Just seeing who is interested in doing the Against the Aeon Throne adventure path for Starfinder. No nudity in this one, as well as some ship to ship combat. The party is on a mission for AbadarCorp to the planet NAKONDIS in the Vast. They are there to deliver some supplies from Absolom Station. The heroes are also looking up an old friend named Cedona. While the Voyage of the Isaac Asimov is more hard science, this one is not.
Party Makeup
Looking for 5 1st Level PCs.
Races
Any race from the Core Rulebook to the three (3) Alien Archives are available.
Themes
You may pick Themes from the Core Rulebook, the Pact Worlds, the Character Operations Manual, and Near Space.
Class
You may choose classes from the Core Rulebook to Character Operations Manual.
Ship
You may build a Tier-1 Ship using the Core Rulebook and Starship Operations Manual after party selection.
Outfitting
You may outfit your character using both the Core Rulebook and the Armory.

I will be submitting Kerchakorro, a LN vesk soldier with the Sharpshoot fighting style and heavy weapons.
Former drop-trooper and a little bit of a xenophobe, Kerchakorro has struggled to adapt to the (relatively) new peace between the Pact Worlds and the Veskarium. He joined up in the colony business as his daughter's urging--she works for the corp and has been trying to get him to be a little more understanding and accepting of other ancestries. He's gruff and keeps his own counsel if he's not on the job or asked for his input, but he dotes on his daughter and participates in aerial jetpack-based sports when he can afford to.

Okay, don't forget a connection to Cedona.

Nym Arabani |

This is my (Doctor Mono's) submission- stats and background are fleshed out in the profile, but the TLDR:
Nym is the wealthy, arrogant, but surprisingly talented never-going-to-get-his-inheritance heir to Arabani Arms. To keep him from becomeing little more than a servant of his sisters, his eldest sister sent him to Absalom Station to represent the company and "test" the product among gangs and pirates. Since then, he fell to Cedona's radar and she's convinced him to do some work above boards.
He hates it.

I’ve almost finished my PC’s background. Xumronyen is an embri witchwarper guard. Though I could change it to technomancer or envoy without problems. The basics: Cedona saved its life after it was nearly killed by an embri rival. Understanding that getting revenge, if at all possible, would be a long term goal, it decides to embark upon this mission to a colony world.

Alrighty.

Haven't played Starfinder, but I've looked through the rules. I used to be in a Dragonstar campaign back in the day. (It was a Sci-Fi D&D setting back for 3.0.)
I'm quite interested in trying this.

Looks like the submissions are lacking on magic/healing. So I've put together this submission. I still need to work up a background, but I felt I could use some advice on spell and language selection if anyone is willing.

After working more on the background, I just couldn’t get it to my satisfaction, so I decided to create a new character. Now I’m thinking of an android envoy corporate agent (for AbadarCorp) that is going to the planet to do a secret audit/assessment of the colony. I’m not quite sure of a connection with Cedona. Maybe my PC was a corporate contact for Cedona over the past dozen years?

Infosphere Integration The artificial brain an android possesses can allow better compatibility with infospheres and direct downloads of information. An android with this trait has a built-in comm unit that can be accessed without needing to use their hands. Once per day, whenever the android takes a 10-minute rest to regain Stamina Points, they can choose one Intelligence-, Wisdom-, or Charisma-based skill. The chosen skill becomes a class skill for them, and they gain Skill Focus as a bonus feat with that skill. This decision lasts until the next time the android uses this trait. Replaces Exceptional Vision
Multilingual New languages are easy for some androids to learn. An android with this racial trait knows four additional languages at 1st level. In addition, whenever such an android invests a skill rank into Culture, they learn two new languages instead of one. Replaces Upgrade Slot
Constructed For effects targeting creatures by type, androids count as both constructs and humanoids (whichever type allows an ability to affect them for abilities that affect only one type, and whichever is worse for abilities that affect both types). They receive a +2 racial bonus to saving throws against disease, mind-affecting effects, poison, and sleep, unless those effects specifically target constructs. In addition, androids do not breathe or suffer the normal environmental effects of being in a vacuum.
Flat Affect Androids take a -2 racial penalty to Sense Motive checks, but the DCs of Sense Motive checks against them increase by 2.

Knowledge You are deeply connected to the world of corporate culture, and know all the movers and shakers. When attempting a Profession or Culture check to recall knowledge about corporations and their executives, reduce the DC by 5. Diplomacy is a class skill for you, though if it is a class skill from the class you take at 1st level, you instead gain a +1 bonus to Diplomacy checks. In addition, you gain an ability adjustment of +1 to Charisma at character creation.

BACKGROUND
------------------------------
Ivris-mu was created to be a companion for an eccentric human priest of AbadarCorp named Reth. He was quite wealthy and wanted an android that would accompany him in his work and free-time. In time he became more of a mentor to Ivris-mu as the android showed skill in auditing AbadarCorp’s projects.
It met Cedona five years ago when they were both recuperating from an android-targeting virus in a hospital. They formed a friendship “over similar cultural preferences, experiences, and disparate contexts and adventures,” as Ivris-mu told Reth.
Two years ago, Reth retired. Ivris-mu decided to continue its work with AbadarCorp, instead of accompanying Reth into retirement. At first Reth was disappointed but in time he realized Ivris-mu was part of his legacy.
Recently, Ivris-mu accepted an assignment to travel to a new colony supported by AbadarCorp.

With seven genders, Maraquoi need more pronouns than him/her/they. Paizo has not released any official recommendations, so I did a little research and picks some that sounded like they might work. These are what I’ll use when doing my own writing, but others can do what they want.

Background
Nuri Zeghav was born on Marata, but ey yearned for the stars. Something about Dawnflower’s Star drew em to seek the spaces between, the void. Ey studied be able to work abroad a starship and eventually found someone willing to take em on as crew. However, on eir first voyage, Besmaran pirates attacked shortly after leaving port. Seeing no use for ey, they threw em in the airlock and spaced eir. As the airlock doors opened, Nuri prayed to the divine suns. That prayer was answered in a way.
Surprised to find eirself still alive, Nuri found ey could somehow move in space under eir own power. Ey drifted slowly in the void toward eir last known location, the port eirs ship had left. Ey probably would have died of dehydration and starvation before actually reaching eir destination, but ey was picked up by a passing ship. On that ship was an android named Cedona returning from a research trip.
Since then ey has continued to travel the starways in search of the connections between the void, the stars, and life in the universe.
Description
Nuri is inspired by the character of Trance Gemini from Andromeda. Kind of innocent, kind of mystically zen. Not necessarily an actual sun’s avatar, but a worshipper of a sun (Sarenrae).

Why yes.
connections by Theme
A character’s connection to Cedona based on that character’s theme can be chosen from the list below.
Ace Pilot: A few years ago, you received an emergency commission from an android named Cedona. She needed quick transport into an asteroid-choked section of the Diaspora, no questions asked, and couldn’t find anyone else able to navigate the complicated route quickly. Cedona was impressed with your flawless piloting and contacted you a few times for other jobs, even when another pilot would have been more convenient for her to hire.
Bounty Hunter: You had a high-paying job that seemed to have gone bust, as your quarry had slipped away to another planet without leaving behind any clues. You were about to admit defeat when Cedona contacted you with some information—your quarry’s location. You collected your quarry and your pay without any difficulties. Cedona has provided you with unexpected but useful information from time to time ever since, and the two of you have become friends, although she hasn’t ever revealed her information sources.
Icon: Cedona happens to be a fan of your type of performance or field of study. The android is polite and friendly, and the two of you have bonded based on her appreciation of your work. She asked that you come visit her in Madelon’s Landing if you ever found yourself out in the Vast. You could tell that she didn’t really think you’d find the time in your busy schedule to get out that far, and you look forward to surprising her with your presence.
Mercenary: You took a job a few years ago clearing some invading forces out of a ruined factory, and one of the mercenaries working alongside you was an android named Cedona. It became clear to you that she was no ordinary mercenary but was seeking a particular individual you later learned was an escaped convict. Regardless, Cedona was cool under fire and very professional, and you appreciated that. She saw the same in you, and the two of you became friends. You have an ongoing, good-natured dispute about which of you could take the other in a fight, but you’ve never pushed it to the test—deep down, you might worry that you’ll lose.
Outlaw: Despite your back-alley dealings and efforts to avoid legal entanglements, you kept running into an android named Cedona. You might have thought she was a bounty hunter or a police officer, as she so frequently seemed to know where to find you, but she didn’t seem interested in capturing you. She was more interested in finding out why you were charged for your crimes, and whether you had done illegal things for the right reasons. Cedona seemed to actually like you, when so many others were willing to cast you aside or turn you in, and you struck up a friendship with her. She once showed up to provide you a transit pass and fake identification documents when forces of the law were closing in on your home, and you feel like you still owe her for that.
Priest: Cedona was a friend of a friend whom you tended through a difficult illness. Although Cedona doesn’t share your religious conviction, you learned over long hours at your mutual friend’s bedside that she is a good and caring person. When your friend passed away, you and Cedona both agreed to keep in touch, but you drifted apart nonetheless. You heard she retired to an AbadarCorp colony in the Vast, and you resolved to rekindle your friendship.
Scholar: You attended a short series of lectures a few years ago about the business of religion, but you found the presenter’s conclusions ill-founded and lacking in intellectual rigor. You met another attendee—an android named Cedona—and struck up a friendship while complaining about the lectures. Cedona was primarily interested in learning about AbadarCorp colonies; she hoped to join one of those colonies once she retired from her current job, although she didn’t mention what that job was. When she was approved to join AbadarCorp’s colony on Nakondis, Cedona asked you to come visit her when you could, to see “religion and business in the field.”
Spacefarer: You’re the reason Cedona came to Nakondis in the first place. You’ve been to the system before, although it seemed to have little to recommend it to anyone. Sure, Nakondis is lush with beautiful, healthy forests and thick with sparkling fog, but you aren’t the sort to consider settling down planetside. Your acquaintance Cedona agreed it seemed pleasant, and you weren’t surprised when you heard she retired to the AbadarCorp colony there. You would like to see her life on the planet you first introduced her to.
Xenoseeker: You chafed at the confines of civilization in the Pact Worlds, finding your center in remote gardens or little-traveled wildernesses. On these journeys, you occasionally encountered an android named Cedona. She never told you what she did for a living, but she talked often about how she was looking forward to retirement on a wilderness planet far off in the Vast. When she was approved to join the colony on Nakondis, she invited you to a going-away party to celebrate her good fortune, and she asked that you look her up some day.

She came into my life at a dead end. My target had apparently disappeared. I drowned my sorrows in the nearest bar only to come across an Android who insisted on buying me drinks while I related my sob story. She was nice. Easy to talk to. Good listener. All the same, I keep my head enough leave out identifying my current target.
"Not many Bounty Hunters are so good at avoiding fatalities," said the mysterious Android.
"I prefer 'Extraction and Retrieval Specialist'," I replied. "I’ve always been good a breaking up fights and taking hits. I do my job, it’s noting personal. My specialty is bringing in targets alive and unharmed. My procedure is to disarm and subdue the target. Always minimize collateral damage. Always minimize damage to the target. This grants me a reputation for clean work. Employers love it when you don’t make too much mess on their behalf."
She looks at me with her synthetic eyes and pauses before saying:
"I think this will be of help,"as she slides over a data chip. I plug it into my device and almost choke on my drink. This is Good information. The kind of intel independents usually have difficulty getting legally. With this, that runaway target won't be a runaway for long.
"How did you get this?" I ask looking up from my screen only to find that the Android is gone.
I hear from her again once I capture my quarry and collect my fee. Her name is Cedona. We message and video-chat from time to time (her location is always untraceable and she uses a holographic background). She usually has a 'present' for me such as a lead on a target or a job. Her last message, she finally tells me something about herself besides her name. Apparently she's retiring (from what I have no idea) to a newly settled planet in the Vast called Nakondis. I should pay her a visit, she says. That sounds like good idea. Sick of the Pact worlds. Could use a change.

Finally got the concept straightened out, and will have the sheet ready to go after work today!
Jahn Soter (Human Street Rat Biohacker) grew up in a small frontier town on Akiton, and to say his life's been a struggle would br an understatement. Between poverty, losing his parents, teacher and aunt to a disease that swept through his town and being forced to take care of his twelve-year old cousin, and nearly seeing what was left of the town destroyed by raiders, all while still a teenager himself, has taken a harsh toll on his mental well-being. Cedona met him once while passing through during the epidemic, and has kept up correspondence with him, even occasionally sending small amounts of credits to help him. Now he's all grown up, his cousin's moved out to join a Cosmonastery on Absalom Station, and he's recieved word of Cedona's retirement.
He's scraped together enough creds to finally get off Akiton, and is hitchhiking with the colony shipment to meet up with her and thank her for helping him maintain his will to live, while hoping to offer his medical skills to the colonists so he can finally make a life for himself.

Okay. That's good I think. This profile. I ended up changing the Theme to Outlaw as I wrote the background. It took me way too long to figure out if I was supposed to be upgrading the exocortex that functions as a tier 0 computer. lol. I hadn't looked further to L7 to see that it eventually auto-upgrades.
