Quincon is the Great River Gaming Guild's 34th yearly summer convention. This year it will be held on July 19-21, 2019 at the Quincy Senior Center at 639 York. Pre-registration is $20 until the week before. At the door, the price will be $25 for the whole weekend. You will also be able to buy a day badge if that's all you need. If you agree to run a game for us, or work at the front table, we will give you a discount on that day.
At Quincon, we play games! Lots of games! We have Role-Playing Games, Collectible Card Games, Board Games, Miniature Wargames, Party Games, and many others.
We love games such as Dungeons & Dragons 5th edition, Pathfinder Society, Starfinder, Basic Fantasy, Memoir '44, Star Wars, Toon!, Rubout, and Cards Against Humanity. You may even be able to pick up a game of checkers or chess.
On Saturday afternoon, we have a large auction. It costs nothing to attend. At the Quincon auction you can buy games, modules, CCGs, CMGs, books, etc... In addition, the venue offers food for purchase. There are also lots of places to eat nearby.
If you would be interested in running a game, let me know and I'll get you set up. If there is a particular game you would like to see someone else run, let me know that too! Maybe we can work something out.
