Well, my assumption was that it would be best to go to the manor after the fort. Judging by the interrogation, the cult leader is at the manor, which seems to indicate that it is inherently a harder target, and the fact that there was just a major security breach at the house of a presumably major lord means that getting back in would be hard till some time has passed. Regardless, I got no issue with going to the manor now, if only to see what the situation there is. I just wouldn’t expect it to be any easier this time around, all things considered

Anywhere were go under leveled and fight two combats at the same time will be hard. They make a cr +4 ish combat. We should be ok either place with he additional level if we are a bit more careful and focus fire. Action economy is really important in combats where we are out numbered. But we have an animal companion to help now.

The manor has taken a big hit by us and is going to be on high alert anyway. If we have to go in, let's do it after we patch ourselves up.

Good questions. Given her knowledge of engineering could Penith figure out whether the gate could be picked or whether it will be required to break down. From a distance or with memory that is.

Penith, you are able to disarm the trap easily, it looks as if it was designed to fire out a poison needle if tampered with. Senn you do not find anything magical in here.

Penith stays behind the others and follows wearily, looking into bushes and behind them, hoping the bad guys (or the good guys, she is still uncertain which they are) didn't have the same idea about an ambush, and is trying to get them trapped inside.


This well appointed lounge includes a brick fireplace, a mahogany table with three matching chairs, and an antique sideboard near the foot of the stairs. Inside the room are an aristocratic couple who appear to be chatting to each other.
