Yeah!!!!
Took a second level of Inquisitor (Swashbuckler 1/ Inquisitor 2).
Gained a cantrip and lvl 1 spell slot. Learned Detect Poison and Bless.
Gained Cunning Initiative (Wis to init), Detect Alignment, and Track (1/2 Inquisitor level to follow tracs). Took Power Attack as my level 3 feat. Going for an intimidate build eventually, unless someone knows why I shouldn't.
I could take Keep Watch instead of Bless if that would help with crafting. Ankha?
=)

3rd level Shaman
hp: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 2 = 10
+1 BAB
+1 Fort/Reflex
2nd level spells

Feat: Extra Hex (Water Sight (Su))
Spirit Magic (Slipstream)
+5 Skill points (Knowledge Nature, Perception, Swim, Survival)

I figure the experience of the mist lends itself to learning to peer through mist and fog. Next level when I get another hex I'll go with Deep Heart.

Woo hoo!
3rd level Alchemist
Taking half HD plus 1 for new hit points.
Abilities: Cruel Anatomist (use Knowledge-Nature in place of Heal), Disease Resistance (+2 on saves vs disease)
Formula: True Strike
Feat: Bodyguard
Skills: Disable Device, Knowledge (Arcana), Knowledge (Nature), Perception, Spellcraft, Survival, Swim
Background Skills: Craft (Alchemy), Knowledge (Geography)
I could take Keep Watch instead of Bless if that would help with crafting. Ankha?
Thanks Braxton. That would definitely speed up crafting, but faster crafting matters only if the party wants some alchemical items. What does the party think?
Ku'Hania
I could see alchemical items being important since we might have limited access to potions, and for some people, water breathing might be an issue soon.
Also, unless someone else wants it., I'd like to claim the Ring of Portection+1

Okay, just let me know if you have any specific items in mind. Otherwise I'll just make an assortment of stuff that might be useful. Keep Watch would cut crafting time in half (so about half a week to make a 50 gp item).
@GM: Are you okay with me turning Ankha into a production factory?

I'm good with Ku'Hania taking it.

@GM: Are you okay with me turning Ankha into a production factory?
Honestly, I don’t have that much experience with using the crafting system, but I am tentatively okay with it. The only thing that gives me pause is that this AP is, at its core, a survival-focused adventure for at least the first few books. I’m pretty sure it (and I) even mentioned that no one really has any gold to buy things like that on this adventure, and that most of the economy in the colony would be trading based.
Let me do some reading on that part, to see if you selling alchemical stuff is even feasible. Might just handwave it as “you give them this potion and the colonists gather equivalent alchemical ingredients for you to make more”.
I’m leaning towards being okay with it, and if it ends up becoming a problem we can work on it more later.
Ankha Brushbender
This is my first time playing a crafter too. I totally agree with using a barter system—I just used gold because that’s how everything is priced in the rules. In my mind colonists gather raw materials for Ankha, and she pays them back with a manufactured good. If it ever becomes a problem, you could just say that the necessary raw materials are exhausted in the area so Ankha can’t create that particular potion/item any more.

I should have Becky's 3rd-level character sheet updated soon; I believe I just need to pick new spells.
Ankha Brushbender
Does anyone have rope Ankha can use to climb down? Can anyone cast a Light or Dancing Lights spell to look down the well?

Better late than never, right?

I agree that it's very useful to keep up the pace of a game =)
Ankha Brushbender
I'm cool with our game using Discord. However I'm very seldom on Discord myself (though I do have an account there) so it's probably faster to reach me here than there. But I'm all for everybody else using it to facilitate communication and keep up the pace.
Ku'Hania
I'm good with it if you want.
Braxton Horatio Wynters
man ankha is gonna wreeeeeeck these guys
Ankha Brushbender
Nope--this time it looks like Ankha's the one getting wrecked!
GM of the Ruins
Sorry about that, Father’s Day weekend was busy! Getting a post up now.
I did end up creating a discord for anyone who wishes to join it. I have servers for my other two games and find it an incredible resource for quick communication that doesn’t require the use of the boards, as well as a nice note taking area.
You’re not obligated to join if you don’t want to, though!
Ankha Brushbender
@GM: We're still waiting for Ku'Hania to go before it's back to the rest of us, right?
Ku'Hania
Sorry. Father's Day, then was out of town for a couple of days.
Ankha Brushbender
FYI: I'll be on vacation June 30 - July 9. I should be able to keep up with this game, but I will not have access to Roll20 while I'm gone.
Ku'Hania
Loot added to the sheet
Ankha Brushbender
I think everyone else has a shield, so I'd like to take the shield cloak for Ankha if that's okay?
Braxton Horatio Wynters
Hey hey GM GM, what are your thoughts on Braxton using downtime to farm capital to eventually use to build his brewery, and eventually he'll have a Real job! Or maybe a tavern or inn would be a better first building... It looks like the rules are relatively simple for custom buildings and gaining capital. I don't think the other players would need to interact with any of it if they don't want, and this seems like a good campaign to try it out on, since we're probably attached to this settlement for the long term.
Braxton Horatio Wynters
@Becks: We had a wand of Color Spray and a wand of Flaming Sphere on our other bard. I think you're the only one who can use them, so you may as well take them.
Where are we at on gold? I see a silver/gold tracker in the loot sheet. Is this a good time to split that up? Braxton needs some golds for his Capital. The current golds split four ways would be 109.7 GP 80.25 SP.
What is the gold cap for items we can sell at the settlement? I doubt the Meridian Belt will be useful for a long long time.
I've added a spoiler at the bottom of Braxton's profile to track his business goals.
Ankha Brushbender
I'm fine with selling the Meridian Belt to help fund Braxton's tavern. I suggest giving the defoliant and star candle fireworks to the colony, to help clear land and to use as a signal in case of emergency.
Braxton Horatio Wynters
I've made a list of all the rooms Braxton will need to build his grand tavern-inn-docks-warehouse. It's surprisingly affordable. 5550 GP for everything, or 2775 GP if it's all earned Capital. I think time will be a bigger issue. Lodgings take *54* days to build! But you can spend more labor to speed it up. I think we'll have something functional up quickly =)
I've got a list of the buildings and stuff, what's currently being built, and its progress in Braxton's profile. I'm going to start with a dock first, since the dock can be used to accelerate Goods, Influence, and Labor acquisition. And it makes sense within the story.
If anyone has some spare time in their downtime, you could always come work for Braxton generating Capital =) I'll pay for the Capital, you provide the rollz.
Ku'Hania
Sorry for my absence, took the last week off to focus on home repairs. Back now.
Ankha Brushbender
I was waiting for Becky to go first so she could use her bardic performance, but I've gone ahead and posted for Ankha.
Ankha Brushbender
Thanks for the reminder! I'll still see if someone else can translate it first though--don't want to steal the spotlight from an NPC. :)
Ankha Brushbender
Note that I'll be away on travels August 10 - 19. Posting may or may not be impacted. I definitely won't have access to Roll20 though.

I definitely need to put some points in Knowledge Religion next level.
Rebecca "Becky" Beys
Waiting on Becky to post. If she hasn’t by tomorrow afternoon I’ll probably bot her, and have her use her performance
Sorry--busy weekend. Yeah, she'll use Naturalist. I'll try to get a full post up this afternoon.
Rebecca "Becky" Beys
@Becks: We had a wand of Color Spray and a wand of Flaming Sphere on our other bard. I think you're the only one who can use them, so you may as well take them.
Sorry it took me so long to get back to you on this. Those two spells aren't on the bard spell list and Becky didn't sink any skill ranks into Use Magic Device. I also thought Becky had sound burst among her known spells, but it doesn't look like that's the case. She's not well-prepared to deal with swarms.
Braxton Horatio Wynters
It's dumb but can the swarmsuit wearer just chase the metal bois around with a torch until the fire damage kills them?
