Backstory and 2 Allies: Khonnir and Val Baine. We're all Numerian!:

When the dead starrted to crawl from beneath the tunnels of the ancient Numerian Capital, Abasara had a front row seat. She'd been in the capitol for weeks now, having arriving with her companions Khonnir Baine and Val Baine, his adopted stepdaughter. On that first night Numeria's skies were lit almost like the dawn of a new day with the explosions of grenades and energy weapons fired across the horrizon thanks to the strange technologies found in this part of Golarion.

Khonnir, being the eldest of the three of us chained the doors of the Foundry, the tavern and workshop he owned and opperated with Val by day and tested salvaged tech in by night. Hunkered down behind our barricade the old technomagician wove strands of magic together to form a divination spell; in Khonnir's words "We need to leave!". So we did; more strands of magic wove around us as Khonnir called for teleportation magics to take us away.

In a flash we were no longer in Numeria. Around us chaos reigned in Absalom, center of the world, they called it. Not any more. By day I haunt the haunters, scavenging what supplies I can from it's desecrated halls. Streets swarm with wave after wave of non-living flesh, I look for food, weapons, and survivors. So far its just me, Val and old Khon. Val tends to Khonnir a few miles outside the city and every morning I set out and return by nightfall with my prizes.

After one of my recent expeditions I returned to find Val flipping through one of Khonnir's tomes he'd had in his haversack when we 'ported over. It's some kind of electrowhip design, we could never make one now, of course, but Khonnir confided in her before the fall that such devices could be drawn from naught but shadow if a person posessed the correct arcane knowledge... I hold out hope that one day this knowledge is something I can uncover. Val could tell I was dissapointed so she gave me my birthday present early; she'd hand sewn a banner depicting the arms of Starfall. A dark blue trimmed in gold it was resplendant and I carry it with me now whenever I go out if I can - it just makes me feel....yeah, it makes me feel. Feeling has been hard, and until very recently I thought my passions would turn to dust but now I have a secret...one that makes me feel!

A few weeks ago, on one of my raids I discovered a covered up ruin that I hadn't delved into yet. Sneaking quietly, I made my way through the rubble and as my eyes adjusted to the darkness I was amazed by what I saw. Another living, breathing (thats how ya know if they're alive Khon says, if you can see it breathing don't kill it, 'less it tries to kill ya first! Anyway, she was sleeping and as I got closer she opened her eyes!

She was older, and human. Beside her on a blanket perched an owl the color of coal. She called me by name; said she'd dreamed of me and offered me a bargain. Continue to visit her (she really refuses to leave!) and bring her foodwhen I come. In exchange she could show me how to pull my heart's desire from shadow. I was speechless, how did she know? Babbling and confused I turned to flee but something made me stay. Her earnest look, her knowledge of my name for Calistria's sakes! So, yes, I bring her food and she mostly talks. She's showed me a few things and this crazy bug shows up now when I do. An onyx scorpion who she insists won't hurt me - and I believe her. I feel a connection to it and her that I can't explain. I can't tell Val or Khonnir I've been splitting the food with her but I yearn to feel the item Val showed me in her dad's book in my hands one day soon. Whats a little while lie?

She's recently taken on the Baine surname, it's not her birthname.

She's 5' even, about 110lbs. Her hair is blonde and shaved on one side, chin lengnth on the other. She wears the blue and red leathers she was wearing the
night all hell breaks loose. She uses her banner as a walking stick for the rough hikes down out of the hills and into the city and carries a masterwork whip or a wand of Obscuring Mist in the other.
