I see. Thank you very much; I got confused, as I wasn't sure if "strength" counted as a skill, or not, or how to tell when a skill was "required" or "optional".

Thank you. So er.. in that first one, I can pick to use strength, strength + melee, wisdom, or wisdom + divine?

Well, I got the game, have been playing solo a bit to try it. I am having a bit of issue, though, involving understanding skill checks. Perhaps i missed a portion in the rulebook, but something is confusing me.

How do I know if a Acquire/Defeat/Check REQUIRES a skill? How do I tell if it requires multiple checks? There's no picture examples, from what I saw.

I've seen cards that have like.. (As example, only):
Strength
Melee
Wisdom
Divine
(7)

-

Does that mean I can use strength or melee or wisdom or divine?

If I have neither divine, or melee, do I need to do d4, or can I pick between strength/wisdom?

Another Example:
Wisdom
Divine
(8)

-

Does this require me to have divine skill, or does that mean I just get a bonus if I have it?

Another:
Wisdom
Divine
(3)
||OR||
Strength
Melee
(7)

Does this imply I need one or the other? Do I need divine/melee, or do I just get bonuses?

-

Another:
"Perform a Disable (3) Check. If you fail, you take 1d4 Combat Damage."

I assume something like that REQUIRES disable?

Finally, I seem to have read (but not seen) ones that require "multiple" checks, apparently. Is that one of the above ones, or is it like the "or" one, but with "and"?
