About Astin Modeo
Astin is the youngest son of the Modeo family. He was intentionally named in a way that would make his full name sound similar to "Asmodeus" by his father, a mid-level clergyman of that church. He has brothers involved in politics and the church, so Astin is free to pursue more secular power. He is devoted to his family and Cheliax, but he does not hold a place of any particular pride with either. He therefore has pushed himself very hard to excel, frequently dissatisfied with anything short of perfection (much like his father).
