As Xilt takes up a defensive stance, the giants reach into sacks at their waste and hurl massive rocks at the Pathfinders!
Botting Xilt as doing Total Defense as per initial Discussion post.
The rocs do one move action each, allowing the giants to throw rocks without penalty.
One giant targets Berato. Result: Miss.
The other giant targets Anthys. Result: Miss.
Target: 1d6 ⇒ 5
Blue Giant vs Berato: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (16) + 6 = 22
damage: 1d8 + 10 ⇒ (6) + 10 = 16
Target: 1d6 ⇒ 3
Yellow Giant vs Anthys: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (17) + 6 = 23
damage: 1d8 + 10 ⇒ (3) + 10 = 13
Adeah Silversong
|
Now with a much closer (and easier) target, Adeah unloads on the nearer of the airborne giants, firing and reloading and firing again as quickly as she can.
Musket 1 vs blue (touch): 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (13) + 12 = 25
Damage: 1d12 + 15 ⇒ (7) + 15 = 22
Musket 2 vs blue (touch): 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (12) + 12 = 24
Damage: 1d12 + 15 ⇒ (1) + 15 = 16
Musket 3 vs blue (touch): 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (7) + 7 = 14
Damage: 1d12 + 15 ⇒ (11) + 15 = 26
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
Farrokh the Strong
|
Farrokh lashes out at the nearest roc as it approaches within his reach...
Slam + heroism + PA: 1d20 + 15 + 2 - 2 ⇒ (9) + 15 + 2 - 2 = 24
B/Good Damage + Arcane Strike + PA: 2d6 + 11 + 3 + 4 ⇒ (1, 3) + 11 + 3 + 4 = 22
Slam + heroism + PA: 1d20 + 15 + 2 - 2 ⇒ (6) + 15 + 2 - 2 = 21
B/Good Damage + Arcane Strike + PA: 2d6 + 11 + 3 + 4 ⇒ (2, 1) + 11 + 3 + 4 = 21
Slam + heroism + PA: 1d20 + 15 + 2 - 2 ⇒ (8) + 15 + 2 - 2 = 23
B/Good Damage + Arcane Strike + PA: 2d6 + 11 + 3 + 4 ⇒ (6, 6) + 11 + 3 + 4 = 30
Slam + heroism + PA: 1d20 + 15 + 2 - 2 ⇒ (11) + 15 + 2 - 2 = 26
B/Good Damage + Arcane Strike + PA: 2d6 + 11 + 3 + 4 ⇒ (6, 1) + 11 + 3 + 4 = 25
Slam + heroism + PA: 1d20 + 15 + 2 - 2 ⇒ (14) + 15 + 2 - 2 = 29
B/Good Damage + Arcane Strike + PA: 2d6 + 11 + 3 + 4 ⇒ (2, 1) + 11 + 3 + 4 = 21
Slam + heroism + PA: 1d20 + 15 + 2 - 2 ⇒ (8) + 15 + 2 - 2 = 23
B/Good Damage + Arcane Strike + PA: 2d6 + 11 + 3 + 4 ⇒ (2, 2) + 11 + 3 + 4 = 22
As Farrok has a 20 foot reach with long arm would he also get an AoO on the roc?
B/Good Damage + Arcane Strike + PA: 2d6 + 11 + 3 + 4 ⇒ (6, 3) + 11 + 3 + 4 = 27

As Adeah's booming shots hit the Jurn rider, Farrokh's claws tear at the giant's roc mount!
All three of Adeah's attacks hit. Blue giant is in single digit hp.
The giants have just enough Ride skill (+4) to automatically make the DC 5 roll to stay in the saddle after taking damage.
Blue roc does indeed provoke an AoO, but that attack misses. Four out of five of Farrokh's regular attacks hit the roc, doing a total of 120 hp of damage--taking the creature to exactly 0 hp (Disabled). The roc makes each of the Fly checks to avoid losing altitude for taking damage while flying with wings.
Xilt, Anthys, and Berato are up.
Roc Fly Checks (needs 3 or higher on each to avoid losing 10 feet of altitude): 4d20 ⇒ (16, 18, 19, 19) = 72
Anthys
|
Anthys uses Barroom Brawler (move action, use 1 of 5 for the day) to pick up Lunge, takes a 5' step forward (Air Walking, no AOO for 5' step), and takes a Lunging slash at the roc (Blue).
Attack, PA, Blood for the Empire: 1d20 + 21 - 3 + 3 ⇒ (15) + 21 - 3 + 3 = 36
Damage: 1d8 + 12 + 6 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 12 + 6 + 3 = 26
His AC takes a -2 penalty for using Lunge, so he is right now AC 27 before Teamwork feats (as he is still adjacent to Farrokh, +2 sacred vs Evil foes).
