He said, as he raised his shield and stepped past Jibril, giving the elf one last clap on the back. "Everyone stay behind me. Let's go see what's beyond that door..."

If no one objects, Rex will go other to the door, inspect and then open.

Rex watched Quinn closely. It was about this time he would make one of his 'worried about your boyfriend?' jokes. But the moment didn't feel right. He did, however, snort derisively at Relgonath being called High and Mighty. "Of course he did..." Rex replied, not in the slightest bit surprised that Jake would be doing whatever it takes to win.

"Alright." He said resolutely, "Where exactly is this grand finale everyone keeps talking about?"

Rex thanked the healer, "Woah. That feels better. I don't think I noticed how uneasy I was feeling until it went away. You have my gratitude." He took the food gladly. Man those biscuits are good. He also reveled in the compliments that they broke the arena. Yeah! We sure stuck it to them!" However, like Jibril, he was troubled by the 'Avie's saviors' remarks. He got a slightly angry look. "Come on now. You can't mean...out of all those groups..." He looked sadly at the little girl.

I don't suppose Dizzy has a lesser restoration to cast? Because con damage is unfortunately the source of a good portion of Rex's hp problem.

Rex felt some of his anger dissipate at the child's joy. Perhaps now it was more than just a cruel challenge meant to torment them for the entertainment of others. When Dizzy pulled him off, Rex swung around for a moment, almost as if he was going to take a swing at her. However, he quickly regains his senses and stepped away from the destroyed remains. He took several deep breaths. "Right. The tokens." He said, shrugging as if nothing just happened, but undoubtedly looking a bit rattled.

He began climbing up the rows of seats once more, this time paying closer attention to the stability of the area and trying to avoid any attempts of sabotage by the emperor.

He began trying to clamber up the stands towards the emperor.

Rex agreed with Quinn, "Our priority should be figuring out where the tokens are. Lets have everyone check a gate. And yes, if the emperor has it and won't give it up..." His eyes narrowed, "I say we beat it out of him..."

Rex kicked the snake away like it was a pest. However, he suddenly felt a bit woozy. Trying to shake it away, he picked up the forked pole.

Does it look like the pole is the right size to grab a snake by the head? If so, what kind of check would that be?

Convincing Rex to turn on the "emperor" would not be a hard sell.

Rex picked up the forked pole and tested it's weight. He brought it slamming down hard into the ground fork first. He gave Jibril a shrug. "Maybe we're supposed to bring it down on the snake in such a way that it is trapped." He looks around and think of the other items. "It does seem like the items are all design to incapacitate or distract the creatures."

Vilhelm and Dizzy seemed to be far more comfortable around the child, so Rex left that problem to them. Instead he focused on having the next two cards ready. "So...save the wings for last like the kid wants? Or do the snake thing last?" He asked Jibril.

I knew I should have taken the knowledge (yummy) trait in the beginning of the game...Oh well...

Rex was surprised to see an actual child. He eyed her a bit suspiciously at first.

"Uh...No...We don't want to kill you..." Rex said as he picked up the doll and waved it around, "Want to come play with this pretty doll here?"

Rex winced. Yikes! That had sounded less creepy in my head! He looked to his companions for help, looking lost and afraid. Clearly charging at a bear was far more natural for him than interacting with a child. He tossed the doll to Jibril who was near him. He has a calming demeanor...or I guess we'll see...but it's his problem now... he thought, as he slowly stepped back from the situation.
