This is the recruitment thread for Pathfinder Society Scenario #1-01 The Absalom Initiation. This scenario is Tier 1-4 and has the repeatable tag.
Players who have already requested a seat at the Cottonseed Recruitment thread prior to this post will be granted a seat provided they post in this thread by Sunday April 18th. All others will be assigned on a first post, first seated basis. If there is sufficient demand, I will run a second table.
Start Date
Monday April 19, assuming I have enough players for a table at that time. I am on US East Coast Time.
Game Expectations
I ask for a posting rate of a minimum of once per day during the business week, though I realize (and expect) that real life can get in the way of fun at times and that not all players will be able to meet that pace. I do not anticipate, at this time, posting much on weekends or during much of the week of PaizoCon.
I expect folks to occasionally be unavailable for a period of time. If I know that I will be unavailable for some reason for more than 24 hours (or 48 over a weekend), I will post such. I request and expect all players to do the same.
I reserve the right to bot players who do not post anything within a 24 hour period and will request each player have botting instructions in place before the end of the first briefing.

Ended up joining the Pathfinder Society shortly thereafter to put his skills to use keeping agents alive.

We are definitely at two tables.
If you are planning on playing a particular PC at PaizoCon, please note that I do not anticipate finishing any tables of this prior to PaizoCon, so please choose a PC that you can have "out on assignment" into June. I try to keep a good pace in my games, but this scenario has the potential to run longer than others and I know that, at least for me, with the summer approaching I will have a few other draws on my time.
It looks we have some veteran players to this scenario and some first-timers. Not sure how many of each, but if you could let me know it could be helpful in making table assignments.
Everyone who has posted above has a seat, but please do not post in the Gameplay thread until I post table assignments.
By my count, we are still waiting for one player with a "held seat" to check-in and a couple of those who posted above to create PCs.
That puts us currently at 2 tables of 5, which means we have room for two more players if there is still interest.
I should have been more clear. By "veteran", I meant those who had played this particular scenario before.
Though, it appears that we do have a good mix of players relatively new to PF2e and those with quite a bit of 2e play under their belts.

I hope there's still room for one more! I haven't played this one. I was thinking about taking this guy to PaizoCon again, but I think I'd rather do pbp. Easier to fit into my schedule. :S

He rarely brings Anansi out in front of other people because the construction is still pretty fragile and he hasn't learned how to strengthen its frame yet.

He tends to be a bit quiet but wants to be able to blend combat like a true dragon, spells when needed weapons when he needs to do so.
