Fiddlesticks eyes the terrain grimly, the weight of inevitability settling on his narrow shoulders. The enemy would have to come to him—that much was clear—but the spot he’s in is cramped, the footing poor, and worst of all... it’s honest.

No space to dart and weave, no shadows to vanish into. No clever flanking. Just toe to toe with heavily armoured Hellknights, playing their game on their terms. Still, one doesn't always get to pick the time or place for a proper scrap. And this, miserable as it is, might be as good as it's going to get. "Right then. Let’s see who wants to be first."

We appear to have both Bless and Courageous anthem, they are both Status bonuses - they dont stack :( any chance you want to fire Spray of Stars or the like? Fiddlesticks is slightly fireproof, and if people have more heals that would be sweet...

Fiddlesticks has already accepted the grim reality - he’s in for another whole battle lying on the ground. The Hellknight’s ability to knock him flat is practically effortless, and honestly, he’s beyond arguing about it now “It is what it is,” he mutters, mid-stumble, dropping like a sack of goblin-shaped potatoes.

As he falls, he throws in a sloppy feint—clutching his side and groaning in peak-Goblin, attenpting to use the distraction for a suprise strike.

Distracting Cacophony: The trigger is a spell. You create a musical crash of sonic energy that assails the target and breaks its concentration. Disrupting Harmony The trigger is a Strike. You create a strangely discordant harmony that sinks into your foe's mind and throws its movements off. That is actually true Prilla comments as she flutters near the ceiling. Blood and bone make good fertilizer.

Nanoc checks Marius for Weaknesses but doesn't find any (Failure; PA only). He shoots him anyway and hits.

Marius rushes forward and takes a swipe at Kosh with an axe.

Seeing Kosh being somewhat...under the kosh... Slipp pushes at the all-too-thin wall that separates the First World from this. As the thin fabric between realms parts, a surge of vital energy passes through and into the battered Kosh.

Not wanting to be shown up by Slipp's fireball, Voron pushes through the party and slides out to the right so that he can get Marius and Petra lined up.

Slipp sends Kosh some much needed healing and tosses a fireball at Petra. Petra is totally unprepared and eats the fireball right in the face.

Voron moves into position and unleashes a lightning bolt which catches both Marius and Petra. Marius avoids the worst of the damage but Petra, still reeling from the fireball is caught like a deer in headlights. With her hair standing on end, she does the sensible thing and surrenders.

Marius sees Petra give up. He turns to his partner and, with a snide, "Well, it’s been fun," disappears from sight. "COWARD!" Petra screams.

Ahh in which case he and Princess will just stand up and suggest the Hellknight get skating before he gets stabbed - Fiddles just wants to leave

"You mean you won't come after me if I turn and run?" he asks.

"Why don't we knock you out, to give you some credibility with the powers that be?" suggests Slipp.

"We don't want to kill you, just to get out of here."

"Of course... if you keep fighting we might not pull our punches, or our flames..."

"What for?" replies Fiddlesticks "You can run, or you can try to patch up what’s left of your friends before they all bleed out like tapped kegs. I’ve got places to be and no interest in chasing you. Go, stay, do what you want but decide quick."

Fiddlesticks turns to the surrendered Hellknight officer, eyes sharp but tone oddly casual as he fishes out his healing kit in the blink of an eye "You any good with a bandage, or just better at making people need one?"

Fiddlesticks looks to the fallen to see whether any can be stabilised.

Hes happy to stabilise the fallen, but Princess will be watching on if there is any shenanigans and chicanery

Marius rushes forward and takes a swipe at Kosh with an axe.

Nanoc immediately rings his cowbell to distract Marius (Black). DC 20 Will save or become or clumsy 1 until the end of Nanoc's next turn (or clumsy 2 on a critical failure)

Petra only glares at Fiddlesticks. She also glares at the remaining HellKnight. He catches the glare which strengthens his resolve.

"Nice try, Pathfinders. We are not soft like you!" and he raises his bow...

Nanoc, Marius is long gone. Voron made sure of that...

I guess we are waiting on Kosh then, might need to put Petra back on the map :)

Kosh's words have a fiery effect on the remaining footsoldier and he appears shaken by the result.

Since he has all of 2 hp left and he failed the save, he will take at least 2 damage when his turn comes around, which is enough to drop him. I'll call it right here.

After dealing with the Hellknights and Thrune agents blocking your way, you follow the twists and turns through the caverns beneath Egorian with help from Arnisant’s skillful tracking and a hastily drawn map that Benedet left with Sabina if she survived. Sabina clutches the map, fighting off tears until the sound of a thunderous explosion far behind the Pathfinders’ announces the destruction of Greensteeples and every being within its walls. With a mournful howl from Arnisant, Sabina no longer holds back her tears, trying desperately to comfort Malla in her own grief.

Once you finally return to the Southgate Inn, expecting magical conveyance to Absalom, Nan tells you of what happened inside the city while you were underground. Greensteeples exploded in an eruption of flame and magma, casting a pillar of fire hundreds of feet into the sky that proved viewable even from the inn. No one inside the sprawling manor survived. This brings renewed grief to Sabina and Malla, which Nan shares with them when she is told that Benedet stayed behind, likely setting the explosion off themself.

Since Sabina agreed to return to the Grand Lodge with you, Malla and Arnisant go with her.

On your return to the Grand Lodge, Paracountess Zarta Dralneen joins Fola Barun and Valais Durant in your debriefing. Among the items that you smuggled out of Greensteeples is a sealed envelope with her name on an attached ribbon. The envelope was not one of the items you collected. Inside the envelope is a star sapphire bracelet and a short missive: "The next move is yours, my dear. —Nemete"
