"Bind him!" says Avalon dismissively, "He is just as likely to get help as he is to skip town."

Moving into range of the gnome, and seeing that nasty looking kukri, Avalon opens with his standard disabling combo.

Trip - Disarm Combo: (1d20+9=21, 1d20+10=20) (sorry add 4 to disarm due to size difference for a DC to resist of 24)

Trip- STR or DEX check: DC25; or Balance DC 35
Disarm- Attack roll: DC28

If you wish I can post all of my future combat tricks in this format so that paperwork is reduced on your side. All modifiers such as size modifiers and bonuses from my side have already been added as necessary.

Hmmm.. it seems there was a little confsion as to where everything was on my part. When I went to prise open the door, I thought that that was the door at 014/15. Was that door blocked at all? because that may seriously alter events of the last round or so.

Transferring his chain into one hand, Avalon will attempt to remove the boards from the office door.

Strength Check if needed: (1d20+4=13)

Avalon slides through to R12 and looks through the door. Using his Trip-Disarm routine on any apparent hostile targets inside that he can reach. If there are no apparent targets, he will move inside and forward until he has either got a target within reach or moved 30' whichever comes first. In the case of Avalon only moving, he will set himself for another readied incapactitation.

Trip and Disarm: (1d20+9=23, 1d20+10=16)

If the dog is still alive, Attack Roll: (1d20+6=13, 2d4+6=11)

Otherwise, Avalon takes a step towards the wand weilder and attempts to trip him. Trip Attempt: (1d20+9=18)
If the trip is successful, Avalon will use his free attack roll to attempt to disarm him of his wand.
Disarm Attempt: (1d20+10=25)

Spoiler:

In case the rules information is needed, here is the info for opposing trip and disarm.
Trip needs to be opposed by 1d20 + the better of his DEX or STR.
If I win, he is tripped and becomes prone. If he wins, he may make a trip attempt of his own if he can reach me.
Disarm needs to be opposed by 1d20 + melee attack bonus -4 for being prone, -4 for wand counting as a light weapon.
If I win, his wand is dropped and ends up on the ground in his square. If he wins, he may attempt a retaliatory disarm check.
Neither are attracting attacks of opportunity due to reach.

Avalon heads to P12 and readies an action to make a trip attempt at the first person to come through either door within his superior reach.

"A very good idea, safety for the kids is certainly better than insurance at this point."

Diplomacy Check: (1d20+1=20) - it would seem Avalon is good with the kids today.

Standing up and reaching into his tunic for a silvery butterfly holy symbol dangling on a chain around his neck, kisses it and returns it to its place. He can be heard to mumble, "May Desna guide our steps."

"Good lad. Lets make sure that none of these bastards get away. Now you kids when you go outside, I want you to find as many good size stones for throwing as you can get your hands on. If we fail to take Gaedren down, chances are he is going to be very hurt and very angry, but if you kids gang up on him, I very seriously doubt he will be able to use any of you kids ever again."

Stepping carefully into the room, Avalon winces slightly at the sheer number of children in the room before going to join the others.

Avalon looks relieved at the news... "Gods thats good news. lets get in there then shall we?"

"Are you able to open this lock? if not it might be an idea to break down the door. But we dont know what is actually in there."

If the boat is not easily reachable from the dock, then there is no need for me to interfere with it. I will simply take a quick peek around the corner in case there are any more doors that need to be taken care of.

Avalon's Rolls
Initiative Rolls: (1d20+2=22, 1d20+2=5, 1d20+2=20, 1d20+2=16, 1d20+2=21)

"Ok.. with that in mind, I am going to do something about that boat."

Avalon pads over to the boat, looses it from its moorings and gives it a gentle push so that it floats away from the docks.

Coming back to the double doors, he murmurs "That ought to give someone trying to sneak out that way a nasty shock."

Murmuring so that he cannot easily be overhear from inside, "Shall we set up one or 2 of us up front then in case they try to make an escape? I might be a good choice there as I specialize in incapacitation and immobilization techniques."

Perception 10-1 = 9
Move Silent 10+2 = 12

"If we seek justice tonight, then it will most likely end up being of the more swift and brutal kind. While I think that this bastard is one who imminently deserves this fate, I beleive we should take a few precautions as well." Avalon sits deep in thought for a moment before continuing.
"For one thing, I think it might be wise of you to make yourself scarce for a couple of days. If even a hint of what is happening gets out, chances are one of the first things that Lamm will do is to have you killed."

"It is indeed a sad day when the law fails the people. I will do whatever I can to assist in taking down this scoundrel!"

"my own card was The Big Sky, although whether this is a good or bad thing I do not know myslef."

Claiming a cup for himself, Avalon nods his agreement and settles back to wait.

Frasides Francol wrote:

"You and me both, neighbor." He offers his hand as gesture of salutation, adding, "Name's Frasides. And I guess we'll both find out soon enough what's going on, eh?"

Gripping the proffered hand and looking Frasides in the eye, "I'm Avalon, and I get the feeling we'll be greeting others soon too." As he says this last, he flicks his eye's over Fraside's shoulder

While the watchers talk, and the sun nears the horizon, two more distinctive figures come along Lancet Street, both walking determinedly. One is an elf, armed with longsword and bow; the other is a young human, wearing chainmail and carrying a glaive -- less surprising when you see Shelyn's bird symbol on a pendant.

With a chuckle, Avalon murmurs "A Shelynite and a woodsman of the old style, this could be fun!"

Avalon raises his eyebrows for a moment before sighing and pulling a Harrow card from his belt pouch. "Why is this feeling more and more like some kind of setup the later in the day it gets?"

"I'm just having a wander around to while away the time. I have an appointment to keep with the owner of number 3. Not that it would be any of your business."

Spoiler:
Silently cursing this gluttons lying tongue, Avalon stands and thanks the man for his time. A short while later, Avalon walks down Lancet street to get a look at number 3, before having a look around the local neighborhood for the next couple of hours while waiting for sunset.

Well here is the basics of my fighter done, decided to go the route of combat 'tech' guy aimed squarely at Holy Liberator
