The description makes them sound like Spell Like abilities, but Haunts seem to me to be the very essence of the Supernatural. I didn't catch an obvious label.

Inquiring minds (especially Hardy Dwarves) want to know.

Order #1835542 from October 14th has yet to arrive. I've recieve all shipments prior and after, but that one remains missing.

Pathfinder Adventure Path #51: The Hungry Storm (Jade Regent 3 of 6) (PFRPG) Print Edition

THROW SPLASH WEAPON

<Snip>

A hit deals direct hit damage to the target, and splash damage to all creatures within 5 feet of the target. Splash weapons cannot deal precision-based damage (such as the damage from the rogue's sneak attack class feature).

You can instead target a specific grid intersection. Treat this as a ranged attack against AC 5. However, if you target a grid intersection, creatures in all adjacent squares are dealt the splash damage, and the direct hit damage is not dealt to any creature. You can't target a grid intersection occupied by a creature, such as a Large or larger creature; in this case, you're aiming at the creature.

If you miss the target (whether aiming at a creature or a grid intersection), roll 1d8. This determines the misdirection of the throw, with 1 falling short (off-target in a straight line toward the thrower), and 2 through 8 rotating around the target creature or grid intersection in a clockwise direction. Then, count a number of squares in the indicated direction equal to the range increment of the throw. After you determine where the weapon landed, it deals splash damage to all creatures in that square and in all adjacent squares.

So if you don't target a creature, you aim at an intersection and affect 4 squares with splash damage but if you miss the creature you were aiming for the splash damage affects 9 squares? Why the difference?

A package containing 1 item from Paizo Order #1425851 is expected to ship from the Paizo warehouse by Thursday, May 20 via Standard Postal Delivery, estimated 4 to 8 business days in transit.

This shipment is Missing in Action. I have recieved #1418088 (both parts) that shipped around the same time, but no sign of #1425851.

So PC's have Death Ward to protect them from Channeled Negative Energy. I Haven't seen a monster equivalent, Life Ward perhaps? Does something like this exist within Pathfinder?

I guess that's a "No."

We're switching some of our 3.5 campaign to pathfinder and our paladin in the group really likes the pathfinder abilities.

Do the recipients of the Aura of Justice retain the smite abilities if they go more than 10 feet away from the Paladin?

Does the paladin also gain the ability to smite from Aura of Justice or just her allies? Does she need to expend another smite for herself.

I just got my hardcopy of CotE (and the awesome flipmat), I don't see how to get the free PDF version, it's not in my downloads...

I feel I'm missing the obvious...

Our group of 6 players (+1 DM) have been working our way through this adventure since December and have been having a great time.

Having accepted Kaurophon's offer they have followed him to Occipitus, completed the 1st 2 parts of the test and now stand ready to conquer the 3rd. I'm very interested to see how this plays out.

During the 2nd part, in the encounter with the Basilisk, Kaurauphon was turned to stone. They talked about changing him back, but with limited resources they didn't do it and thought they would come back later. They haven't.

So now they approach the Test of Sacrifice...

The next game is in a week and I can't wait to see what they'll do.

You can see the story so far here...
