How to Make a Great Character. All the stuff you need to generate a memorable character and make the game even better.

Hi everyone, this is Rob from Avalon Games with the November preview of our upcoming releases. As always we have a ton of good gaming stuff for you, so we are sure you will see something worth spending your hard earned money on.
First up this month is our new How To Book - How to be a Great Player. Yeah, I know. You’re already a good player. But it never hurts to get a few more tips and tricks to make you a great player. Ask any GM what is the best part about running a game? They will tell you, it’s that one player who makes the session, the one player who makes it fun for everyone involved. You could be that player with these helpful hints! So have a look and become great.
From there let’s move to our new issue of Game Geek, which is packed full of gaming goodies. This is a must buy for all you Avalon addicts. We have more Arcana, of course, with the release of Journals #14 and #15. Both add new adventures and new wonders to this fabulous game world. Don’t tell anyone, but in November we will also be releasing Darkstone, a source book for the dwarven realm. So you might want to let that beard grow out and sharpen your axe with anticipation.
What? You demand more? Well then we have it for you: the second set for our Future Wars Mini-Game series. There are more troops and new factions as well as new tiles on which to wage war. This is a great game, so have fun with it and expand your horizons.
For the visually oriented this month we have the release of Black and White Mythos clip art, new counter sets and, of course, our ever popular design sets.
And finally, the preview wouldn’t be complete without more Avalon Pathfinder. We have a new adventure, a new encounter and a great new character. So get your game on with Pathfinder, one of our favorite games.

Hi, everyone, this is Avalon Games with our preview of upcoming products from your favorite little gaming company.
October has us releasing a lot of great stuff.
First up we have the next Tome of Adventure. This series is our first step into the 4th Ed market, and these have been some great adventures for that system. Bloodworm Bog offers a new campaign setting with lots of low-level adventure sites and plenty of fun encounters. So jump into the new D&D and find some wild adventures.
Speaking of great campaigns, our next how to book focuses on How to Make a Great Campaign. Chock full of information and tips for creating an engaging gaming environment for your players. This series of how to books has been very popular; both new and old GMs’ are finding it to be a real value and a useful addition to their gaming libraries.
Pathfinder is another great gaming system, and this month Avalon has three new installments for our every growing line of Avalon Pathfinder products. While each of the three can stand on its own merits, used together, the combination forms a fun-filled desert campaign. The Adventure issue is a rescue mission to save a young woman from her undead friend; the Encounter issue focuses on the Cult of the Dead; and the Character issue looks at our fair damsel, Pokh.
Moving on to our Mini-Game series we want to announce the release of Future Wars. With this gorgeous Mini-Game we take our Battle Armor universe and expand it into full fledged war. Now you can battle over whole planets and really get a taste of the Battle Armor setting.
For Arcana this month we have a new Journal and the next realms book: Ithengar. We’ll let you in on a secret - we have so much great stuff for Arcana that we are already hard at work on Journals for next year. So as long as you continue supporting this product line, we will continue working to keep it great.
The art department has not been idle this month – they have new Counters, new Clip Art and a new Design set.
And of course Game Geek is plugging away this month with all sorts of gaming goodness. Cover to cover this is a great issue, so pick up your copy right away.

In 2004 Bad Baby Productions began to produce small, fast, fun Print-to-Play board games, which we called Mini-Games. Fast-forward to 2010 and Bad Baby has become Avalon Games, but we have stayed committed to bring out every month a new Mini-Game. Board games, card games, dice games and more, covering all sorts of genres, from Fantasy, Sci-Fi and super heroes, Avalon Games is happy to announce the release of its 100th Mini-Game this month.
To celebrate this small milestone, Avalon Games will be doing several promotions. First off we are going all the way back to the first Mini-Game and take a new look at it in this 100th edition. Yep, Graveyard Dash will have a face-lift with a new map board and great new rules. To make it even better, this 100th Min-Game will be free, yep, free for everyone to have some great zombie fun.
In addition to all this great gaming fun, Avalon Games will be holding a 25% off sale for the whole month of September to celebrate its 100th Min-Game, so here is your chance to get all 100, and at a great low price.
Ok then what else will be coming out in September? Well more Arcana, with the release of Journal #12. Ok, here is a secret, so don’t tell anyone. We were going to kill off Arcana at the end of this year due to poor sales, but guess what, you started buying it all up so we have decided, just because you want it, to keep Arcana around. Yep we are already working on new journals for next year and new realms source books. We might even get out the long awaited southlands source book. That’s right folks, you want it so we will work extra hard to see that you get all the gaming satiation you want and need.
Humm, well then with so much good news, how about some more. Yep the next how to book will be out in September, How to Make a Great Dungeon. All you will need to know in the crafting of great, deadly dungeons. Of course we have more Game Geek for you, with great new stuff, wild stories and wonderful art.
On from there we have more Avalon Pathfinder with a golem adventure, Fey circles and an emperor of grand design.
Speaking of design, more design elements sets are out this coming month, as well as new clip art and counter sets, so get you hands on some great art at a great price.
A whole butt load of dice games hit this month as well as more Mini-Games. We figure if we are putting out the 100th Mini-Game why not put out a bunch more and make it a real party.
Some more 4th ed stuff this month with the next Tome of Adventure, a garden of dread waits those foolish enough to enter.

Infinite Futures is a greet system for running any type of Science Fiction game, be it Hard Sci-Fi to Manga and more. Well Avalon Games is on a roll this month with the release of a ton of great games.
First up we have the ever popular Game Geek, issue 8. A lot of fiction and good gaming stuff in this issue. We also have the release of new Steel and Glory set for the S&G system. Mounted combat hits the battlefield with this set.
Battle Axe this month has the rest of the Undead faction hitting the battlefield, with the Vampire, Wraith and other nasty undead creatures.
Last month we offered up a bunch of new RPG materials, but we are only now getting around to telling you all about them. Lots of OGL 3.5 gaming goodies as well as some Fudge stuff. We will also be offering our first 4th ed game, Morson’s Manor, a new line of 4th ed games which will fall under our Tomes of Adventure series.
This month also sees out first How to be book out, with How to be a Great GM. Packed full of information on the art of running a game, you can’t go wrong with this little gaming gem. For those that have signed up for our newsletter, which can be found on our web site, those fans are open to receive the Special Fan Edition of How to be a Great GM, packed with extra special stuff and goodies.
New art from Avalon this month includes counters, demons and design element sets, so get some good art for cheep.
Also this month we will be offering a special Kiva edition of our most popular game, Dark Dungeon. Avalon Games wants to be something more then just a game publisher; no we want to be a company with a soul. To that end we are a proud sponsor of Kiva (Kiva.org) where we can give a helping hand up to people in the world that can use a bit of help. All the profits form the sell of this special edition will go towards making small Kiva loans. So buy a great game and do something good in the world at the same time.

Avalon has all sorts of new stuff for June, loads and loads of new stuff. First up we have the next installment of Arcanina, with more magic, more map tiles and more creatures. This game has been very popular, so give it a try and see what your fellow gamers are all buzzing about.
Then we have the next issue of Game Geek. In celebration of George Romero’s newest zombie movie, this month’s issue is full of zombies. There’s a new version of that fun little game, Graveyard Dash, which includes some never before published information. Zombie art, zombie masters and just plain old zombie love. It’s a great issue, so have a peek.
On from there we have more Avalon Pathfinder with the release of three new issues: Avalon Adventures this month catalogs a nasty bird monster, while Encounter conjures a magic ring, and Character introduces a funky halfling. All are great fun, and good additions for your Pathfinder library.
Of course you need some art in your life, so we have new clip art, new counter sets and new design sets, all useful stuff to have laying around when you need some fast, cheap visuals.

May is another great month for Avalon Games, and we have a lot of new games for you. Fist up we have the second installment of our great Mini-Game series, Arcanina Set #2. Add more map tiles and monsters to this great game and have a whale of a good time.
On from there we have three new products in our Arcana Game World. Journals number six and seven look at two different areas of the game world. The southern realm of Ashmar and the Great Northwood. Don’t just think about adventure, live it in Arcana. Then we have the next realm source book, with the northern realm of Mulithor being showcased this month.
Want more, well we are starting a whole new faction for our Battle Axe game, the Dwarfs are on the roll and they mean to cut down their foes with axes and hammers. Be sure that if you love Battle Axe, then you have to get these new characters for the game.
Game Geek issue five will showcase the dark elves that everyone love, as well as great fiction, Pathfinder stuff and map tiles. It’s a must have issue.
Speaking of Pathfinder, we have three new Avalon Pathfinder issues this month, with the Tower of Zoon, the Sword Bearers and the Boastful Bard. All thee are great little gems of gaming goodness.
More Clip Art this month with super heroes, new counters with elves and eight new design sets for those in need of great, inexpensive art.

Avalon Games has all sorts of stuff coming out in the month of April, so get ready; it’s going to be a wild ride.
First up the April issue of Game Geek is here. More fiction, more RPG based materials and more great gaming fun. This is the best issue yet and we are getting better every month, so pick up an issue and join the fun.
Then we have more Mini-Game fun with a new series, Arcanina, a great game of magical summoning, war and strategy. The first in a series of three, this will be a great little game, so check it out.
Then on to more Arcana with the 5th Journal and a showcase of Hex 7 and the Dutch of Chirum. More is on the way with the release of the Shorenborg Realm source book, yet more information on the world of Arcana.
New starship products this month as well with new Starship counters and clip art. Then we will see the release of Avalon’s newest series of publishing products with eight different Design Elements sets. Each set comes with background templates and design elements to make a wide variety of page layouts and products. Why work so hard when Avalon Games has done it for you.
More, more, more with the release of more Battle Axe. The Wizard, Priest, Seer and Lord will add to the forces of the Bright Realms and bring even more magic and power to your Battle Axe games.
Avalon Pathfinder celebrates April fools this month with a new Adventure, Encounter and Character for your Pathfinder game. All three take a tongue in check look at the month’s foolish behavior with Avalon Adventure offering a Magical Mystery Tour with Pop feel. Then it’s on to two artifacts of grand power and the nasty Orc Number 1.
