Pushed out of the water, Vanetta lets her breath out in a whoosh. She's not happy, nor healthy. She pulls out the healing potion that the quartermaster at the School gave her and downs it. As much as she loves Doc and Maldlethu, they can contribute to the fight in other ways than keeping her on her feet, too.

Vanetta takes the opportunity to insult the remaining nixie's choice of hair color.

Maldethu is correct unfortunately. Going to assume that Durg is okay with the 2 splash, we can retcon if needed.

Doc's bomb floats through the illusionary water as it would through air but doesn't quite connect with Perizia but does splash over several targets.

Maldlethu focuses on keeping up their bond with Nethys up. Unfortunately the staff of force does not connect.

Nixie 2 decides to reposition to take a shot at Doc with a watery blast, trying to separate them from Vanetta.

I don't see how the striking rune from magic fang would affect the secondary attack cat damage when we already discussed how and why the striking rune from handwraps doesn't.

Durg dreams of being a shark, but instead turns into a cat and mauls Perizia, it is not enough to stop the Marid though.

Yes, yes! More power to show them all the might of Nethys’s… No, not yet. Not like this. I will show them on my own terms. Maldlethu’s lips twist in a way that suggests the act of holding them together is causing him great distress, but no sound escapes them.

We need to focus on Perizia, although these nixies are pretty damn tough, too.

Vanetta swings around the "water" bubble, then slides in just in front of Perizia, trying to keep in mind what Durg said about it not really being water.

Will Save : 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (6) + 11 = 17

But she just can't seem to keep the thought out of her head, and struggles to push through what feels like water, even if she knows it's not.

"You got what you wanted when we brought you Corvius. Now you're just being greedy. Exactly as you accuse those guests of his as being. Take what you came for and just go home, B$++$!" Vanetta snarls the last at Perizia.

There's no bonuses for song or anything up, correct?

Vanetta pushes through the watery illusion as best she can and drops Perizia with her rapier!

With Perizia down the Nixies panic and rout as the manor starts reverting to an unassuming not particularly well kept large house.

It's easy enough to escape with the remaining survivors as well as grabbing Perizia's trident.

Outside, guard captain Sauda takes the rescued party goers into custody for questioning so that they can properly hold everybody accountable for this disaster and collateral damage.

While the wheels of justice move slowly the Qadiran government is impressed with your work resolving the issue wastes no time throwing their full support behind the new Sedeq lodge.

Returning to Katheer you each receive a personal commendation from Venture-Captain Esmayl ibn Qaradi for a job well done.

Primary and secondary objectives complete and all 10 treasure bundles acquired. I'll report and get chronicle sheets in the next couple hours. Well done everybody and congratulations on your success.

Maldlethu has to be pushed out of the newly-mundane house, tears streaming down his face almost as quickly as words about “such a tragedy” and “we can make it again” pouring from his mouth.

Thank you for a fun game everyone! It got pretty close a couple of times, but we did it!

Vanetta ushers the guests out as she hands Perizia's trident to Maldlethu with the assurance that it's probably verrrrryyyy magical. It's sore recompense, but she's just happy it's all over.

At the gate of the now pleasantly less tacky manor, Vanetta thanks Captain Sauda for the guards' hard work before going in search of Rashid-al-Marah the baklava maker. She buys a nice sized tray which she shares with the rest of the team over drinks that evening to celebrate their hard-won victory.

The next morning, the rises with the early tide to board a ship out of Sedeq. She hadn't even really noticed where the brightly painted freighter was going, since she's sure the Pathfinders will find her whenever and wherever they may have need of her....

Jiki has to practically drag himself out of the mansion, but he makes sure everyone is properly healed. He gives his account of the event to the authorities and checks the list to see how successful they were in getting people out. He thanks his companions for their assistance before heading off for the next adventure.

Doc also helps make sure that his companions are healed, then checks to make sure that the servants and slaves that were captured are properly healed, not bothering to offer any healing services to the guests and slavers.

Durg heaves a huge sigh of relief as Vanetta downs the genie. She rubs her head against Vanetta again, then shifts back into her usual surly form and gingerly feels her ribs. "Ow." is all she says, but the bruises say much more.

She will answer all the questions she can with as few words as possible, but seems more interested in spending time with Vanetta. Apparently, the swashbuckler made a good impression on her. :)
