Kissing the top of her head, "I love you too."

"Yeah, that might be a good idea." He responded as he crawled into bed. As her head rested on his chest, the Elf ran his fingers up and down her arm.

"It might be better if we head to bed. Start fresh in the morning."

Alethiro thinks for a minute, "I think Caitlin will do nicely. Caitlin Milocathe, yes, it rings beautifully."

Alethiro shook his head, "I'm fine Darling, I guess I'm more tired than I realized." Putting a hand on her cheek, he continued, "As far as how you're feeling, I'm of the opinion that all new parents feel that way. But we do have people we can ask for advise if we need it. We'll do fine, though to be honest, the adolescent years scare me."

Alethiro smiled, "They're both going to turn out fine. You'll see."

Holding his wife, "Physically, not really. Emotionaly, a little. Perhaps I could help with her anger issues? I mean, I do have some first hand knowledge of unchecked rage."

Alethiro thought for a moment and took hold of her hand, "Of course I'll go with you. I doubt Ulli and Ashram would miss me that much."

Alethiro was a little confused, "What are you saying Arista?"

"Other than the blocked door, and a swarm of spiders that Kierk took care of, nothing really. Although, he thinks there's a well made forge he'd like to get his hands on."

Alethiro did as she asked, wiping down the counter and the dining table. After rinsing and wringing the wash cloth, he took a seat next to his wife, "So how was your day?"

Sorry, mind on different stuff as well as fogged.

Snapping out of his daze, "Sorry Love. Yeah, I got enough to eat. I know you love me and I love you and Celine. I think maybe I'll talk to Ashram and Ulli tomorrow about my duties. The Adventuring life seems to not agree with me any more. Do you want some help cleaning up?"

"I am pretty hungry, thank you. I also get what you're saying and I will try to do better." Taking hold of her hand, the Elf brought it to his lips and gave it a tender kiss. "I love you."

"I'm not sure either why I'm upset. Maybe it's just that I felt.....not needed at all for these particular jobs. Or would useless be a better term?"

Setting down his gear by the door and moving to the dining room, the Elf took his seat and started eating his dinner. Accepting the wine, he began telling her what had happened after meeting her earlier that day.

"You too Esme."

Alethiro walked through the door, a slight slump in his shoulders.

"I'm home," He called out.

"You too. If he needs anything else, have him get in contact with me."

With that, Alethiro headed home.

A weak smile crossed his face, "Thanks Pandi. You're sure it's alright?"

Alethiro nodded to Pandi. He was feeling like an idiot. Why did I think this was a good idea? He remained silent as they headed out of the mine.

Alethiro took a step back, "Either of you have any fire?"

Holding up his mace, the Elf waved his free hand over it's head, "Pharasma, guide our way." The weapon began glowing like a torch.

Cast Light, good for about 80 minutes.

"Alright, left it is."

"Yeah, I certainly don't look forward to moving them either," Alethiro responded, "Alright then, right or left?"

Yes, I am. Sorry for being unclear.

"Alright, lets take a look."

Carefully, he headed towards the doors, making sure to watch where he stepped.

Taking in the scene, the Elf thought for a minute, "I'm not an expert in fortifications, but I'd be willing to be the main armory would be a little deeper into the fortress. So I'm guessing those main doors. Although I have no idea if we'll be able to get through them. Thoughts?"

"Alright, let's scout. But like Pandi said, carefully. Any doubts, speak up, and we stick together," Alethiro said as he pulled his weapon.

"I don't think it would hurt if we perhaps took a cursory look. Maybe even find the best way to the armory. What do you think Charity?"

Alethiro let out a whistle, "That is an impressive structure."

Not worried about that at all.

"Thanks Kierk, we'll be back," Alethiro responded.

Turning to his companions, "Alright, let's see what this fortress holds."

"All set. Let's get directions from Kierk," The Elf responded.

Waiting for the right moment to ask, so as to not interrupt his teaching his pupils, Alethiro asked, "Kierk, could you give the directions to the Fortress?"

We'll see.

Boy, I am just batting a thousand today aren't I.

With a sigh of regret, he headed to the mine.

"Unfortunately Magnus, I wasn't able to secure the funds. But I found some volunteers to go with me. I'm sorry to have bothered you and kept you waiting."

Alethiro wasn't sure what he was going to say, but he had to tell him something. The Elf approached the Mercenary, "Hello Magnus."

"I shouldn't be long." Alethiro said before heading to the park.

Arista had a point, but the Elf had his reasons, primary among them was the fact that he felt Sādhanā and the others were better suited to handle the Cultist than he. Going back to the two volunteers he teamed up with, "We've one more stop to make, then we'll head to the mine. Unless you want to just meet me there?"

Alethiro relayed the tale the girl had told him. About her parents seeking out cultists of Urgathoa and having gone missing a couple days ago. When he was done, he added, "I let Sādhanā and some of the others know so they could investigate. After that, I went and spoke to the Paladin Lovecraft, and he told me of an old Dwarven Fortress he would like scouted. I've enlisted Pandi and Charity to help me with that. I did talk to Magnus first, but I couldn't quite secure to funds to pay him."

An odd look came across his face as he smacked his forehead, "Magnus! I need to meet him and let him know that his services are no longer needed and he can go about his day with his son."

"Arista, you're back?!" Alethiro called out before he found himself rushing to her.

It would seem Pharasma is still in power. At least according to the last post of one of the Iconics.

"Thank you Charity. I think we may need to make one more stop." With his scouting compatriots beside him, Alethiro headed to the Tailor Shop.

Alethiro thought for a second, "Well, you would be with Pandi and myself. And we're not really expecting very much, if any, trouble. You may not have Toppen with you, but I think you'd be handy if something did pop up. Are you interested?"

It was an excellent question, Alethiro had no experience with Cavaliers, "How applicable are your skills underground?"

Alethiro rubbed the back of his neck. He wasn't entire sure how to ask,
so he simply said, "Yes Charity, I've come to ask, are you available for a scouting mission I'm putting together?"

Alethiro cleared his throat to get Charity's attention.
