While Puddins heals herself, Demonica runs in and buries her sword in the creature! Or....at least that's what she visualizes doing. Unfortunately, she finds that her body does not respond, held fast by the creature's magic! Demonica is paralyzed.
Meitremar, meanwhile, glares at Bireli. He mutters a profane prayer, adding an extra clause to briefly compress the distance between, then unleashes a spell at the young swashbuckler as he bellows "Bow before Xar-Azmak, foolish boy!" i.e. casting a Reach spell.

Otoro heals himself, but his followup blast goes wide of the mark. Henry, menwhile, repositions himself, then quickens his allies' steps. Bireli feels the quickening magic, but decides to stay where he is as he taunts the mage while skewering the fiend!

With the scent of the ocean and Puddins' quick ministrations, he bounds around the whirling metal until he is in position to strike. He quickly thrusts and then spins to follow with a flashier strike. "Your evil will end before lunch! Ow!" The whirling metal undercuts the poignancy of his boast.

Meitremar bats away Demonica's spell, but he is not prepared for the force of Henry's fury. Razor sharp slivers of dagger streak through his cloud of debris, burying themselves deep in his chest. A look of shocked disbelief crosses his face as the light fades from his eyes and he collapses into a heap, unmoving!

Looking around the room, you don't see any evidence of further ongoing rituals or other ongoing dangers. However, lying where it rolled a few feet from Meitremar's unmoving hand is the horn that he seemed to be using as the focus of his ritual. Whatever it is, it seems like it was key to his plan.
