I'm sorry i haven't been around for over a month. I just read up on the gameplay thread. Can someone tell me how much gold each of us got since defeating the smugglers?

I will look into the war soul and see if it makes sense to retrain both my archetypes or only the gifted blade (since that's the only one that conflicts with it as far as i could see)

Thanks! I'm back home. This hospital didn't have wifi for some reason. But as I said, the surgery wasn't a major thing. I was basically just staying for two days in case of bleeding.

This is coming as a surprise to me as much as it will to you, but I will be hospitalized with little to no internet from tomorrow April 22nd for an amount of time not yet determined. Hopefully only for the weekend but possibly longer. The operation isn't a big thing but I'll have to stay there anyway. GMPC me as needed.

"We're supposed to eliminate these smugglers and several of them escaped. They'll likely be going back to their hideout. I don't like the idea of facing them there, it nullified Connor's powers and made it very difficult to maintain my soulbolt... I'd prefer to see if we can help Flick recover first but we're not out of this yet, we need a new plan."

I'd hate to see this game end. It's also my longest running pbp not only on this board but altogether. As well as the longest running single character I have ever played online or otherwise.

I was thinking about using it when shooting the sniper but it went reasonably werll so I decided to save it. Might have used it on the steering lizardman, had I had gauge on how good his AC was with the big ones around. But honestly after the snuiper went down I kind of forgot I had it. Also there is this thing with me and consumables, where I always hoard them because I keep thinking there might be a time when i need them more.

Mdt, I know you're in a bit of a difficult position and probably exhausted with all the travelling but once you have some time, I was wondering where to find the rule with the wing lock upon going unconscious while flying. I can't seem to find anything about it, or is it a house rule?

Okay, doing the same thing but with a run instead of double move then. New acrobatics/climb check, if needed: 1d20 ⇒ 3 "Don't leave me alone with these losers!" she calls out to the others, although no one but Adran is likely to hear her. Alys makes her way to the ship's mast and from the elevated position looks for a good shot at the gunner turned helmsman. Double move, if there is a crow's nest or some other platform on the mast I will stand on that, otherwise, whatever's available. Climb or acrobatics check if necessary: 1d20 ⇒ 9 +12 if acrobatics, +4 if climb, if I have the choice I'll go with acribatics.

Turn 2 I'm not wielding a melee weapon. While thanks to close-range expert I don't provoke AoOs shooting with my mind bolt, but I don't threaten with it yet. So no flanking bonus from me. Unfortunately my new blade boots just plunged into the water. DM, by your description it sounds like my first shot dropped the sniper can I retcon redirect the second one at the human on the ballista "Sniper is down. They still have a manned ballista though! They have some huge guys over there holding the others up." Alys yells, reporting to her allies. "Tell me if you need help!" Despite the threat of the reptilian creature she calmly takes aim at the Ballista loader and fires another two bolts. As I said my shots don't provoke AoOs. Shooting the human on the ballista. Should the first shot happen to drop him, the next will go at the lizard next to him. If I can redirect my last round's shot, and it drops the human, and the first shot of this round happens to drop the lizard, the second shot of this round will go to the closer of the large lizards.
Attack 2: 1d20 + 11 - 4 ⇒ (8) + 11 - 4 = 15
