Sovereign Court

Holy hell... Let me first start off by saying that everything said in this thread was useful, but NOTHING could have prepared me for what we found..

Our Group:
7th lvl Paladin (pregen)
7th lvl Cleric (pregen)
7th lvl Gunslinger
7th lvl Wizard
6th lvl Summoner
5th lvl Sorcerer

At the end of it we had *barely*

Spoiler:
defeated three out of the four elementals when time ran out and were told that had we tried to go on to the boss(es), we would have died horrifically terrible deaths

besides that we cleared 7 rooms with no deaths. Although we came *QUITE* close several times. (especially me.. as the lvl 5 im super squishy)

Spoiler:
the two rooms that held us up the most were (of course) the statues.. we eventually had to create a pit and start throwing the corpses of the other two onto the remaining ones to do enough damage.. XD and the rat demons... daaaaamn our GM told us the fight could have gone on MUCH longer due to her deciding *not* to take advantage of their summoning ability (due to that we would have been fighting another 5 in a matter of two rounds) Had we had a GM that didnt like us we easily could have TPKd in that room.

the one thing i think helped more than most was that Heroes' Feast. Temp hp, cure poison/plague/disease and a buff against rolls? yes please. Only downside was that due to the nature of the scenario we could not get spellcrafting services so i had to buy the scroll for 1650gp. Even so, WELL worth it.

Spoiler:
i think not having a rogue with trapfinding caused us some big problems, i.e. setting off the electric chest trap doing 30+dmg to half our party and of course the crystal/mirror/black lightning shenanigans that hit the ENTIRE party for about the same dmg but idk if that would have been able to be avoided... but i actually had a question about the elementals.. is the encounter essentially geared to be a combat? because they, by nature, would not resist a desummoning(dismissal), but who would have that spell(it is a 4th level thus out of tier), and FOUR uses of it..?

After everything being said i think the time limit is the biggest constraint. if people were allowed to take their time it would be much easier and more doable but having to keep on yourselves and remember not to role play so much kind of detracts from the experience, in my opinion. I think it could stand to be even a bit harder, but relax the time constraint. But of course thats not what Bonekeep is about... ;D
