Arnold, when he was younger, live with his family and worked in the family business. Gorman and Family Interstellar repair. Arnold, being the youngest of 3, always got he smaller work space, small Jeffres tubs and other inner workings of a ship. Arnold, growing up repairing these start ships, always wanted to fly in one and see the galaxy.
So, when he got older, he signed on with a trading company as an engineer.
He worked on a Star Ship in Space, and not on some station.
He had had his fair share of Scrapes in space. He had to deal with a few pirates, had participated in some bar fights and back ally brawls, even got his arm blown off by an exploding conduit in an ion storm (it was replaced).
Latter, he went to visit a friend after putting in his resignation, He retired from the Trading corps.
He bought a small ship and set out to meet up with this old friend.
