If you're near Berkeley, California; why not join my latest game?

>Recruitment poster<

I'm looking for players of all levels, though new players and rules-light gamers will have a better time. I'm usually more concerned about getting the atmosphere and ambience right over every minute detail.

I also follow the Epic 6 approach in order to keep things light enough for new players to jump in with ease.

My campaign is set in my own generic fantasy world where all my fantasy groups have been playing for the past 15 years. Here's a sample of what a typical session looks like: [http://www.rpgbooster.com/tales-of-domarion-session-15/]Session 15 recap[/url]

I'd like to try something slightly different and have designed a 'West Marches' inspired campaign where the players are exploring a mysterious archipelago. Each session will take place on an island of the players choosing and their discoveries will be shared with the next group that plays.

Would you like to join us for a session?

* didn't make the art of course. Shamelessly stolen from Dragon Age.

Wow. Very nicely done! She depict very well the character, even the ambient is very appropriate.

You should post that in James Jacobs thread, he will appreciate it.

I'll do just that :)

Hi James!

I was told you'd appreciate this cosplay of Merisiel the Rogue and to let you know here.

We definitely think it is an amazing costume. (All respect to Melody Tripp, the creator!)

I wasn't sure where else to post this, but I think you might enjoy this cosplay from a passionate pathfinder player.

We're creating a free, downloadable spell card sheet for new players (and old players that want an easy reference). The spells are still in rough mode and we have Cleric lvl 0-2, Druid lvl 0-2 and Sorcerer/Wizard lvl 0-1. More are coming, but we'd love to hear our feedback before we get too far into it.

Any comments are welcome! Just remember:
- These are meant to be simple and not include all info (use Perram's amazing cards for that!)
- We're not allowed to put the page # on the cards
- The cards do not show final design

Check out our demo here: Video explanation
And download the latest cards from here: RPGBooster Downloads

Huge thanks for all comments!

The area diagrams are great. I would recomend puting the book and page # of the spell somewhere. Maybe small print in lower right.

The problem with putting page numbers for spells on the cards is it is disallowed by the Pathfinder License. Because that page number may change from print run to print run.

Ran into this problem with my own cards.

Putting a blank space there for the players to write it down would be super cool.

Excactly. :-) That's why there's the little tab/bookmark in the bottom right corner. It says "Core Rulebook", but there's plenty of space there to write down the page number.

Any idea when you'll have spell cards ready for the Witch? I've got a player who'll like these.

We're working our way through the corebook classes first, though we do take votes. :-)

These are really neat, but leaving so much blank, you mean the cards wont contain the full text?

Thanks!! And that's correct! :-)

- White space makes the cards look cleaner and less intimidating to new players.

- It encourages new players to use the rulebook and add additional notes themselves (not the spot where you can write down the page number the spell is on for example)

There's enough spell cards out there that offers ALL the information, such as Perram's. We're offering the alternative.

But we'd LOVE feedback on the cards for that purpose if you try them out! Take a snap of your players using the cards and we'll put you on our blog too. You'll be superfamous! ;-)

Not exactly a new thing, but I do like the design you've chosen.

Thank you! I loved Perram's Spellbook when I found it, but I found it was too intimidating for new players. So we're making these with the intent of ease of use. Leaving large areas white also encourages players to do their own research and enter it onto the cards.

I actually use little fake gems for the sorceress in my game. But she enjoys having cards since it's easier to review compared to looking through the book.

We'll make these cards for the Alchemist though. Someone already prepared a list for us with his abilities. And as many others as people want us to.

Huge thanks for the feedback! The more people that test these and give us feedback; the better they'll get!

We're working on making some newbie friendly spell cards.
They're still in sketch mode, but maybe you guys would be interested in trying them out?

Check them out here!

Hi everyone!

Since Pathfinder reignited my interest in tabletop roleplaying games I figured it was the least thing I could do to share our fun with this community.

My game is set in my own homemade world I made 15 years ago and have revisited from time to time when needed. Though this time I've gone all in, with much deeper plots (yet flexible), characters and background.

Since you probably have read enough about other campaigns: Here's two of my documented sessions, but in images.

Session 13:

The end of a medium sized dungeon from session 12, this game saw the players discover another secret tunnel underneath their current dungeon. It took them through some loooong tunnels that eventually lead to where they wanted to go. Though first they had to figure out how to get around some old dwarven gates, decipher dwarven (I used real handouts and my own crafted alphabet)and steal a powerful gem.

Session 14:

They visited Magmarion Towers and ended up in jail after they were accused of attempting to kill the local lords son. I had planned 6 different outcomes for the night. This was NOT one of them.

Hope to post session 15 soon!
