Hey Pits, make those big arms of yours useful and secure these doors somehow will ya? Lissie, you want to take a second look around and make sure there is no way for those disgusting vermin to disrupt my beauty sleep? Acidios points out his requests and then begins setting himself up a sleeping area.
Acidios snaps awake, licking the potion off his lips, and patting his stomach. I have too much potion in my belly, and not enough food. He yanks the arrow out of his leg. When he spots the dead goblin beside him, he lets out a high pitched cackle. Yes! I got him! You're welcome Pits. Let's get inside and find somewhere safe for a good sleep.
Sense Motive
Acidios eyes widen. I was joking, why would you do such a thing?! It's like my worst nightmare come true! Did you let the rats gnaw all over me as well? My toe... Just as Acidios face begins to change a hue of red, he feels cool metal around his neck. A familiar wide grin spreads across his face as he looks to Barlow and Lisbeth with an almost admiring look.
Acidios chokes to conciousness with a gasp. He looks around the room confused, eyes barely open and speaking lethargically. Wha... what happened? Why do I hurt all over? Did you sit on me Barlow... I mean Pits? Acidios chuckles weakly to himself as he remembers the new nickname he had given the big orc. His expression suddenly turns to panic. He starts feeling around the floor with his hands frantically. Shiny! Where did it go?!
After his spell and a quick inspection of the results, Acidios grin returns, wider than ever. That necklace is mine! I spotted it! Acidios reaches for the necklace, but pauses just before he grabs it. Pits, I'm a little uneasy about the aura coming off these skeletons. Be ready to smash em as soon as I grab that shiny will you? I get a shiny, you get to smash. Both our favorites!
Acidos walks to the center of the room, closing his eyes as if preparing to cast a spell. I am hardy! I just like the way the potions taste! Bluff
I'll leave the mundane searching to the two of you. I'm going to see if there is anything fancy in here. Cast Detect Magic(Focus each direction, 3 rounds each)
Acidios growls at Lisbeths comment. Just you wait Lissie! First mistake you make, I'm going to give you the most humiliating nickname in history! My wit has no contest! As for you Barlow, I'm calling you 'Pits' from now on. He chuckles out loud at his own cleverness. Lissie has a point though, how are we going to get you out of... oh... you can climb. Good work Pits.
Acidios pale complexion began to turn red as he continued yelling, the pitch in his voice gradually becoming higher and higher. COME ON LISBETH! YOUR JUST HELPING BARLOWS MOCKERY THAT I LOOK LIKE THESE VERMIN! AND I AM NOT SQUEAKY BARLOW, I'M FIERCE! Intimidate to sound fierce
Acidos, full of rage, infuses his sword and hand with magical energy as he steps forward to attack the closest rat. Expend 1 point from arcane pool
Longsword(-2):1d20 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3
Acidios lets out a high pitched scream as he falls from the rope. AH! My back! Acidios rubs he is back frantically trying to ease the pain, an instant later noticing the yellow eyes of the rats peering at him. He rolls around sporadically trying to avoid the onslaught of teeth, kicking the rat that had just feasted on his small leg. He stands, and quickly takes a hop back to the wall, ranting at the top of his lungs to his allies as he maneuvers. THEY DO NOT LOOK LIKE ME BARLOW! THEY ARE OVERGROWN AND UGLY LIKE YOU! AND WHO THREW THAT ROCK, DAMNIT?! WATCH YOUR AIM! In a panic, Acidios tries to focus and cast a Shield spell on himself. Stand and 5ft step back
Cast Defensively: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (10) + 4 = 14
Feeling pretty confident in his solid tug to test the sturdiness, Acidios illuminates his weapon with light, then hops on the rope. Nothing exciting. I'm going to take a closer look. Keep one of your big orc eyes open for me on my way down, will you? Acidios begins to repel down the rope. Climb
Acidos inspects the pillars, a grin spreading across his face as he reads the writing aloud. "Come down here, lose an ear and we eat you." Sounds like more fun! Me first! Acidios rushes to the rope, picking up a small rock on the way. He magically illuminates the rock with light, and tosses it down the ravine. Putting one hand on the rope he leans over the edge to see what the light reveals. Cast Light Perception
Spoiler:
Acidios loots everything he seems worth while off the bodies. He jumps, startled at the action of the tatoo.
What was that? he thinks to himself. Knowledge Arcana
Better luck next time, big friend! Looks like there is enough gold coins on these fellas for each of us to take 30. Barlow takes out 2 small cloth pouches and puts 30 gold pieces into each, and tossing one to both Barlow and Lisbeth. Here Barlow, you take this potion as well. Need a refreshing beverage while your getting stabbed on your next smashing spree after all. Acidios tosses the potion to Barlow.
Acidios lets out a sigh of satisfaction at his recent kill. Glad you've got a semi-level head Lissie, but we both know what barlows got on his mind. We are past proposals. Acidios turns his attention to Murix. A frightening grin across his face as he begins to advance behind him, pointing, and chanting something under his breath. Intimidate

Acidios giggles and thinks to himself Worth every coin. Wonderful! Food time is over, we have descriptions of our targets, and it looks as if the oh-so delightful Lady Hurcele is about to cry. Onward fellow adventurers! On his way to the door, Acidos walks up to Lady Hurcele and whispers something to her. Stretching on the tip of his toes to get as close to her ear as he can. I really am sorry for the damage Lady. Just deduct the costs from my share of the reward when we bring your friends back safe and sound. Diplomacy
Acidios gives her a smile and waves goodbye.
Acidios lets out an irritated sigh as he slides his back down a wall and seats himself on the floor. Fine! I suppose I'll just polish my daggers some more. Lisbeth grab a shovel and help him eat faster will you? I want to get on with this already. And for your information Barlow I would melt off the scary womans face before she got so much as a taste!
Acidios scoffs at the servant, wraps his food in some cloth, sticks it in his satchel and pats Barlow as high on the back as he can reach. C'mon Barlow! Grow some tusks, let the servant deal with it next time. Lady Hurcele, I believe I will take my breakfast on the road. Thank you for your kindness. It almost makes up for the lack of shiny compensation for my valuable time. Let's go comrades! With any luck I'll still have time to stab something today. Acidios impatiently makes his way to the door.
Acidios looks angrily at his plate of food, picks up the nearest fork and throws it at one of the servants. Fork attack
Fork damage
Incompetence! Come back here, cut my portion in half, and put half on my large friends plate! He needs to keep his strength up, and I don't need to be rolling around on my belly! Intimidate
