Chroknight: Real name Chloe Parker-Myeong. Time-manipulating secret identity.
Digits: Real name Dot. Human returned to Earth after spending her childhood in space.
Empyrean: Given name Joy Jones. Mysterious angelic being recently arrived on Earth.
Statian: Real name Samantha Murphy. Super-genius dogged by her AI creation.
Phalanx: Real name Archibald Green. Ex-villain who can generate weapons and copies of himself out of thin air.
Andromeda: Real name Angelica Freeman. Brute-force telekinetic with no fine control.
Aquarelle: Real name Guillaume Roy-Côté. Illusion-caster who moved to Halcyon City from Quebec.
NPC Heroes
Captain Stalwart: The larger-than-life hero. Cape, heroic chin, and confident grin. Flight, Class-A super strength, invulnerability, and a knack for always doing the right thing. He's put down some of the most legendary and notorious bad guys in the world.
Whippoorwill: Winged flier and phenomenal combatant. Uses a signature whip and throwing weapons called quills with a variety of effects. Has a dark past that inspires her to seek redemption and drives her always towards heroics.
Praetoria: The latest Praetorian, Kayla Taylor. Super strong, flight, eye beams, and super senses. Still getting the hang of being a solo hero. Currently off-world.
Tenfold: Super-strong duplicator. Absorbs sonic energy to power his ability to generate up to nine copies of himself. However, that power also prevents him from hearing, so he is effectively deaf even though his ears work fine.
Gothic: Nth-caliber telepath. Dresses in goth/emo style. Dour, caustic personality. Does not speak, only communicating through her telepathy if she deigns to. Is able to hear the surface thoughts of everyone within nearly a quarter mile.
Ragnarok: Bruiser, fighter, frequent companion to Gothic. Has a motor mouth and seemingly no ability or desire to not say whatever's on his mind. Maybe that's why Gothic tolerates him.
Ordnance: Techno-organic being from another region of space. Can shapeshift into any sort of configuration and produces all manner of weapons.
The Wombat: Scrapper and fighter, frequent mercenary. Originally from Australia. Regenerative powers and an iron will.
Lucidity: Seer, oracle, and prophet. Has cosmic awareness -- able to view her own and others' lives across the multiverse. A bit spacey.
Praetorian III: Super strong heroic type, skilled fighter. Deceased.
Ultra-Star: Flier with cosmic blasts. Deceased.
Silver Shield: Armored hero. Retired.
The Judge: Telepath. Semi-retired.
Feya Firestorm: Myridia Vale, pyrokinetic mage.
Nightclaw: Real name Grace Gilliam. Formerly Steel Guardian. Once wore a powered suit of armor, but an encounter with an insidious mutagen altered her into a panther-human hybrid.
Horizon: Real name Shin Akebono. Time-flung energy absorber with an evil alternate future version, current protégé to Whippoorwill.
Conflux: Real name Connie Wescott Mathers. Supersmart magical prodigy, but with no personal arcane strength. Relies on self-made enchanted objects and devices.
Femtite: Real name Femtite. Princess of the Pixites, a subatomic race of beings residing in a piece of amethyst meteor on display at the Romita Museum of Natural History.
Rain: Real name Caio Costa. Former werewolf, now bonded with an angelic sword and recruited into a global organization that opposes dark forces threatening the fabric of this world.

The Alliance: Classic team of heroic supers. Current roster: Captain Stalwart, Whippoorwill, Yeoman, Foray, Ordnance, Imagerie, Feya. (Currently off-world)
The Heralds: Newer team, made up of younger heroes. Current roster: Nimbus, Gothic, Ragnarok, Tenfold, Half-pipe, and Rendezvous.
