"I've already told you all I know. He was attacked by walking corpses. The scrolls are what might help you, from what he said before he got too sick to talk."
Anything else, team, before we move on?
"Of course, and many thanks for your assistance. We shall endeavor to rescue Becher and any of the other men still with him."

You are about half way to the caves you were drawn a map to.
A narrow footpath leads down a gentle but muddy escarpment, disappearing into thick tangles of shrubs and swamp-weed. At the base of the hill, the dirt path turns to soft sticky mud. It winds back through the shadowy mire. Nailed to a nearby tree hangs a moss-covered plank crudely cut into an arrow that points towards the mucky path. Beneath the moss, faded writing on the plank reads, “Barrel-Caves 2.5 miles.”
Each of you feels an annoying prick on a leg or arm or other exposed bit of skin. (well, or where your fur is not covered with clothing).

Twitchy and Flying Freedom?
@GM: We might've lost Twitchy; his last post was on October 8th. Flying Freedom seems to post mostly on Mondays.

Shoot, sorry about not posting.

Gaius uses his fancy new spring loaded wrist sheath to pop his Wand of Cure Light Wounds into his hand and heals Rozi.

"There you go, all better now. If my ancestors passed through this part of Taldor no wonder they decided to settle elsewhere. Onward we go."

Before Gaius's healing:
"AAAAGGH! There's blood everywhere! Wait did I even have this much blood to start with? No way! This is someone else's! I'm totally not gonna die. Ha ha! Ha! Ha..."
After Gaius's healing:
"Thanks!"

An overly dramatic dramatization perhaps? ;)
"A remarkable recovery!"

Walks on and every now and then casts prestidigitation in a vine attempt to keep clean.
Lady Alya De Qill
|
"Of course you can Twitchy, here"
And she casts a few times to clean him up and dry him out. She knows it will not last long but it makes one feel better for a time. So she offers to do it for anyone in the party who wants it. Keeps moral up at least.
Gaius Marius

"Who doesn't like to be clean and presentable?"
Gaius Marius
|
"Pry them off with a flat, thin object, you really don't want to squeeze them or try to use fire to remove them, as they will vomit in the wound and it could get infected. Also, don't leave any teeth in the wound."
"Good advice but keep an eye on Rozi; he's already not handling his leech situation with calm and grace."
Gaius chuckles as he watches for Rozi to panic again.| GM Redelia |
sorry everyone, a table of a special I was running hit a really intense few days, together with a sick family. I should be back to daily posting now.
The path continues for about a mile and a half when it comes to the edge of a shallow bog whose waters rise above the muck, covering the tracks entirely. A patchy film of sickly colored, rubbery fungus floats upon the surface. Near the water’s edge, three moss-covered planks hang cockeyed from a rotten wooden post.
Please place yourselves in the yellow box on the revealed map.
Also, please roll two perception checks each. You may substitute survival for the first one, if preferred. Also, you can roll your own initiatives, since I need to wait for other actions from you so it won't save time for me to do it.

I hope everyone is feeling better! Which direction are the PCs heading on the map, 'up' or 'down'? Gaius would be at the back of the group but for now I placed him in the 2nd row since I don't know which way is which.
Survival: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (18) + 6 = 24
Perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (16) + 7 = 23
Initiative: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12
If the Survival check is to follow or identify tracks, please add 1 to the total.

Are those 5 foot squares? We are kind of tiny now if so.
Perception: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (17) + 3 = 20
Perception: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (16) + 3 = 19
Orenjii, not as troubled by the leeches as their organic counterparts, gets a good look around.

Yes, these are 5 ft squares; you may need to resize your tokens.
We will wait a little longer for the others.
Which direction are the PCs heading? And WHOA that's one giant rat! ;)

I was asking to determine Gaius's position on the map; he'd be in the back row, not the 2nd row, as he's currently shown. So just to make it easy he's in the back of the group not the 2nd line. :)
| GM Redelia |
I understand why you want to know; I'm just telling you that sometimes the scenario does not provide that information, and you'll just have to place yourself without it.
There is going to be a delay, team. This is a really old scenario, and was written for DnD 3.5 rather than Pathfinder. Most of the time that conversion is easy, but there's a knotty issue here I'm trying to get help on.

That's why I was letting you know that, despite where his icon is on the map, he'd be in the back of the group. And I understand how those conversions can take time; don't worry about any delay. :)

When the direction of motion is not defined, there is no back to the group. You simply are located wherever your token is.
Fine, I adjusted my token's placement.

Rozi 5 foot steps up and unleashes his flurry of attacks at green fungus! He times it with his fellow rat if if possible, otherwise i think these are still sneak attacks in the first round, but -2 attack.

Twitchy and Rozi chop the fungus into little bits. It stops shrieking.
As their first attach hits, it lets out a cloud of stinky gas.
fort save to avoid being nauseated, please, rat friends.
The rest of the team is up. The purple circle on the map is a suspicious looking chunk of purple fungus.

The purple blotch is an aquatic violet fungus. Its tentacles are poison, and it is known for being drawn towards the sound of shriekers.
Gaius's arrow slams into the fungus, damaging it a little.
Rozi shakes off the nasty smell, but Twitchy is nauseated for one round.
Freedom, Alya, and Orenji are up.
