Wayfinders Tier 3
First Contact Step-In - Social Boon
When an ally fails a skill check during a first contact situation—specifically when encountering a previously undiscovered species—you can spend 1 Resolve Point to immediately attempt the same skill check. If the result of your skill check is greater than your ally’s failed attempt, use your result to determine the outcome. You can use this ability on any skill check so long as it relates to a first contact encounter.

A common example would be using skills like Diplomacy or Intimidate on a newly encountered race, but attempting a Computers check to learn from an alien network about a new species would also be appropriate. Exactly when this boon can be used is up to the GM’s discretion.

Mobile Translator - Slotless Boon
You acquire a Tetrad certified translator as if you had purchased it, but you do not need to expend any credits.

Living Translator - Ally Boon
You bring along a noncombatant translator skilled in several languages. In addition to Common, the translator knows a number of languages equal to your current Reputation Tier with the Wayfinders faction + 1. When you purchase this boon, you must select the languages known by the translator. These can be any languages listed on page 41 of the Starfinder Core Rulebook or any unique language you’ve encountered in a previous scenario.
< 1 > Aklo
< 2 > Shadowtongue
< 3 > Vesk
< 4 > Infernal

When your Reputation Tier increases, you can add an additional language to those known by your translator.

Wayfinders Champion - Faction Boon
Once per adventure when you succeed at a Diplomacy or Survival skill check that is written into the adventure, you recover 1 Resolve Point, up to your Resolve Point total.

Ardamys Log:

- Into the Unknown -
When a mysterious visitor comes to Absalom Station selling items belonging to a lost Starfinder, the Starfinder Society takes note. The PCs are dispatched to discover out how the recent arrival found these items, leading them on a series of quests beyond the Pact Worlds and into the stars.

- Dead Suns -
Incident at Absalom Station
When a brutal gang war breaks out on a docking bay in Absalom Station, the player characters are recruited by the Starfinder Society to investigate the unexpected bloodshed. Delving into the station’s seedy Spike neighborhoods, the heroes confront the gangs and discover that both were paid to start the riot and that the true conflict is between two rival mining companies battling over a new arrival in orbit around the station: a mysteriously deserted ship and the strange asteroid it recovered from the Drift. To head off further violence, the heroes are asked to investigate the ship and discover what happened to its crew, as well as the nature of the asteroid it tows. But what the players find there will set in motion events that could threaten the entirety of the Pact Worlds and change the face of the galaxy forever...

- Dreaming of the Future -
The Starfinder Society pursues the dream visions of a Liavaran dreamer, seeking information lost in a time before the Gap. Three broken fragments form the key to a forgotten repository of knowledge hidden within the Pact Worlds. It's up to the PCs to find these missing fragments and brave the dangerous reliquary to secure a new source of prescient knowledge for the Society.

- The Commencement -
All Starfinders complete their training by conferring with Guidance—a network of uploaded personalities embodying paragons from the Starfinder Society's history. Before receiving the blessing of Guidance, the PCs must meet with and assist critical missions on behalf of key leaders of the Society's leading factions. With the events of the Scoured Stars Incident still fresh in everyone's memory, there's plenty that needs doing to set the Society back on track.

- Acts of Association -
One of the Society's foremost diplomats is just about to sign a major deal with a visiting alien species. Before the documents can be finalized, the visiting dignitary requests a tour of the station. In order to preserve the Society's negotiations and good standing with this species, the PCs must escort this dignitary across the station and avoid any diplomatic incidents.

- The First Mandate -
With a new generation of Starfinders already accomplishing great deeds within the Pact Worlds and beyond, First Seeker Luwazi Elsebo is ready to announce the Starfinder Society's next initiative that will define her tenure. The PCs attend a gathering at the Lorespire Complex to socialize with several visiting dignitaries, each instrumental in the Society's survival following the Scoured Stars Incident. Nothing is as it seems, though, and when Radaszam, leader of the Acquisitives faction, uncovers a plot against the First Seeker, the PCs need to step in and ensure the Society's public event doesn't end in disaster!

- Against the Aeon Throne -
Part 2: Escape from the Prison Moon Earned: 4380 + 18 Cr
Deputized by the interstellar police force known as the Stewards after freeing a colony from Azlanti occupation, the heroes journey to the Azlanti Star Empire to rescue their friend who is being held captive on a well-guarded prison moon. After visiting an outlaw space station nearby, the heroes stage a daring breakout under the nose of the penal colony's warden. But the experimental starship drive is still out there, and the heroes must track it down to prevent the Azlanti from making it operational!

- Year of the Data Scourge - Earned: 1090 Cr
As they return home from a successful mission, a team of Starfinders are caught in the chaos of an ongoing digital attack on Absalom Station. Can the PCs battle their way through malfunctioning technology, hostile robots, and panicked crowds to help defend headquarters, or will the Society's most important digital assets be corrupted by the Data Scourge?

- Frozen Ambitions: Renewal's Blight - Earned: 2772 + 39 Cr
As the Starfinder Society investigates mercenary laboratories producing an unstable combat-enhancing drug, the latest lead takes an experienced team to the arboreal ghoran homeworld, Ghorus Prime. The Starfinder agents must discover who is funding these dangerous experiments while investigating a growing blight on the forested planet—and determine if these events are connected.

- Waking the Past - Earned: 2819 + 14 Cr
Summoned to investigate a new, exciting find near a frontier AbadarCorp colony, a group of Starfinder Society agents finds themselves exploring deep below the surface to inspect a recently uncovered set of ruins. However, they're not alone. The PCs soon discover not only that something is waking up, but also that there are some secrets best left undisturbed.

- Secrets in Stillness - Earned: 4084 + 52 Cr
After the tragic loss of one of his proteges, Radaszam the Dealmaker calls in a favor from some of his most trustworthy contacts. The Starfinders travel to Idari, the kasathan worldship, to investigate the mysterious death. There, the Starfinders follow a bloody trail left by a clever killer and, if they aren’t careful, risk becoming this enigmatic predator’s next prey.

- Truth Keepers - Earned: 4085 + 52 Cr

- Into the Veskarium - Earned: 3268 + 30 Cr
The Veskarium, a stellar civilization of conquest founded by the vesk, has long been an enemy of the Pact Worlds. When the Swarm threat unexpectedly attacked both civilizations, the Pact Worlds and Veskarium formed an uneasy alliance to combat their mutual foe. Since then, the two empires have maintained semi-cordial relations, and the worlds of the Veskarium have seen a larger influx of visitors from the Pact Worlds. Of all the organizations to benefit from the warmer relations between the two powers, none are perhaps more interested in exploring the Veskarium than the Starfinder Society. Thanks to the Society’s recent successes, the Veskarium has finally agreed to allow select teams of Starfinder agents to travel into the Veskarium and perform missions of archaeological investigation and exploration.
