Day Job: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (15) + 9 = 24

Chronicle looks good! Thanks again for running. It may not be your favorite scenario, but I still had a blast!

I'd be up for any of the repeatables on your list (1-13, 1-16, or 1-25). However, the only one I haven't played with Aegis of those three is 1-25. (And I would want him to be free for a convention game in late March if that is an issue). I do have another 3rd level PC, I could bring immediately to the table if you were running 1-25.

I also have a few 1-2 level PCs, I could bring to a repeatable.

Otherwise, I have played (or am slated to play) the lower-level scenarios and my First Seeker PC that I would play the higher level scenarios (Tier 7+) is currently waiting to play 1-21 at the aforementioned con in March before hitting level 7.

So, my availability is somewhat limited, but I would more than happy to join any game that I could.

In response to the kiss, the android's face begins slightly warm up and take on a reddish hue.

"There seems to be an... anomalous... reading in my thermal regulator." Aegis-9 says by way of explanation. "But, I want you know to, Gunnz, that I do, indeed, look forward to our sharing missions together in the future."

Loved reuniting Aegis-9 with Gunnz and having him join a couple of new comrades in arms. It was a fun group of personalities to get to interact with. (Thanks for preventing him from going down, Chuck!)

"Friends... residents and visitors to Songbird Station... members of the Strawberry Machine Cake..." Aegis-9 begins, gesturing for the crowd to return to their seats. "We are humbled by your reception to our presence, but we neither covet nor deserve such praise."

"Do not consider us heroes. We have merely completed the job set out before us." the android continues, "Those Starfinders in absentia--the ones whose images you were shown this night; those who made sacrifices in the name of exploration, of knowledge, and of cooperation. Those who are missing. It is they who are the true heroes among our Society."

"Heroes too, are the lively and creative members of the Strawberry Machine Cake." Aegis-9 adds, as the fanatic glow of his holoskin begins to shine. "For it is they who have shared with us their melodic sounds and upbeat lyrics, to brighten our days, to provide us with good cause to gather and celebrate, and to inspire within us the hope for a better future."

"And let us also not forget," the Starfinder urges, "those unsung heroes--the ticket staff, the ushers, the stagehands, the concessions, the special effects teams, the sound staff--all those whose love of the craft and devotion to service have made this concert possible."

"Finally," Aegis-9 says in conclusion, "look around to the beings in the seats next to you, look out to the vast throng in this stadium, and look beyond to those viewing this concert from afar. Look within to yourselves. See the fans. And know they they--that you--are all, in a way, heroes. For it is your collective devotion, your passion, your efforts, your eagerness to come together from diverse planets and biomes throughout the Pact Worlds and beyond--all to share a moment, together, amidst the sounds of what is truly a superstar sugar pop sensation, that are heroic. Let such shared excitement and joy be a model for unity and reconciliation throughout the galaxy."

"And when the account of the ages is etched into the cosmos, let those who exist long after us know that this we rocked it! That we rocked it together! And that we rocked it hard!"

"Fight on, Mighty Chuck!" Aegis-9 encourages his ally. "We shall all battle on! This mecha shall fall before the curtain does!"

Get'em. Then ready a move action to follow Chuck and remain adjacent to him. Will use Bodyguard/In Harm's Way as reaction if Chuck is attacked.

"Aa-as aa-an aa-android, I-I d-do not breathe, m-my f-friend." Aegis-9 struggles to make, what he hopes is an insightful and helpful correction. However, his words are labored as internal repair mechanisms attempt to compensate for the extensive damage to the Starfinder's technoframe.

The damaged Starfinder staggers back, allowing the half-orc to better approach the mech. Guarded Step

Then, with greater strength, he bellows, "Let us show this mechanical monster, just what we are made of!"

Get'em!

Smashing an arm off may have looked really cool but it left Chuck open to be sliced from shoulder to hip, "AH..cough.. cough Thats not good..." he says looking to the crowd he tries to head bang some energy back while cautiously stepping away from the bot.

Due to Aegis-9's use of In Harm's Way, all damage should go to Aegis-9.

"You will not harm my friends!" Aegis-9 cries as he dives forward to intercept the stroke of the plasma blade. "Not as long as my transitors still function!"

In an effort to get make the blow seem less real to the audience, Aegis-9 does some head banging. Using the roll above would restore 8 Stamina Points as a move action. As a second move action, Aegis-9 ises Get'em.

"My song is not yet over. You will never stop the music!" the android declares.

@ Chuck -You should be able to retconning your actions this turn (and add +1 bonus for Get'em.

"By the All-Code, your time here is finished." Aegis-9 declares.
Get'em

The android swings his Idaran force baton at the mecha before him.
Melee (Idaran force training baton) w/GE: 1d20 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (13) + 3 + 1 = 17
Damage (B): 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3

Will use Bodyguard & In Harm's Way feats as reaction to protect any attacked adjacent ally; grants +2 to AC of attacked ally,; damage applied to Aegis-9 if ally hit.

"The mecha must be stopped... no matter the cost!" Aegis-9 declares adorned in heavy metal attire.
Get'em = All allies gain +1 morale bonus to attacks against mecha

Seeing the mecha approach with a plasma sword and realizing that his ranged weapons are unlikely to damage a construct such as the mecha, Aegis-9 draws his Idaran force baton as he attempts to draw the creature's attention.
Guarded step

"I suppose," replies the armored Starfinder, Aegis-9, "that the 'heavy metal' would be the most fitting for me."

"That is," he notes, referring to Telwyn and Chuck, "unless one you would prefer to bear that mantle."

Not sure what, if any, benefits the choice conveys, but I like the notion of my Transformers-inspired PC being heavy metal. However, given Chuck's history, it probably is much better suited for him. Thus, I would gladly take whatever is left over after everyone else chooses. (glam may be good for envoy?)

"Look the part, we shall." Aegis-9 declares in response to Historia-7's instructions. Then, turning from the comm to his stalwart allies, the android declares, "Starfinders, let us transform and rock and roll out!"

"But more immediately, there's a subroutine set to vent all the air in Lanzio's place! Anything we need to do about that?"

"Yes." Aegis-9 says adamantly. "Shut it down. I believe that we left Lanzio incapacitated at Lanzio's place."

Diplomacy w/expertise: 1d20 + 7 + 1d6 ⇒ (15) + 7 + (6) = 28

"A concert" Aegis-9 explains, "is a musical performance given in public, typically by several performers or of several separate compositions. Concert also serves as a synonym for the words harmony, agreement, and cooperation. Thus, it is appropriate that we work in concert to save the concert."

"As for The Strawberry Machine Cake," the bulky android continues, "they are quite simply and yet profoundly--as I have stated previously--a superstar sugar pop sensation."

"The phrase 'superstar sugar pop sensation' is not a description that I would ever use lightly." Aegis-9 says solemnly, his figure now aglow with the bright lights and colors emitted by his new holoskin. "However, when it comes to describing The Strawberry Machine Cake, it is a phrase most apt."

"We are here to address the power fluctuations and to ensure that the concert of a superstar pop sensation proceeds with the appropriate flare and showcraft that the fans have come to expect. If you are here to address those fluctuations, then please allow us to aid you," the android continues. "Yet, if you are here to hinder those efforts, then know that we will respond in a measure suitable for both our capacities as trained Starfinders as well as devoted concert fans."

Diplomacy w/Expertise w/aid: 1d20 + 7 + 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 7 + (1) + 2 = 11

"Thank you, Burgundy Bear." Aegis-9 states while exchanging the album for the holoskin. "Now, I too shall truly resemble the other fans of the Strawberry Machine Cake!"

I, too, have a copy of the hit single." Aegis-9 pipes in. "I am happy to help a fan. Had I not been listening not my digital copy, I am certain that I would have worn out my physical copy."

Aegis-9 produces a copy of the album. "As it is, it remains in the shrink wrap."

"If Lanzio has vandalized the reactor, then he should be made to stand for his crime." Aegis-9 notes. "We should notify station security to have him apprehended."

Anyone with rope, cable, manacles?

Once he is satisfied that Lanzio has been secured, Aegis-9 rushes to the Engineering sector. "This show must go on!"

Aegis-9 enters. "Thank you, Telwyn."

Then, seeing Chuck in trouble, he shouts, "The robot is attacking Chuck! Get it!"

Until the start of his next turn, Aegis-9 and his allies receive a +1 morale bonus to attack rolls against the robot.

Aegis-9 again tries to disable the lock.

Engineering to disable: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 5 = 9

"This is most frustrating." he mutters.

Aegis-9 tries the door.

Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (10) + 6 = 16

Aegis-9 stands ready to intercept any being leaving the complex.

"I will cover the other exit." Aegis-9 suggests. With a nod, he sets off to get into position.

Day Job Check
Prof (Writer): 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (12) + 10 = 22

I believe that all 4 of us have acted. Small party for this scenario (but then Strawberry Machine Cake tickets were selling at a premium and hard to come by).

Aegis-9 attempts to follow his comrade in arms by moving his actuators to the beat.Prof (Dance) untrained: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6

Realizing that he is not adding much to the performance with his moves (but glad he remains disguised), he decides to take a lyrical approach and composes a poetic monologue to accompany the moves and music.
Prof (writer): 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (11) + 8 = 19

"Oh, how my transitors struggle and ache to process my love for the Strawberry Machine Cake." he recites to the beat.

Aegis-9 scans the expectant crowd. Out of his element, he glances over at Guunz. "Should we make a break for it? Or attempt to give the crowd the entertainment that they seem to desire? in matters such as this, I will follow your lead."

Acrobatics: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (12) + 2 = 14

Aegis-9 attempts to make his way deftly through he crowd.

"It seems that we are not all in agreement. Yet, given the size of this crowd, I do not suggest that we split up." Aegis-9 notes.

Pausing for a moment, he then accedes, "Very well. Let us focus our energies on finding Lanzio for the time being. However, should these disruptions in power appear to put anyone in imminent danger, I will not hesitate to abandon the mission and see to the well-being of those in harms way."

Breaking the tie.

"If there are problems with the station, that would undoubtedly complicate our efforts to secure Lanzio. I suggest that we head to the Engineering sector to get to try and get to the route of the problem." Aegis-9 suggests.

Assuming Aegis-9 is present...

"Tell me," Aegis-9 inquires, "by any chance has this robot been recording as the crowds have been passing by? If so, we would like an opportunity to skim through some of the footage."

"May I suggest that we make inquiry here at the station regarding Hira's whereabouts?" Aegis-9 suggests. "Though we would do well to make some effort to avoid advertising our identities as Starfinders."

He makes a few alterations to his clothing and picks up a pair of discarded spectacles that he has found on the floor in an effort to create a rudimentary disguise. Disguise: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (20) + 6 = 26

" Please, let this work." he mutters.

Then, he begins making inquiry among the patrons at Songbird Station. "I am searching for one, Hira Lanzio. I am told that he may be here."

Diplomacy w/Expertise: 1d20 + 7 + 1d6 ⇒ (3) + 7 + (2) = 12

Culture: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (17) + 7 = 24

"Indeed," Aegis-9 continues, "the Strawberry Machine Cake's holoavatar projector is rumored to be one of the most sophisticated in both the Pact Worlds and Veskarium. It is said to routinely accomplish feats that many would have considered impossible with current hologram technology."

"As one would expect of true, career show-beings like them," he continues, a tone of excitement evident within his voice actuators, "the band has a staggering amount of formidable, yet no doubt reasonable and necessary, legal protections in place to keep anyone from accessing or studying their equipment. Accordingly, the secrets of the band's stunning performances remain a delightful and intriguing mystery."

The android pauses for a moment, then concedes, "I am a bit of a fan."

Among the throngs of fans, Aegis-9 attempts to scan any persons that match the Hira's description with his visual receptors.
Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (16) + 6 = 22

"In a previous life I managed to make up a passable physical disguise of one of those strawberry things. After the editor, I don't think I could pull that off as well, but I'm embarrasingly familiar with the details needed to sell the hologram..."

If Aegis-9 is aware of the lashunta's sarcasm, his reaction does not reveal it. However, when Telwyn recalls the affects of her recent upgrade, the android quietly says to Gunnz, "It would seem that she can't have her Machine Cake... and edit, too."

Aegis-9 begins to nod when Gunnz offers her explanation. His facial actuators feel as though they are going flush with fluid, when he realizes that he inadvertently suggested that his companion, a veteran of the music business, would have anything to do with the use of narcotics.

When the ace pilot asks about computers, the android responds, "My computer skills are... adequate, but I would be honored to offer my assistance."

Computers (Aid Another): 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (9) + 6 = 15

"Are we likely to be searched for drugs? What is the station policy on them?" asks the chirpy lass.

"I am certain that concert security will do all within their power to ensure the safety of the concert attendees. Yet, I cannot imagine that any-being would stoop to bringing drugs to any sort of musical event." Aegis-9 notes, apparently finding the idea of any association between rock music and the use of drugs to be nearly unthinkable.

She offers a girlish giggle. "So, Aegis, what else you been up to recently?"

"I have made new allies on a planet once devastated by nuclear war and uncovered a mystery regarding an outpost that was abandoned centuries ago." Aegis-9 states with no hint of pride. "Yet, before receiving tickets to this event, I spent a considerable amount of time, simply dreaming of the future.

"Hey. Call me Chuck."

"Greetings, Chuck." the android says with a firm and polite tone. "Though this may be your first mission, do not underestimate your value to our team. Indeed, there has been a 'first mission' for each one of us." Aegis-9 notes, indicating to himself and his fellow agents. "You would have not been selected for this task if the Venture Agents did not think you to be quite capable."

Gunnz looks both excited and concerned. "I think we are going to need some more details. How are we to find this Hira? Looking for a random - possibly human person in among one of the largest pop-concerns of the year is like the old finding a lost bit in a Peta-byte data stream."

"The description, 'mega-sugar-pop sensation', is not one that I would bandy about lightly." the android notes in all seriousness. "Nevertheless, it serves as a most apt description for the Strawberry Machine Cake."

Aegis-9 pauses for a moment, as if to allow the gravity of this assessment to settle in. "If we are to locate our quarry unassisted, it will not be easy."

Then, after a few moments of contemplation, he suggests, "Perhaps, we could inquire with the box office to see if they have information regarding the identities of ticket holders. The stadium will, no doubt, be difficult to navigate. Yet, if his seating area and seat number can be ascertained, our task will be made all the easier."

Telwyn taps the static arc pistol at her hip. "This boy's been exactly as non-lethal - or not non-lethal - as I've ever needed him to be."

"I do not believe that lethal force will either be necessary or prudent." the Exo-Guardian advises. "Furthermore, we would not wish to bring ill-press to the good-name of the Strawberry Machine Cake. A concert such as this is a wholesome event, offering entertainment, fun, and enjoyment for beings of all ages. We should endeavor to keep it so."

"I, for one, came here only with the intention to enjoy the delightful, catchy melodies and revered stage showcraft of the Strawberry Machine Cake," Aegis-9 says in earnest, "and to spend some time with my dear comrade, Gunnz, who I have rarely had an opportunity to see since that unfortunate incident aboard a kasathan vessel.".

The imposing android pauses contemplatively for a moment before continuing. "However, if there is a chance to expose foul conspirators and plumb the mysteries surrounding the Scoured Stars Incident, then know that I, Aegis-9, Defender of the Pact Worlds and member of the Exo-Guardians, stand at the ready to provide assistance."

Thanks for running! I didn't expect the game to be starting up quite so quickly. I still need to level up this PC and apply a recent chronicle and GM credit, but I likely won't be able to until Mondayish.

@ GM Saashaa - Forgot to add sickened condition to Aegis-9'd last action. Attack was at -2 as was damage, so hit EAC 15 for 2 damage.

"Betrayed." Aegis-9 mutters. 'You may have decided us, fiend. But you will not win this battle!"

The android draws his pistol and fires.

Aegis-9 stands before the altar to see what, if anything, happens now that the tablet pieces have been inserted.

Assuming the purple area is the altar, Aegis-9 token has been placed.

It makes sense, I suppose, for Aegis-9 to be carrying the other two.

Aegis-9 follows Gulkyn's lead and places the other two tablet pieces into their corresponding indentations.
