You can always clear them out at a later date and instead spend today mapping the area before making your way north. "Perhaps we should take these crooks up north to get their just punishment. I would also like to meet this Oleg and his wife and help defend the place until you have established your kingdom." he smiles ot the group, some of his wounds having naturally healed, but still looking wounded. never rolled for that second potion he took: 2d8 + 3 ⇒ (7, 6) + 3 = 16
"The mounds are right up against the walls. Merely stepping on the mounds attracts these things. I've watched where men who failed the stag lord have been thrown onto the mounds and watched the skeletons rise up from the dirt." he points at as they are nearby. "That's the only way to attract them is to move out onto the surface and bring them up."
A gag will also restrict magic casting. "The old man was vile, he lived in the basement with those two dire rats for years." Akiros adds "Give him a moment and he'll kill you. I had no idea he was The Stag Lord's father until his proclimation, but it makes sense now. He always drank himself into a stuper every night, having nightmares about past beatings and so on. One old man he came across he beat the life out of him merely because he resembled this old man."
he won't die from the bleed damage, but he might not stabalisze if you need him. Also it's north you are missing one or two hexs, this is as far south as you're allowed in this part. It gets more dangerous the deeper you get. Plus, before you forget the undead in the Lake wishes for the body of the Stag Lord and the swordlords want either the body or your word (and lack of bandit activity) as proof. The helm could be accepted as proof too. Akiros looks to the group and nods.
The only gear the old man had was a club that appears to be quite mundane but what he's guarding is far more valuable. All this treasure appears to be what the Stag Lord accumilated for his time here stealing from merchants who don't have the proper protection or just came across his bandits from bad luck. The majority of the wealth kept here consists of mundane trade goods like pelts, furs, tobacco, iron, bronze, miscellaneous weapons and armor (none masterwork or magic), and miscellaneous adventuring gear and tools worth a combined total of 10,275 gp. In addition, one chest in area Z11a contains 6,750 cp, 3,104 sp, 1,346 gp, and 31 pp, while a large bag in area Z11b contains 4,350 gp in various pieces of stolen jewelry.

You hear movement and the muttering of something down below, but you can't tell what was muttered. You find it difficult to believe that anyone would live down here in this filth and the smell is not much better. There's a good chance that the man mentioned by Akiros, if there is such a man, is not allowed to leave even to relieve himself.

"Hold onto her, I think you two make a cute couple." alost surprised Carina didn't slap Bron earlier for dissappearing and then running out ahead to attack The Stag Lord.

"I fell in love with a beautiful woman." his hand grips the handle of his sword, quelling a rage "She was married and when her husband found out, she claimed I raped her and she spat in my face. I lost control and struck her down and her husband, fleeing before I could be taken. I feel like telling you this because something about you tells me you are a trusting and forgiving man. I wish to live somewhere I can call home and a life that is not as empty as that of a paladin nor a bandit but as a mere citizen." Carina Stigard wrote:

I have never seen him get into a fight so I have no idea how he fights." he says and smiles as he leaves Bron and leads the way to a trapdoor in the pig roast room. "He guards the treasure and he would fix our wounds, but none of the men wanted his greasey hands touching them. After we deal with him, we should deal with the undead outside the fort. The skeletons hide under the mound and only come out to attack anyone foolish enough to try and enter this place." true, but also you have a few black spots on the map. Some quite close to the Stag's fort so I'm sure you'd like to map those areas out first, after clearing out the fort and taking a night for mapping or even getting rid of the lurking undead.
The presance of the Stag Lord has faded from the helm. It appears he only wanted you to know he'll be watching this group. The helm's magical ability appears to be suited far more for a ranger no matter his or her belief. Still think it's best for Ganit. If you fight something nasty, you get a free touch AC shot and if close enough, you get sneak attack too. Plus much of his damage with the bow came from 3 things. Strength, bow enhancement and Deadly Aim. Akiros seems stunned at the sudden kiss he witnessed between Bron and Carina, but he gives a smile and a nod before rising from his seat.
Yeah, bron is right about it following until the end, but I assuming you took time analysing magic items so taking 10 or 20. If 20 then it would've dissappeared back to it's realm.
Fat Norry appears to be alive as does a man who appears to be a young male. Both bleeding is stemmed, but everyone else is beyond saving. The Stag Lord however, his wounds were more than those of a dead man. A normal man would've been dead after the elemental's second attack, but he held together from sheer will power. any coupe de graces? "I don't know much about him, but he has been here before I was. He and the Stag Lord have a past, but I don't know anything beyond that." he takes a few more breaths as he is clearly still wounded, though not mortally. "I hope the new life I lead I can settle into it."
Carina's magic missiles thud into The Stag Lord so hard they force his wounds open, making him leak like a collander. He falls to his knees, looking at his wounds in utter shock and horror.
assuming the use of detect magic, here's the loot after you spent time using detect magic Bandits: 12x leather armor
Dovan: masterwork chain shirt
Auchs: 2x potion of cure moderate wounds
The Stag Lord: 2x potion of cure serious wounds
Stag's Helm:
Aura faint divination; CL 5th Slot head; Price 3,500 gp; Weight 3 lbs. Description This striking helmet is crafted to resemble the skull of a mighty stag. Although made from bone, the antlers and helm are as strong as metal. When worn, the helm greatly enhances eyesight and hearing, granting a +2 competence bonus on Perception checks. In addition, once per day the helm may be called upon to enhance any ranged attack made by the wearer to make an insightful shot. Activating this ability is a free action, and once activated, your next ranged attack against a target within 30 feet is made as if that target were flat-footed against you—this allows a rogue to gain the benefit of sneak attack with this shot. If you don’t make a ranged attack within 1 round of activating this power, the insight fades and is wasted for that day. A worshiper of Erastil who wears this helm may utilize the insightful shot ability up to 3 times per day.

Sitting down Akiros gives a smile and nods. "I see, clever getting in like that." he says off-handedly as he looks around his room. "Most of these bandits are barely a threat, though as a number they can be quite threatening unless you were somehow able to open Beaky's cage from a distance, then he could tear apart the bandits whilst we take on the Stag Lord. Owlbears know on alligence. Last headcount there were eleven, but as I said they aren't the threat. Donvan and the simpleton who follows him are the real threat since Donvan is a skilled swordsman with his rapier whilst Ox is a big brute. Don't be fooled by him having the mind of a child, he has done many violent things before meeting Donvan and smiles when he crushes people's skulls with his club.""Most will run if The Stag Lord is killed, but Donvan will continue to fight because he will see this as his chance to become the new Stag Lord. The Stag Lord himself is a very dangerous man. I have seen him in combat only once and he is deadly accurate with a bow, though he is now inebriated because of the drink you brought him, but he can still fight with his bow, just not as good. He has a single nasty arrow that he is saving for a worth warrior. From what I heard, he had a few more before and these arrows were known to kill a man in a single shot, but he has only one now. My advice, attack him up close and don't give him any room to back up." Sir Bronwyn: From your experience as a bandit you can tell that he appears to speak far too well for the typical bandit. His features suggest he is from Taldor which is a distance to end up here. With your past you can tell he's a man with a story, a man who has seen or done something that turned him upon this path. Nearby you also see a leather-bound jurnal nearby, again, most bandits you have met are either illiterate or never felt like writing down their feelings in a book, though you have met the odd person who either killed a child from a badly aimed arrow and escaped justice or even just snapped and killed someone in public then joined bandits in hopes of fitting in, but as you can see in this circunmstance they rarely do.
