![]() I'm not to worried about spell components even though I wanna play a wizard. It even says that most spell components have almost no cost and are common materials like the fire ball spell just requires a pinch of guano and sufur to cast i believe. Where chain lightning requires silver keys for each target effected. And spell books being looted would suck but think on in the pnp version how much a spell book full of spells can be worth. ![]()
![]() Also didnt think about it in the above post but in all reality if you find armor in a dungeon unless it was enchanted it most likely would't fit you or poorly fit. So would have to take to a blacksmith to have altered and while altering it you could get a chance to change it's appearance. Also unless it was identified you take a big change of it possibly being cursed. ![]()

Could always do a version of an optional rule in gurps where in melee combat against a creature that could be phisically attracted to or repulsed by your chance of being hit in combat either went up or went down the less you wore. ![]()

I wouldnt mind actually have the spell's per day limit similar to the pen and paper version of pathfinder. Especially considering a full day would be at most 1 hour and would lead to managing your spells. An example I only have one fireball so I save that for a large group instead of using that one spell on every enemy i see. Or i die from encoutering a red dragon and die because i only have fire spells memorized or learned. Would lead to some strategic thinking I believe but could be wrong. ![]()
![]() I'm against respecing period. Now in this game there are always other options that could be implemented. Such as paying a wizard to polymorph you into something else. Wish's to change your stats. Or dying then have someone reincarnate you with the random chance of being something you dont want. All those could conceivably be entered into to this game. But would might have to wait till someone or yourself knows them then pay the cost. In this case it would not be respecing but a game mechanic. |
