Zeke has lived in Korvosa his entire life (Truth's Agent trait). He used to adventure, but for the last several years has been running a weapons shop (Master Tinker racial trait). During the riots, Zeke's shop/home was burned/looted, so he's been without a place to live. He was staying at the same Inn as Dylan and the others and found out through the innkeeper that their room and board was covered by the Guard, so Zeke decided he'd sign up with the Guard to start earning a living again and to help restore order.
