I feel bad, shark was going to be exciting, if only I had failed yet another save you might have never known. (Also failed saves for Vanetta and Durg the the first time you were here as well)

I cast magic fang prior to the combat, which is where I'm getting the striking from. Sorry, I should have mentioned it. You did go over the attack stats, but I had forgotten. Thank you for breaking that down for me. Can I use item and status bonuses if I'm using my own attacks?
Pirate GM |
I understand you cast magic fang, I'm saying the striking from it doesn't increase the secondary cat damage, just like the striking from your handwraps doesn't.
Wild Shape says for the "Attack Modifier" you can use:
+16 from Animal Form
or your your own modifier with a +2 status bonus.
Your own modifier includes all your normal bonuses etc. It's a special thing that druid wildshape gets that nobody else casting animal form does.
You don't add an item bonus to the +16 from animal form or modify the damage with striking because of the text in the polymorph rule.
"If you take on a battle form with a polymorph spell, the special statistics can be adjusted only by circumstance bonuses, status bonuses, and penalties."

I appreciate everybody's posting speed here in keeping us going. We've got 2 days left to finish things up and I've got faith in us.
Should be no surprise this is the end of the scenario.

Sheets will live there for at least 3 months (probably longer). As always please review, happy to fix any issues.

Chronicle looks good. Thanks for a great game, all, especially Pirate Rob for running!
Performance DC 19: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (1) + 15 = 16
Got a hero point left, if that can be used on Earn Income!
Performance DC 19: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (1) + 15 = 16
Jiki needs a long nap before doing literally anything else.

Question: Does the time to copy a purchased formula into my formula book count against Downtime? Or if I purchase formulas, can I just assume that I find the time to copy them into my formula book without formally using Downtime to do so? It isn't really spelled out in the Society guide, from what I can tell, and the Downtime section doesn't list this as one of the things that Downtime would normally be used for.

Sorry, I'm confused about magic fang not being useful for a wild-shaped druid, but I'll go with that.
Thank you for running! It's been a while since I've actually played Durg (obviously).
(Can't use Hero Points for day jobs, not that it matters.)

Appreciate the discussion of wild shape, because I'm running a Strength of Thousands campaign with a wild Druid and I anticipate running into a lot of confusion over these things.
Durg Jarlsbart |
It's definitely one of the more confusing druid options. Mostly because it seems like nothing will aid your attack/damage/AC outside the spell description. :) I think I need to sit down and read it all again. In my copious free time.

Basically yeah, not much adds to the attacks. They scale with spell level though to stay pretty much in line with "standard" options like weapons with level-appropriate runes, so it's much simpler than 1E shapechanging was.

No hero points on downtime.
Copying formulas etc is an exploration activity not a downtime activity so you've got as much time as you want etc.

GM, would you please mark this campaign as inactive?
