I'm back! Let's go back to sneaking around when we've already been caught!

Several times even! We are possibly the least stealthy people ever...

Arielle and LK raced for the omniportal, quickly coming to the line which was moving quickly.

:Okay, you step through just before me. I'll pretend to chase you. You're going to want to go to the left and then the third door on the right will take you to some stairs going down. Just follow them as far as you can. We should be far enough past people by then that I can lead the way the rest of the way there.:

Anvaris hears a commotion coming from the street to his right, and people making an opening for whatever is causing it. He sidesteps into the covered doorway of a storefront as the two teenagers careen past him toward the Omniportal plaza.

"Poor guy," he says to himself as the spectacle (and the thunder) passes. ;P

Another flash of the Omniportal coming to life heralds the arrival of a bunch of drunken party goers returning from a raucous night at Club Calistria. At the back of the group, Anvaris quickly looks around to get his bearings, then hops off the platform into the river of bodies that flows through the Bazaar at all hours.

After following the flow of the crowd for a few minutes, he ducks down a side street to swallow another potion.

"Right then...let's see what we've got to work with here," he mutters to himself as the pain finally subsides from his (now not so) battered body. He pushes off of the wall and continues on...

Carefully maneuvering his way around through the crowd, he manages to catch the tail-end of a group leaving the Club. He quickly goes through before the Omniportal closes.

Having made the dunes and gotten out of direct sight, he relaxed his guard a bit and focused on getting out of here - wherever 'here' was. While the sounds and lights coming from over the next set of dunes would indicate a big group of beings, it would also (hopefully) give a way to disappear while he looked for an exit that didn't involve swimming out to sea...

He pulled out a cowled vest from his pack and put it on, wincing a bit at the movements required. Pulling the cowl up to hide his tattooed face, he peeked over the last dune at the sprawling party around the Club. After a few moments, he spied the Omniportal, and the throngs of people around it.

"Damn it..." he muttered under his breath as he quaffed another potion, then made his way around to the gate's location.

After backing up about a hundred feet, he turns and starts to make his way toward the dunes further down the beach. He clutches his chest as the pain from his 'arrival' creeps back in.

"Another fine day. Damn it..." he mutters as he pulls a potion from his belt and quickly chugs its contents as he reaches the dunes.

"Okay, Anvaris, if that's the way you want to play it....goblin on your ten....nice meeting you," she added sarcastically, starting to back away, never turning her back on him.

She would have been tempted to help him, but she could feel the presence of the girl child she had been asked to help. A child of near the same age as her wretched sister's eldest brat. Just the sort of bait she needed for a trap that had already taken years to set up. Ah well. Life is full of choices.

"You're the one firing off the threatening hospitality, not me. But you probably think I'm hornin' in on your hunting grounds, so whatever..." he shoots back pointedly, sparing a glance toward the treeline as he continues to put distance between the two of them.

"Yes, those sudden dislocations can be a bit...startling. Just so you know, we have a bit of an audience," she said, her eyes darting back towards the trees, though she didn't move her head otherwise.

"Look, I don't know who or what you are, but I'm guessing you're on about your last legs. So if we could move on with the introductions? I'd like to have some idea if I should be helping you or just helping you leave faster."

"...Anvaris. And I can leave on my own just fine lady, thanks anyway," he replies as he begins to back away down the beach.

"Nice to see you decided to rejoin the land of the living," she said, sweetly. "You had me worried there for a minute. Interesting tats."

She put her hands up, palms out in a gesture intended to convince him that she was harmless. She hadn't decided what to do about him yet. That would depend in part on what he did next.

He man moves to the side, getting his back away from the surf. He doesn't take his eyes off of Rowan. His movement is deliberate, though just the tiniest bit shaky.

"I'm Rowan. And you are?"

"...Not...where I...was. Damn it..." he responds after a moment.
