"Ah, excellent!" The Count takes the journal. "These villainous types are so eloquent. They love describing their motives and methods. I'll have to read it over in more detail. Later."
"I did check on Sabina, and she's bound to make a full recovery. She needs to stay out of trouble for another week." The Count continues. "She asked me to send you her thanks."

"You didn't by chance, see any vampires when you were captured, did you?"
| GM chadius |
"Vampires? Oh no. Vampires and shadowy creatures infested Delvehaven like a pack of rats up until a decade or so ago." The Count sighs. "We heard some Pathfinders cleared the place, but we're not sure who. Did you find any evidence of the sort? Maybe a wayfinder?"
Radovan eyes Atae. "Once we're out of town, we'll split carriages. I'll drive Arnisant and Jaggie out of here personally. Atae, you can help me drive. I got a lot of stories to tell ya."
"The rest of you will get a carriage back to Absalom so you can report to the Venture-Captain faster. I tend to take the scenic route." He grins just as Arnisant whines. Count Jeggare just pets Arnisant in response and chuckles.

"Two different carriages would be best. We'll need to wrap up things and meet with the VC soon." Klank agrees before quickly addressing the dead body in the room.
"We need to make a decision on Thrune here. Rhaegal and I wish to give the body back to House Thrune, Atae and Meadow need to make their position clear, one way or the other."
Atae

If we remove her tongue, we can return her to her family, if not, I agree with Meadow, dispose of the body. she adds
| GM chadius |
Radovan hops out and pulls out a kukiri. "Sounds like most of you want the family to take care of her body. Minus the tongue." He hops off the carriage. "Her soul is another story, but anything to slow the Thrunes down from pursuing us is worth it." Radovan prepares for a job he's much too familiar with. Count Jeggare leans back in the carriage, more bored than anything.
Radovan hops back in the carriage. "Let's get out of here."
Outside of town the carriage stops and you step out, only to find a family of bears surrounding the other carriages. Arnisant hops out, barks at them once, and they stare at him. They sniff him once and then leave without making a fuss. Count Jeggare chuckles again. "Arnisant has a way with other animals. It's his gift."
You part ways as Radovan gives one last wave and rides off the left path while your carriage rides off the right path. The Count is secure, the Thrunes are dealt another blow, and you managed to explore Delvehaven, the Locked Lodge.
The End. Thanks for playing, everyone. What will you do afterward?
Atae
|
Being the model of a modern Calistrian cleric who knows her trade very well, she will let him talk and then pick out points that she wants expounded on, like their adventures, his mighty deeds, the Count, all while revealing not much of herself yet tantalizing him in Calistiran fashion with the hopes of a Calistrian "pay off"
Kernal Klank
|
A bit grisly for his taste Klank doesn't watch the mutilation of the corpse, but he is happy with the decision to give the body back to the Thrune Family. "One of the worst things you can do to a family is deny them the right to bury their dead."
With everything now straightened out, Klank enjoys the carriage ride back No constant innuendos from the Elf to ignore. At least she doesn't seem interested in Dwarves. As the group rides on Klank reads through a sooty manual, brushing up on his blacksmithing techniques, his forge already in his mind's eye.
"Meadow"
|
Meadow watches Atae's flirting with thinly veiled revulsion. As the Count's carriage pulls away, the young archer elbows Silence to get his attention, points at the carriage ahead, then pantomimes sticking her finger down her throat as if to induce vomiting. "Gross!"
Rhaegal Dragonkin
|
Rhaegal misses the company of Arnisant on the carriage ride back and seems to be trying to debate bears vs dragons.

"That girl needs to find a husband, a young one." He adds in as the carriage drives off. Klank raises a bushy eyebrow at Rhaegal and scratches his lip as he goes on and on about something uninteresting. "When you're done I'll be happy to explain the importance of heat treating steel, but only if you ask first."
He nods with eyes wide open to the bird, giving it a low hoot.
Atae
|
As the carriage carries her and Randovan and the Count away, Atae turns around to the group she leaves behind and gives them a wink and a smile and then turns to whisper something into Randovan's ear.
