Raised in the Shackles, Alayna spent the last four years working different ships, scullery, mucking the bilges and eventually, the decks. The open sea became an obsession for her. Waves and Wind, my only Friends. This was true until she met Andre Vallis. Oh, wow. At first he was just one of the marines that worked for the Captain, but then one night, after a fair amount of grog he kissed her. Fireworks went off. She made sure he knew she was returning his affection. The two young lovers kept their secret until they made their way to Riddleport, and then they jumped ship. Once safely on land, Andre revealed to her that he was more than just a marine, he was well connected to some of the Scarzni in Riddleport, and furthermore he had stolen a lot of the Captain's personal loot. "Oh no don't worry" he explained. "My friends are on the way to pick up the loot." Alayna did not like the sound of any of this, but she trusted Andre and let him have his fun. The thugs showed up, knifed him before he could explain and then tossed a bag of cash at Alayna. "Don't be son stupid as this one and we will work fine together. For now, consider yourself on call." Alayna never shrunk from a fight in her life, but saying no seemed like suicide. "Right-o, Cap'n" she shot back. The thugs laughed and left her alone. That was a month ago. The ship she had crewed, "Storm's Brilliance", with it's red lightning on black sails, has shown back up in port. Alayna can only believe that the Cap'n is looking for his missing marine and the loot. Maybe with the coin she has left, beating the devil and taking his gold will pay off her debts?

Tall and well built, Alayna exudes confidence. Her straight blonde hair is worn long, and most often in a single ponytail to keep it out of the way. Her blue-green eyes might suggest Undine heritage, and she has been told this many times.
