Firdall smiles and pats Salvator on the head.

"Ahh now there is a true emotion worthy of capturing in a painting."

"Well what's done is done, and it looks like you have volunteers to help see what can be done." Firdall says, pointing at the rest of the group.

" of course, I'll help too, I could never resist a bit of mischief.

So, let's be about it then." Firdall hands the sandwich to Salvator then checks out and searches the small room to the north (on map, unless we already searched there.

"Neolandus? You mean the King's Seneschal? I thought he was dead or imprisoned. What was he doing with you?

I don't mind dropping by the the Arcona Mansion and see what we can find Neolandus and Vencarlo if the rest of you are up for it. Sal, do you want come with, or we can find you somewhere safe to hide out until we come back?"

Firdall shifts again then responds, gesturing to himself,

"If nothing else, my friend my have a few ideas. We can find him and ask him if we can't think of anything else.."

Looking at Salvadore. Firdall thinks for a minute, then rummages in his pack, producing a slightly squished, but still fresh sandwich wrapped in a cloth napkin, and a bottle of rum, which he offers to Salvadore.

"Here, have a swig and something to eat. When we are done, we'll get you a bath and a change of clothes, maybe from your place, if it is still standing."

"In the mean time, we should probably pack. Sal, anything here you want to take with you? We can get your older paintings on the way out"

"Oh its not a trophy or anything, I just think it will help for grand entrances...
and of course, practical jokes!
You do make a good point about being on MY head. The assassins are hunting him, but Amin probably wouldn't see the humor in more attention."

hmm, how about this?"

Amin starts to haggle as they go down the stairs and prepare to enter the street. He pulls out the money pouch and hands, Tiadora 13 Platinum coins.

"There's lunch and your half of the coin. Now to divvy the rest. The mask is wonderful, so I'd like that and at least one of the Sabers to go with it, although they do seem hard to use. I wonder if the other assassins will keep coming to get them back? Anyway, that would gives you the armor, the cloak, and the potions. Do you want the other Saber too?

Once they reach the street, Amin suddenly stops and says, "I almost forgot! Wait here, just a second" He then runs into the building across the street, where he originally appeared. Almost immediately, he runs back, without the extra lunch he was carrying.

"So can I keep the mask? I can do such glorious things with that."

"Sure, well if I have a few minutes, then sandwiches AND check out the ruckus."

Amin goes downstairs to the kitchen and tries to quickly throw together three lunches. If there is enough food, he then takes the odd Platinum coin from the Assassin's purse and hides it somewhere where Vencarlo would find it if he ever came back and used the kitchen.

He then wraps one of the lunches in a cloth with a quick note

note:
Amin, be back soon, have lunch while you wait

Then meets back up with Tiadora. Handing her a lunch (if there was any food),
"So what do they do?"

[After a quick check of the house, Amin ends up back upstairs]

"Wow, this guy had a lot of toys."

Spellcraft: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (12) + 6 = 18 Try to ID enchantment on the Cloak
Spellcraft: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (3) + 6 = 9 Try to ID enchantment on the Armor

Amin offers the mask and saber to Tiadora. "Are you any good at identifying things?"

Amin takes off the Assassin's cloak, armor, and coin-purse, then dumps the body out in the alley.

"So should we air out the house and make sandwiches, or find out what all of the noise down the road was about?"

<distractedly> "Oh yes, I can cast a few spells. Let me know if you ever need any healing."

<sighing and taking off the mask> I guess you are right about the mask. Anyway the mask stinks like something died in it. ... Which I guess actually DID just happen. "

Amin casts Detect Magic on the mask, the body and the Sabers.

Spellcraft: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (5) + 6 = 11 Try to ID enchantment on the Mask, if magical
Spellcraft: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 = 10 Try to ID enchantments on the saber, if magical
Amin looks at the items, and shrugs, looking puzzled.

Amin then turns his attention to the body and starts to study the man closely. He gets on his hands and knees, and looks closely at the armor, then starts to examine his face, moving around to see it from different angles.

Muttering to himself, "..shame he never said anything, probably had a wonderful accent.."

"We really should check out the rest of the house for Master Vencarlo or other assassins."
Amin says distractedly, while slowly being drawn to the remains of the assassin. Amin picks up one of the sabers and the mask.
"Sooo Flashy." he whispers to himself.

Putting on the mask, and striking a dramatic pose, he attempts to emulate the flashy swordplay of the Assassin.

Unfortunately, the saber is apparently not balanced correctly, so the display is awkward and seems to aggravate one of Amin's wounds.

<wincing> "Oh right." Amin casts a healing spell on himself.

CMW: 2d8 + 6 ⇒ (8, 8) + 6 = 22
Wow, apparently the mask improves healing spells ;-)

To Tiadora, "Oh, um, you ok?"

The attack is assuming the assassin is still standing. If not, I'll move and cast create water (12 gallons) to put out the fire and soak the floor in the space next to Tiadora.

Divine favor round 3, endure elements (fire)round 2

Feint: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (4) + 15 = 19 vs (10+target BAB+wisdom bonus) or target Sense motive
On success target is denied dex to ac for the next attack so sneak attack (this works against uncanny dodge).

Attack Sec1: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (4) + 15 = 191d4 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 = 10+ Sneak Attack: 2d6 ⇒ (5, 4) = 9
If the sneak attack hits, then target is at -2AC (-4 vs my attacks) until the start of my next turn.
Attack Pri2: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (1) + 10 = 111d4 + 9 ⇒ (2) + 9 = 11
Attack Sec2: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (20) + 10 = 301d4 + 6 ⇒ (2) + 6 = 8
Confirm Sec2: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (4) + 10 = 141d4 + 6 ⇒ (1) + 6 = 7

Two minor changes to the last post.
Attack S1 should have been at +15 (+12 +3 for Divine favor) so a 24 to hit.
I also just remembered that the dialog in the first line should be been in Celestial, not common. I'll spoiler them in future posts.
Sorry that the full attack requires a flowchart, but it seems the most efficient way to post. ;-)

"Ouch" then Amin Smiles "My turn!"

Well this is interesting, I actually thing it makes sense to feint a blind man. Assuming that the assassin is blind, he also probably has Uncanny dodge. That would allow him to react to my attacks, giving him his dex to AC and denying my backstabs. Of course if he can sense my attacks,he can also sense a feint. Of course if he doesn't have uncanny dodge, the feint doesn't work, but also is not needed.

Feint Stabby Slash Slash

Feint/Bluff: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (11) + 15 = 26 vs (10+target BAB+wisdom bonus) or target Sense motive
On success target is denied dex to ac for the next attack so sneak attack (this works against uncanny dodge).

Attack S1: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (9) + 13 = 221d4 + 6 + 1d2d6 ⇒ (3) + 6 + (4, 2) = 15
If the sneak attack hits, then target is at -2AC (-4 vs my attacks) until the start of my next turn.
Attack P2: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (16) + 10 = 261d4 + 9 ⇒ (2) + 9 = 11 + Sneak Attack: 2d6 ⇒ (1, 1) = 2
Attack S2: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (2) + 10 = 121d4 + 6 ⇒ (3) + 6 = 9 + Sneak Attack: 2d6 ⇒ (2, 4) = 6
The last two attacks only do sneak attack damage if the target is blind and does not have uncanny dodge]

full attack, use two weapon bluff to convert primary hand first attack into a bluff. If bluff succeeds then first secondary attack is a sneak attack.
If any sneak attack hits then apply Debilitating Injury: Bewildered -2/-4 (Ex) Foe who takes sneak attack damage takes AC penalty of 2 vs all opponents and 4 from the thief until the beginning of the attacking player's next round.

"Well that was unexpected." Amin then passes his right hand dagger to his left, makes a different gesture, and says "Let my faith protect me from danger, let no fire harm me". Then switches his dagger back to his other hand. The ring glows again, and a faint blue shimmer covers Amin from head to toe.

"And unnecessary as well"

Amin steps forward to engage. Tumbling at the end to get into a good position without being attacked.

"Tiadora, there still may be more creeping around, make sure not to get flanked."

acrobatics: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (20) + 10 = 30

Cast resist energy (fire) Swift to switch hands and change back during the move.
Effects Divine Favor +3 (9 rounds left) Resist energy 10 (1 hour remaining)

So does standing in fire provide any concealment? Any relevant smoke effects (good or bad)?

Amin calls behind to Tiadora, "I found one, he's hiding in the rafters over the fire."

Amin then gathers himself and mutters "Hey Calistria, a little help here." then in a clearer voice, "Guide my hand and strike my foes!" He drops his dagger to make a flourishing gesture with his left hand. The ring on that hand briefly glows with a three dagger symbol.

Amin then jerks the weapon cord, flicking the dagger back into his hand.

actions:
Free action to drop the dagger with the weapon cord. Standard to Cast Divine Favor (+3/+3 for 1 minute duration). And draw back the weapon as a move action. Then a 5' step

Personally I think it would be faster to toss the second dagger into the main hand, hold both daggers in the main hand for a second while casting then toss it back, but it looks like that would require DM approval

Amin decides it is time to take a sneaky peek upstairs. So a slow stealth half-move partway up the steps, and a peek around the corner. The first step starts to squeak when weight is put on it, but Amin quickly backs off and uses the second step instead. He begins to suspect that Vencarlo may have been slightly paranoid, as he seems to have deliberately made the house hard to sneak in. Or it may just be old.

Holding a standard action to attack any enemy coming into range.

stealth: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (8) + 8 = 16
perception: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (19) + 9 = 28 with an additional +4 for hidden objects or listening to conversations, and +2 vs traps and +1 vs hidden enemies

Armin sneaks just far enough forward to see around the corner, then pauses listening and looking around the room, ready to attack anything that jumps out at him.

Actually taking a good look around , I would Hold a standard to attack any enemy coming adjacent unless the look uses up my standard action. If it does I'd rather look

stealth: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (5) + 8 = 13
preception: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (20) + 9 = 29 with an additional +4 for hidden objects or listening to conversations, and +2 vs traps and +1 vs hidden enemies

perception:
Sorry for all of the odd perception bonuses, but that is an unchained rogue for you with three different conditional bonuses. I tweaked the canny observer bonus to be more accurate (listen vs listen to conversations] and added the danger sense which I had missed the first time. Now it matches the Heroforge listing

Amin freezes at the slight noise, then looks at Tiadadora, cups his ear and points upwards. Not wanting to risk the noise a door would make, Amin ignores the rapier at his waist and instead creeps forward silently, drawing a dagger into each hand. On his final step, Amin finally finds one of the squeaky floorboards himself, and he silently curses at the faint noise.

Move action: move at half speed for stealth and draw once
Standard: move again at half speed and draw the other
Perception general: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (15) + 9 = 24 +4 for hidden objects or listening and an additional +2 for traps
Stealth: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (2) + 8 = 10

Without a word, Amin glides forward into the house, moving (mostly) silently. Stealth: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (5) + 8 = 13

He moves up to the nearest door, takes a swift look down the corridor, and if it is clear, checks the door for noises, then traps.

Perception Noise: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (17) + 13 = 30
Perception Traps: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (6) + 15 = 21
