Juriya Arima
Oops. Forgot to read a part of Charm Person. If necessary, here's the oppposed CHA check as stated in the spell description
Opposed Charisma Check: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (17) + 3 = 20
I like runes
Will save: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4
I won't even roll his charisma since it's -1 and he loses the opposed check even if he rolls 20. I loved this Juri, but just a question: You get Charm Person for the 2nd time you take Magical tail. How is it you only took it once and already have it?
The man looks at Juri confused for a second, then his jaw dropped, completely surprised.
Juriya Arima
I get it for the 3rd level of Kitsune Trickster. Hence it being at CL1 instead of CL3.
Donimah Southlander
Donimah falls back towards the stairs and casts a spell of protection upon herself. She was going to need it.
Casting mage armor on myself.
Juriya Arima
At 3rd level, a kitsune trickster can use charm person once per day as a spell-like ability (caster level equal to her rogue level – 2). At 6th level, and every three levels thereafter, the kitsune trickster gains an additional daily use of this ability.
She's going for Invisibility with the tails, so she's stopping at 5.
Zeldrith Angothane
Zeldrith strides forward, his sword raised defensively, only to stop as he realizes that the mercenary isn't making any hostile movements. "Um... mind moving, friend?" He glances back at Juriya, raising his eyebrows. "He is our friend, right? Not about to gut me, yes?" Turning back to the human, he shrugs, readying his sword against hostile foes.
Readied Longsword (Weakened): 1d20 + 7 - 2 ⇒ (13) + 7 - 2 = 18
Damage (Arcane Strike): 1d8 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 3 + 1 = 7
Condition - Anyone who is not the human mercenary or a member of the party gets within stabbing distance.
Juriya Arima
Juriya nods. "You were just about to move to let us also attack the goblins, right?" Her voice oozes sickly sweet, begging the man to step aside to let the party also hack away at the goblins.

Ano, laying on the ground, sees that Nualia get up and get down a flight of stairs. She seems to be barking some orders to the mage as they go down yet another level in this complex.
Meanwhile, the man looks back and says "Wait wait! These are friends!" However, the bugbear clearly is more afraid of what Nualia will do to him and pushes the man against Zeldrith.
So this is what's going to happen. The bugbear is going to try and push the man. This is a sequential bull rush.
Bruthazmus CMB vs Orik: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (14) + 7 = 21
Bruthazmus CMB vs Zeldrith, second check: 1d20 + 7 - 4 ⇒ (7) + 7 - 4 = 10
The bugbear is very strong and manages to push the man into Zeldrith, but Zeldrith holds his footing and holds the man who is being squeezed.
The man, then, pushes the bugbear back saying "I said, calm down!"
Orik CMB vs Bruthazmus: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9
However, the bugbear holds his ground.
At the same time, the goblins act. From behind the goblin line, one of them starts to sing the goblin raid song. The goblin mounting a giant gecko actually rides the gecko over the wall and swings at Zeldrith, who was ready and swings first.
@Zel: Is your swing against the goblin or the gecko? Both are within reach.
Ripnugget vs Zel: 1d20 + 10 + 1 ⇒ (17) + 10 + 1 = 28
Damage: 1d4 + 5 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 5 + 1 = 8
Stickfoot vs Zel: 1d20 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (20) + 2 + 1 = 23
Damage: 2d4 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (1, 4) + 1 + 1 = 7
Confirm: 1d20 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 2 + 1 = 6
Damage: 2d4 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (4, 2) + 1 + 1 = 8
The goblin manages a cut on Zeldrith and the gecko bites him drawing blood. Meanwhile, the other goblins wait the situation with the man and the bugbear to resolve.
Zel: Take 7 slashing damage and 8 bludgeoning damage.
Party's up!
.Arrian
@GM: Reading Grease it appears there's no save or check to stand up in a greased area just the Acrobatics check to move?
Arrian stands up and casts a spell on himself.
Casting Divine Favor.
.Arrian
Correct.
Okay thanks. So Arrian's move was to stand up and standard to cast Divine Favor.
Zeldrith Angothane
My target will be the mount rather than the goblin - if we can trap him in here while the mercenary guards the tunnel, we might be able to make some progress.
Zeldrith scowls, staggering back as the goblin slashes across his chest - rallying, he retaliates, stabbing the giant lizard with his longsword. "Ano! Ano - we'll get them later. We could really use your help here!"
Longsword (Weakened): 1d20 + 7 - 2 ⇒ (15) + 7 - 2 = 20
Damage (Two-Handed, Arcane Strike): 1d8 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 3 + 1 = 12
Ano Clovermark
Ano looks back and her rage is paused when she noticed her friends dealing with a lot of trouble. She looks back down the stairs…then back to her friends…
She came here to save Nualia…she wants to give chase, who knows what kind of escape tunnels are down there…but her friends…her real friends…they need her…
Nualia never needed you. But now you have friends who need you now.
Acrobatics: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (2) + 9 = 11
The catfolk snarls, turning back to help her friends.
Getting up and walking 20 ft to help her friends. Bloodrage 8/12
Juriya Arima
"Donimah, mind moving for me? I know I'm good at what I do, but having a body opposite always helps!"
Flank?
Juriya Arima
Where doesn't matter, so pick wherever you want. Flanking means Juri will be able to full attack next turn, natural attack included.
Juriya Arima
Wait, are you denied DEX to ALL attacks if you're being flanked? I thought you had to be the one flanking to deny them their DEX and get the flanking bonus??
.Arrian
Wait, are you denied DEX to ALL attacks if you're being flanked? I thought you had to be the one flanking to deny them their DEX and get the flanking bonus??
If the target is in flank it takes sneak dice for every attack unless they have some class feature/trait/feat/spell/etc. that prevents it.
Juriya Arima
In that case
Juriya slashes and hacks at the mount as well, teaming up with Zeldrith to wreck the oversized frog.
Rapier: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (16) + 6 = 22
Damage: 1d6 + 3 + 2d6 ⇒ (2) + 3 + (2, 6) = 13
Bite: 1d20 + 5 - 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 - 5 = 3 Was worth a shot.
Damage: 1d4 - 1 + 2d6 ⇒ (3) - 1 + (5, 5) = 12

Ride: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (19) + 12 = 31
Ride: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (16) + 12 = 28
Zeldrith's attacks against the giant gecko are precise and deadly. However, its rider is also very skilled with his mount and is able to direct the gecko away from the sword's path. The goblin being so focused on Zeldrith, he doesn't see Juriya's very sneaky movement and isn't quick enough. She stabs the gecko and her rapier goes straight through its heart. The gecko dies and the goblin falls on the floor.
Goblin rolled very well with his mounted combat. However, he didn't have another immediate action to roll against Juri's attack. Gecko down, and goblin is prone. For this, I moved Donimah 5ft north and put Ano in a flanking position with Juriya. Donimah cannot provide flank to Juriya because she isn't threatening the gobo.
Waiting on Doni's action.
Donimah Southlander
Donimah steps to the side to get a clear view of the now mountless goblin.
"Looks like he's a chief of some sort!" she notes.
She murmurs another spell and her arm lengthens.
Casting long arm on myself to prep for buffing our two STR-based party members.
I like runes
The goblin that fell on the floor starts cussing and gets up to attack the one who killed his mount.
Juri, Zel and Ano can AoO this gobo. Next attack only works if he survives.
Goblin vs Juri: 1d20 + 10 + 1 ⇒ (16) + 10 + 1 = 27
Damage: 1d4 + 5 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 5 + 1 = 8
The goblin is very fast with his short sword and manages a cut on Juriya.
Juri, take 8 slashing damage.
Meanwhile, the man is frantically trying to stop the hobgoblin and the goblins to walk by. He says "Stop, these are friends!". The hobgoblin, however, is having none of it. He shoves the man aside and says something in goblin.
"Keep him still."
Bruthazmus CMB vs Orik: 1d20 + 7 + 1 ⇒ (11) + 7 + 1 = 19
The goblins run and restrain the man while the bugbear walks up to Zeldrith. The goblin song continues in the back.
Party's up!
Juriya Arima
Juri slices at the creature twice, possibly mutilating a corpse.
Rapier: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (14) + 6 = 20
Damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4
Sneak Attack: 2d6 ⇒ (5, 3) = 8
Do I get Sneak Attack on an AoO?
Attack: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (8) + 6 = 14
Damage: 3d6 + 3 ⇒ (4, 3, 2) + 3 = 12
.Arrian
Acrobatics, ACP, Hero Point #3: 1d20 + 2 - 2 + 8 ⇒ (2) + 2 - 2 + 8 = 10
Arrian realizes Zel is severely wounded and casts a spell then struggles to move towards him:
Standard to cast out of AoO range, move, touch Zel:
CLW: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5
Wonderful rolls but I'm sure I'm to blame for them.
Zeldrith Angothane
Zeldrith scowls - trapped between the goblin warlord, the greased floorboards, and the bugbear, he has nowhere else to go. Glaring at the bugbear, he grips his blade tighter, arcane power crackling down its length, and slashes at his foe. "Ever fought in the Goblinblood Wars, big ugly? Let me show you some of the tricks I picked up!"
Longsword (Spellstrike, Weakened): 1d20 + 7 - 2 ⇒ (20) + 7 - 2 = 25 - An additional +3 if he's holding a metal weapon.
Confirm: 1d20 + 7 - 2 ⇒ (14) + 7 - 2 = 19 - An additional +3 if he's holding a metal weapon.
Damage (Arcane Strike): 1d8 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 3 + 1 = 11 - Slashing
Shocking Grasp: 3d6 ⇒ (4, 3, 1) = 8 - Electricity
If that confirms, both the spell and the longsword crit, upping the damage to 22 S and 16 E.
I like runes
I love crits on magi.
Juriya is able to poke the goblin as he gets up, but he still gets up.
Zeldrith combat casting DC 17: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 = 10
@Zel: You might want to reroll this combat casting with a hero point or else you don't cast the spell. Also, since you're using spellstrike, you attack twice this round.
@Juri: You deal sneak attack when flanking, but it doesn't deny Dex to AC. The goblin is still very much alive.
Juriya Arima
Juriya spits up a bit of blood, muttering in Taldane.
"A little help?"
Zeldrith Angothane
I didn't think I got two attacks, but if that's how Spellstrike works in your campaigns, I guess I'll take it.
Longsword (Weakened): 1d20 + 7 - 2 ⇒ (5) + 7 - 2 = 10

Donimah Southlander
Donimah steps around Juriya and extends her lengthened arm across the room to touch Zeldrith on the shoulder.
"This should make that easier to repeat!" she comments, as a golden gleam of arcane power suffuses the veteran's form and he can feel his armor become lighter and his sword easier to swing in his hand.

@Zel: Does your character actually wear a hat? This looks so much cooler in my head with a hat.
The goblin is clearly very angry at how everything is going. He continues hacking at Juriya.
Ripnugget at Juriya: 1d20 + 10 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 10 + 1 = 17
Damage: 1d4 + 5 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 5 + 1 = 9
His attack is clumsy, but he is very well trained. He makes a very good swing at Juriya, drawing much blood.
@Juri: This hit AC 17, I don't remember if you are buffed above 16. Take 9 damage if this hits.
Meanwhile, the other goblins see the big bugbear fall and their eyes open wide. The man also looks at the scene with fear. He seizes the opportunity that the goblins are distracted, gets up and says "Nope, this is not for me. I'm gone. You are all friends, but you are hacking at each other." He starts to leave. The goblins are about to restrain him, but the goblin that was riding the gecko says something in Goblin.
"Get that man with the sword!"
The goblins line up to take on Zeldrith.
Red vs Zel: 1d20 + 5 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 5 + 1 = 12
Damage: 1d8 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 + 1 = 8
The goblin swings at Zeldrith, but the tiefling is well armored and easily deflects the attack.
At the same time, the goblin that is chanting casts a spell on Zeldrith.
This is Hideous Laughter. Act accordingly.
Party's up!
Juriya Arima
Juriya nearly lunges into the goblin as she goes down, coughing up blood unconscious on the floor as her blood coagulates, stopping the bleeding.
Fort Save, DC 14: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (13) + 1 = 14 Barely made it.

Rapier Damage, Bloodrage + Power Attack: 1d6 + 3 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 3 + 2 + 2 = 13
Unfortunately her attack misses the goblin. She doesn’t know whether it’s the goblin side stepping or her tears blocking her eyes.
“Donimah!” Cherry chirps fluttering near the bleeding Juriya.
.Arrian
Arrian focuses his fury against the goblin who just knocked down Juriya:
@GM: Per the feat Ferocious Loyalty the bonus increases from +1 to +2 against a foe who "renders helpless or kills an ally."

Donimah Southlander
"I'm a Cyphermage, not a shaman!" Donimah snaps, her tone more panicked than angry. She turns her extended arm to Arrian and grants him the same strength she granted Zeldrith.
Bull's Strength on you too...Maybe our illustrious GM will allow it to retroactively apply to your attack? Pretty please? :3

Good point about the Hero Point. If the goblin rider is still up I'll burn Arrian's last-ever Hero Point for an extra attack.

You can also use PF1e Hero points to help a friend.
.Arrian
You can also use PF1e Hero points to help a friend.
I think the most help we can achieve is getting rid of some of the enemies. Stabilizing Zel is risky business with him being prone and in front of 2 enemies who could attack him again.
Juriya Arima
Juriya, if she gets up, is just going to thin the crowd with bombs to that end. Zeldrith has resist 5 to fire so she can splash him as she bombards right behind the door. Hopefully the rank and file goblins are weak... otherwise this is DEFINITELY a TPK
Juriya Arima
A SINGLE hit? 16 <= AC <= 24. Shit.
