I just meant that if it's something that could cause the minimal friction between players - don't bring it up in character. It's definitely okay (even expected!) for the GM/NPCs/environment to work in a manner that matches the player choices (as in, playing a non-devil-born tiefling in Cheliax), but not okay for the other players to use it if it could cause issues with other party members.
We don't have the dynamic of Gimli/Legolas, neither will have when playing via forums unless we're in it for several months or years together already and it grew organically from things happening in-game. This AP in particular, as other evil ones, are known for having this kind of issue so I'm simply cutting it on the roots, from the get-go.

Hi guys! Posting it on all my pbps.
Our offshore team at work is very affected by the pandemic at the moment and with the fiscal year approaching to an end, our reduced capacity is terribly affecting my time. For the next several weeks it will likely impact me in such way that I simply won't be able to keep up with the forums, things normalizing only as we start approaching mid June.
For the games where I play, GMs please feel free to bot the characters. If you don't desire to bot me for so long, I completely understand, apologize for the late notice and wish you all the best of fun. If you hold me around, though, I should be back after this storm.
For the games where I host, my sincerest apologies to the players - I won't let you hanging so if you stick around until my return we will give it continuation as normal. Otherwise, please message me and once I'm back I'll recruit replacements.
To everybody, I'm sorry for the late notice and I hope we will continue playing together once I'm back!

Preemptive notice: Today I'm moving abroad. This means that I may disappear for a few days until I can get semi-settled. Please bot me accordingly. In this combat, I will avoid using lethal damage, so plain unarmed strike (with the associated AoO) to use sneak attacks.

Apologies for my absence.
In a nutshell, I've was offered and accepted a bunch
of new work that obviously disrupted my activities here.
My time quickly became overcome by my new responsiblities, and
not being the most organized person, I found my free time disappearing.
So wanting the best of both world, this situation forced me to organize a lot better.
Still going to be working a lot, but now I've carved off part of my day for my games here.
Hope you all are still willing to continue!

Sorry for the delay posting last week.
Getting some reno's done and the basement was finished midweek, so the process started to move the family downstairs so the first floor could get worked on.
Add that to my work load...and the game slipped. Should be better posting this week, but then next week I'm going out of town for a much delayed visit with family, so posting may get spotty that week as well.

Sorry I didn't get an update up this week. What with dealing with the renos, finishing moving downstairs so the contractor can start on the first floor on Monday, and getting ready to leave town for the week his morning....
I had been planning to keep up some posting this week, but have decided to leave all my responsibilities aside (work and play) this week. Having a week with nothing to do but have fun with family will do wonders I think for my brain after COVID, allowing me to come back refreshed in body, mind and spirit!
Expect a post to continue on or around the 26th.

Last week my whole family was laid low by a nasty bug. Not Covid, but bad enough. So while I wasn't tending to myself, wife or daughters, I wasn't in too much of a posting mood.

Had bunch of Work, Family and Health issue pop up that took my attention away from this and my other games.
