COLONIAL HISTORY

Doubts are raised about how long Vidrian will remain free. The iruxi voice concerns that those who ruled there previously may return and try to subjugate them again.

They wonder if Vidrian can maintain its independence, or if this trade agreement will lead to Ekkeshikaar being dragged into a war it neither wants nor needs.

It's a trade agreement - not a defense pact. If they get into a war, there's no obligation for you to help them. Betel blurts out.

Eventually, the negotiations come to a close, and the Council of Stars takes a vote as to whether or not to enact the trade agreement as it has been presented.

Although there is much debate Council eventually ratifies the agreement.

Primary Success: Succeeded on at least 3 of 5 negotiation challenges. (3/5 Complete!

Secondary Success: Either succeed on all 5 of the negotiation challenges (3/5 Nope).
OR
Succeed on at least 3 of the negotiation challenges (YES) while also successfully recovering the requested documents (YES) and convincing both Kesstraka (YES) and Lashweather (YES) to attend the negotiations. (YES!)
