LOL. Funny part is I don't drink at all, but with these children home screaming and crying, I'd like to give THEM something to drink to calm them down! Too bad that's frowned upon...

You were simply born in the wrong era. A few drops of "Mrs. Winslow's Soothing Syrup" and they'd be out.

But things haven't been the same since she changed the formula from morphine to fentanyl.

At this point, perhaps a little directness would be appropriate. It saves me from having to mention "Auntie Tia" again.

Yeah, I did not expect our Inquisitor to be that much of a meat shield! She's impressive.

Malleck's still probably better to hide behind though. Tower Shields can grant cover.

I'm curious whether Tih's beneficial tricks will work on Elliaria, since she's immune to mind effects.

All meat shields all the time. We can just rotate who's turn it is to be the damage sponge.

When it's Tih's turn she can use her nasty Charm Monster ability to make something do it for her.

Ooh. I hadn't thought of that. I don't see an explicit sentence on Tricks being mind-affecting.

Quote:
anything that blocks telepathic contact prevents him from triggering tricks

This makes me think that RAW I can implant tricks but not activate them.

Mephistopheles and I will have so many options for hiding.

I'm okay with not getting tricks when it makes me immune to a lot of nasty effects. Plus, there's a limit to how many she can have implanted, so this makes the choice a little easier.

It's often good to have multiple tanks. They make good flanking buddies.

Probably more reasonable to assume that Soren obtained one of her own.

The Baron is more of an opportunist than a devotee from what you have observed.

This would probably be a good time for Shadow to take over description. I'm guessing some of you will have reactions, but none of you are going to say no. We probably don't need to delve into an extended torture scene.

If I remember right, in the setting this story takes place in, Asmodeus had brought the Nine Hells, the Abyss, and Abbadon all under his rule. They all still squabble amongst themselves, but the Blood Wars are effectively over and the allegiances and hierarchies are pretty clear.

Shadow, is that the version you're going with?

I bring it up, because bringing Urgathoa into the greater infernal pantheon is probably on Asmodeus' agenda.

No, I'm rather fond of the Blood Wars. I haven't dwelt overlong on how that might effect the campaign, at least not yet.

Selling it you get 1/2 of its value, probably a better value to keep it and outfit those minions!
