Erasmus was first born the day the Starfall occurred, its destruction a constant reminder to him of the wages of pride and hedonism.
His family succumbed to the extreme climate shift, their farmland ruined by the toxic ash. Erasmus only survived through sheer force of will, determined to live he foraged what little he could and eked out a life in the wastes.
As hours turned to weeks, and weeks to years, Erasmus began to revere nature for prividing him with the little he managed to scrounge. This reverence was rewarded for when he died at long last, Erasmus was reborn into a younger version of himself. Nature hd gifted him with reincarnation and he was more than pleased.
While visiting Golarion during the Age of Darkness, Solivagus came upon a verdant grove that seemed to seethe with life in defiance of the blasted terrain around it. The demi-god was barred entry and greeted by a doddering old man in wimple white robes.
The man claimed that Solivagus was an abomination and that the forest only recognized natural life. This sentiment resonated with Solivagus, a being who hated such close-minded notions. Gripping the old man by his forehead, Solivagus imparted his collective knowledge into Erasmus' mind.
The old man died instantly, the load of information too great for his worn out body. Reincarnated after a few minutes, the newly alive Erasmus gasped as the knowledge flooded back. As it all settled inside his mind, Erasmus bent a knee to Solivagus and pledged his loyalty and life to the cause. No one knows for sure what Erasmus saw but it's impact has reshaped Erasmus' mind utterly...
