Background: I decided to go with a slightly lighter background, since I'm still reading the campaign setting materials; rather than paragraphs on paragraphs, I want to make an outline I could fill in as I go/as it becomes relevant.

- Alina was born outside of Cheliax, to two parents who were wizards and began to cavort with demons; they were "exiled" with their daughter, and they bolted for Cheliax. They opened a small library there and trained their daughter in it.
- Alina learned magic from them, but swordplay from a mercenary in the city. She also learned to be a librarian. Unfortunately, said mercenary also instilled more noble values than her parents' had.
- As she became older, she became more involved with rebel and dissident movements inside Cheliax; this mostly consisted of running messages, occasionally providing books and texts, and the like. She has sympathies, though. Hence... why she goes to the meeting at the start!
