![]() Amaterasu grins wildly, giving a roar, and charges the bugbear as soon as she is able, wielding her scimitar in both hands as she launches herself onto the bugbear. "The Nothingman is about to become nothing but red!" she yells cackling uncontrollably. Her enthusiasm at the prospect of the battle comes at a detriment though and her blade swings wide. "Stand still!" she yells, angrily, at the creature in response. --------------------------------------

![]() The tien woman plops down next to Pandora, and offers her back as a back rest as she herself yawns, "This is boooorrrrrring." Picking up a stick she flicks it off into the woods, followed by another, bending it back and seeing how far re return spring would make it fly. "We should go to that cave. That sounds interesting." She mentions after flicking a few more sticks. ![]()

![]() Amaterasu watches with amusement as camp is made. Having continuously lived in the wilderness she found nothing of the area uncomfortable. After a few moments of watching, and chuckling she disappears into the woods to find food. Survival: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (13) + 7 = 20 ![]()

![]() Survival Track w/ Scent: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (11) + 11 = 22 The undergrowth and vegetation does not affect Amaterasu in the least as she moves through the forest unhindered. She is able to easily pick out the trail as the days light dies and the temperature drops. "Oh dear the cold is more than expected. Perhaps a fire would be appropriate?" ![]()

![]() Perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (10) + 7 = 17 Amaterasu's visage changes completly as she becomes fairly indifferent to the conversation, looking around them. "I am balanced. I would not be here were I not." she explains, as if to a child. Motioning to the rest, "Come now! Stop wasting all this time in talk!" ![]()

![]() Amaterasu emerges from the forest again. "I am the balance of nature, a guardian of the wilds of Tien Tia. My name is Amaterasu of the Sun. I am sorry to hear you have lost things, to my knowledge I have been fine. I do not think I lost anything." She gives the group an uncomfortably large smile. ![]()

Amaterasu wanders off several times, enjoying following Antika in her wandering. The woman pays absolutely no mind to the rest of the group as they head for the cave. Sniffing the air and checking the ground as she moves along, she easily follows the tracks. When she remembers, she absently offers to let the group know which way. For the most part though she seems entirely uninterested in the whole ordeal, but very interested in the surrounding foliage and tossing small rocks and acorns to annoy Antika. ![]()

![]() The woman in Tien garb begins to burst out laughing, pointing at Vehemence. She is completely consumed by her laughter for a minute or so before taking a deep breath and slowing down. In between the laughter she says, "I am Amaterasu of the Sun. It is a..." Looking at Vehemence again, she breaks down into more giggles. "It is a pleasure!", she manages to blurt out. Sorry your the target now Vehemence. Amaterasu's current mood is completely determined by my first thought when posting, and your character reminded me of a guy who plays around here who cracks me up. ![]()

![]() Amaterasu has since moved up towards the rabbit, nodding her agreement. Hearing Sher Khan speak of rewards though, her mood changes entirely, and she begins screaming angrily at him, most would think far more than would be warranted,"There is a danger to all of our brothers and sisters and you would speak of recompense! Where is your decency?" Looking back to Brambleston, she says in a far too loud and angered tone, "I shall go!" ![]()

![]() Amaterasu begins convulsing in laughter in the corner, where she was trying to not be pulled into the things. In between the laughter she says,"Now she just walks around with a pear stuck to her horn for no reason! Hahaha!" The bout ends after a minute to which she says, "Sorry. That was funny. Do we know of anyone else losing things?" ![]()

![]() The regal and aloof seeming Amaterasu had come into town to find some supplies. It had been some time since she had set up a small cottage in the woods outside of town, ever since she had lost control of her own emotions, she found it wise to remain away from the village as much as possible. She found she had acquired a knack for making bad situations with her unstable temper. The commotion in town was exactly what she had problems. The situation seemed dire though. "Perhaps I should attend. This could be important." she says, convincing herself more than anything else. The exotic looking woman makes her way towards the Comptert's Call, following the rest of the crowd and finding a seat by the wall so as to try and remain away from any who might wish to strike up a conversation. The last one she had had did not end on friendly terms. ![]()

![]() Character is created. Role play will be...weird. Long story short, I may use a mix of random emotion generation and triggers to determine her emotion for that post. Background and Lost:
Amaterasu of myth is the goddess of the sun. This is of course a myth, and she is not nearly of the power to be considered a god, but when she appeared to the Tien people in their forests, simply as a coincidence, with a bountiful and beautiful spring, or a victory in war, she was quickly and unbeknownst to her, raised to a god like status. Most of the stories of her deeds are made up, to provide reasons for festivals, or dances, or celebrations. The stories of her travels are not. She travels far and wide through the forests, protecting nature, both new and old from becoming unbalanced. There is a place for human ingenuity and advancement, but sometimes it is too much, or for a certain species to go through a boom period, or for a rogue wave to wipe out a settlement. These are the periods she appears, to bring balance.
She has always been a story of balance, a story of cause and effect, of how nature can always restore things to how they need to be. What happens then when she loses her balance? What happens to the places under her care? This is what has happened. Awakening one day, she found no balance in her life, no control of emotions, of wants, of needs, of tastes. Her balance has been taken from her, and much of her emotions are out of control. She gained a semblance of control over herself physically and magically, but she has no control of her mind, or thoughts, as they race through her, and what she says. She is now desperate to regain her balance and her focus. |
