How about Hollow's Last Hope? I am pretty new to pathfinder so I don't know any of the modules but the web summary sounds fun!
Male Half-Orc Cleric 1 (HP 10/10 | AC:18 | T:14 | FF:14 | CMB: 4 | CMD:18 | Fort:+4 | Ref:+1 | Will:+4 | Init:+1 | Perc: +3 | Speed 20) Background:
Kaurak Custos was born and raised in a Half-orc farming commune on the edge of the Greenbelt. The farm was a haven from the discrimination normally experienced by half-orcs, even in a diverse land like Brevoy. Any half-orc who happened upon the commune was welcome to join but but only those few half-orcs who could tolerate the strict rules and nearly monastic order stayed for more than a few weeks. Kaurak’s parents joined the commune long before he was born so the structured life was all that he knew. Religion had no place in the commune. Not that it was banned; it was just ignored by the members. The commune was led by a council of elders and any religious zeal tended to be channeled into dedication to the community. So when Kaurak started to be drawn to a site deep in the surrounding forest at first people thought he was just being lazy and dodging his chores (a serious offence). It turns out the commune was only a few miles from a long abandoned shrine of Erastil. Kaurak had not be spending his time napping in the shade of the forest. He had been clearing the shrine of over growth, rebuilding the roof, and praying at the alter. It wasn’t until Kaurak was able to heal one of his cousins after an accident with a plow shattered his leg that Kaurak’s time away from the fields was really tolerated. Even so it was clear that Kaurak was not destined to stay with the commune. After several years of work on the shrine, largely done of his free days and at night it was fully restored. During an evening of prayer Kaurak received a vision from Erastil calling him to restore more of the lost shrines. At first Kaurak did not know how to go about doing that knowing that without a community interested maintaining it no shrine would last long. Then one of the merchants who traded with the commune came with news that the Sword lords were assembling expeditions to settle the Greenbelt. Kaurak knew at once that he had to be part of that expedition. When he announced the plan the elders supported his decision. Kaurak had not been particularly evangelical but they felt his work on the shire was a distraction for the community. They equipped him and gave him one of the plow horses and sent him with the merchant to sign up with the Sword lords. Description:
Kaurak is a tall broad half-orc with grey skin and black hair. His prominent tusks seem out of place on a face that seems to be perpetually smiling. Corvus smiles as he fills out his application. It is so nice to not be the strangest thing in the room. Heading to the city was certainly the right choice. He finishes up the application with his first ale. The paperwork complete he puts away his ink and pen before heading to the bar. He is pleased the cat has decided she was more interested in the centaur. It seem somehow . . . Risky . . . For anything with wings to make friends with a cat. Even so it seemed likely some of these people would end up companions in the watch so he headed over to the crowed. I guess word that he watch was recruiting really got out. My name is Corvus. It seems we may end up working together. What has brought you to the city.
A dark shadow drifts down from a roof top settling in front of the sign. 10 foot wings fold up behind the dark shape as the Strix pulls a cloak up over his folded wings making him look much bulkier than he is. Taking an application from the box he turns towards the tavern his head twisting back and forth as he watches both directions on the street. Glancing after the centaur, Hopefully the magistrate’s referral will carry some weight with the City Watch. At least I won’t be the only non-human to apply. Heading into the tavern Corvus walks to the proprietor and orders ale before taking a seat at an empty table. As he walks across the room he nods to his fellow applicants. Once seated he reaches into his backpack and takes out a neatly wrapped package containing a notebook, letter, pen, and ink jar which he sets out on the table along with the application. As he waits for the ale to be brought over he begins filling out the form glancing at the letter from time to time as he does.

I am putting together a Cleric of Erastil. Are the feather(animal) and growth(Plant) domains ok? Also does the horse from the Pioneer trait come with a bit/bridle/saddle/saddlebags or do I need to buy those from starting gold? ( I am also assuming a light horse) I will include a full version with the crunch but the cleric will be focused on recovering the lost temples of Erastil knowing the only long term way to do that is to resettle the area.

Corvus’s was born deep in the Barrow Wood in one of his peoples last permanent settlements. They had been driven away from their lands so long ago by the Cheliax Empire that they had forgotten the Strix even existed. Corvus’s time in the settlement was short however when the tendons in his wings failed to stretch properly at puberty. His limited flight capability meant he could not learn to hunt or train with the war parties. After a year of desperately trying to fully extend his wings the village elders met and decided he was a burden on the village and must be executed. The secret of their existence must be kept so exile was not an option. When Corvus’s father learned of the sentence he spirited him out of the village to the edge of Strix lands. There he plucked Corvus’s Pinion feathers and left him alone and un-skilled to fend for himself. It was a hard choice but the only one his father had to return to convince the rest of the elders he had taken his son out for a merciful killing without the fear or anticipation that a public execution would have entailed. After walking for days living off the land as he went Corvus was stumbled out of the forest and onto a trade rode. There he had the misfortune to meet the caravan of Cheliax slavers. He was quickly captured and sold as a novelty at auction. It was during his life as a slave that Corvus learned most of his skills. He was taken in by a family of halflings who taught him how to stay out of sight when the masters were looking for a whipping boy and how to break into the pantry when food was scarce. They also taught him how to speak with both other slaves and the masters. Corvus showed a natural talent for it and was soon assigned to work as a house slave where his novel appearance and honey tongue were but to good use. After a life of freedom in the woods the two years Corvus spent as a slave were very hard. He could not adapt. It was on his fifteenth escape attempt that he finally got away for good. Each time he learn something about how to elude capture. In the end it was not his skill that helped him get away but the regrowth of his pinion feathers. Having been unable to fly from the moment he had been found or on any of his first 14 escape attempts his masters thought him unable to do more than glide. Once his feathers grew back Corvus escaped by air and fled across the Cheliax border hiding during the day and flying at night to elude patrols. Across the border Corvus found refuge with a local magistrate who despised slavery and took pitty on the strange teenager and let him sleep in the barn for “just one night” in exchange for some work around his farm. That one night stretched into several years and a deep friendship. The magistrate was often called upon to track down criminals and eventually taught Corvus what he knew. Even sheltered by the magistrate life was hard in the nearly 100% human town and Corvus hardly made things easier on himself as it was hard to suppress the hatred from his early upbringing and life as a slave. Eventually the magistrate suggested he travel to Absalom thinking that in a city that saze Corvus’s differences may not stand out. Armed with a clean set of cloths and a letter of introduction and little else Corvus set out. Corvus joined the city watch almost immediately upon his arrival and has worked to maintain order and track down the criminals of the city ever since.

Background & Description:
Tiberu did not start his life in hardship or on the streets. He had quite a pleasant childhood as the son of one of Sandpoint’s middling merchants. What he did start his life with (at least as far back as he can remember) is a passion for the stories of the Pathfinder Chronicles. His father had somehow picked up a copy of one of the Chronicles and read little else once he learned to read and would listen to little else before. He parents indulged his ardor even going as far as hiring tutors to provide him training in a variety of skills that a member of the pathfinder society might need. One of these trainers was Shalelu Andosana who taught him not only how to stay hidden but also much about the surrounding geography and how to survive in the wilds. Many individuals with Tibru’s skills use them for a variety of crimial enterprises Tibru however has never been tempted by that option. Instead he dreams of exploring old temple ruins and uncovering lost secrets. One day perhaps he will journey to Absolom and present his findings to the society. Tiberu is young and over eager. He is as likely to charge into a situation as ponder the consequences of such an action. He will jump at any opportunity to scout ahead or even better be the first to check inside a ruin for potential traps. Tiberu keeps a detailed journal of his adventures which he plans to compile once he returns home to a chronicle all his own. Tiberu stands just under 6 feet tall with a lithe build, dark skin, dark hair and a bright smile. His gear seems to be just a bit too unblemished to have seen real use though he clearly knows how to use it all. Most is tightly packed into his backpack ready to be dropped or re-acquired quickly. Shalelu’s training has made sure that key survival gear are kept in pockets instead in case the worst should occur.

I have made the corrections on my traits (swapping Focused Mind for Boarded in Shackles). It really only affected the crunch but I included all details below for reference. Background:
Drake started his life in the back of a merchant’s wagon. His parents were peddlers who traveled the world gathering and trading curios, trinkets, pots, pans, needles, and whatever else the people they met along the way needed or sold. Drake spent most of the travel time making wooden toys and statues he sold with the family trade at each stop. He was particularly fond of one fox design he had made that sold quite briskly to the village children. It was an exciting life marked but several close calls as the family fought off raiders who thought the peddler’s wagon would be an easy target. When they discovered that Drake’s father was a more than competent swordsman and his mother a sorceress they usually moved on looking for easier prey. On one occasion when Drake was about 14 a group of hobgoblin did not take the hint and he battle was not going well until Drake’s psionic powers first showed themselves. He manifested an astral construct behind the hobgoblin lines reminiscent of the wooden fox he had been working on before the attack began. Thinking they had been outflanked and support for the peddlers had arrived he Hobgoblins retreated. At first Drake’s mother thought her son’s powers were evidence that he had inherited some of her magic blood. After a frustrating year of trying to teach her son she realized his “magic” was something else entirely. It took another 3 years before she was able to track down a suitable mentor for Drake. Well perhaps suitable was a stretch. The unpleasant hermit was the only person who seemed to know anything about the psionic abilities that Drake manifested. It was with great reluctance that Drake left the wagon to study with the hermit whose training was hard and emotionless, though not cruel. 4 more years had passed before Drake’s training was complete. By that time he had lost contact with his parents and he was anxious to track them down. He set out following the very old trail his parents had left. The last remnant of news he was able to dig up seemed to indicate they had headed to Eleder. Hoping to catch up Drake booked passage on the Jenivere.
Description:
Drake is tall and lanky with red-brown hair cut short against his head. He wears worn-in clothing suitable for a long journey with a large wide brimmed hat and a neatly packed backpack. A light crossbow hangs from his side opposite a long knife. A crystal pendent around his neck seems to give a faint pulsing glow and move of its own accord as if getting comfortable whenever Drake settles into a new position. Drake is well traveled and used to being on his own. Having spent little time living in large societies he doesn't feel a need to go out of his way to help others he doesn’t know personally. He does however have great loyalty for his friends as he knows they count on him and he on them when times get tough. Drake does have a dislike for brigands and thieves so may step in to help a stranger if it means thwarting a robbery.

I have to freshen up on PFS rules but I am interested in a applying. I was going to say a human fighter but given the current make up I think a cleric or a bard might be a better fit in the group. I will post later this morning once I have details from what I have read so far a Bard might be just the thing.
I have put together the Lycanthrope/Cleric 2. I still need to work up a back story but am thinking along the lines of a distant relation to Kathandrax. He is young overzealous and desperate to prove himself to his namesake. Here is a link to Drax Adaaryn. I will add him to an Alias if he gets selected. I will still need to pick one campaign or the other as I have a submission on the Aeon side as well.
I am interested. I am thinking of a Goliath psychic warrior. I have a feral path premis worked up but I wasn't sure if it would fit. I wasn't clear if we would be facing urban challenges or exploring beyond the walls to deal with the horde. I am willing to put something new together if that is what is needed. Full disclosure I haven't played PBP game before but am interested in giving it a whirl. Guidance on protocol etc. will be appreciated if there is room for me. |
